Absolutely love this place. The owners are fantastic, super welcoming and generous, the food tastes great and is always fresh. I come here for lunch whenever I forget to bring my own (which ends up being pretty often). I would definitely recommend this cafe to anyone who wants a great meal with great service.

What I consider the biggest, best ginger cookie in the city! The lunch special is always tasty and well priced. Great selection of desserts, salads and sandwiches. Staff is friendly and good at remembering familiar faces.

I was visiting Victoria for a work trip this week and my office was nearby to the Selkirk Cafe. The cafe itself is warm and inviting - a direct reflection of its owners. The food and drink here are reasonably priced and very tasty. I came back a second day in a row to order the Salmon and Lox bagel. If you are in the area, I’d recommend checking this place out for a quick bite.

Purchased a medium americano & house coffee & extra large cookie and went outdoors to enjoy. It was quite good until I needed to use the bathroom. Apparently the bathroom was being cleaned & I was told to go elsewhere. When I asked if another 5 minutes should do it, the answer was yes. However when I stepped back inside there was a sign on bathroom door saying "closed". There were other patrons inside. I was told they were still cleaning what is a basic powder room. I don't have health issues but I really was not impressed that I as a paying customer was told to go elsewhere. Good thing that as a visitor to the city I was staying two blocks away.

Offers a bit of everything and great coffee. Treats are made onsite and are always fresh.good selection of eats for a quick lunch if you are in need. Service has always been great as they treat everyone I see go there like they are a regular . Would recommend this little shop to anyone who is in the Selkirk area

Nice atmosphere and can't beat the Gorge. Prices are a hair high for a cafe but worth it for the quality of the food. Friendly and courteous staff.

Good cookies, but nothing special as far as the other food/drinks go. Kinda pricey for what you get. Rude staff. Asked them to clean off one of the tables that had something sticky on it, they offered me a cloth to clean it myself. Had to ask again and they said if we were going to be rude we could go somewhere else. Not sure how asking them to clean their own tables off is rude...

Tasty, but not worth the money. Paid $15 for the Tuesday special which is tasty but consists of nothing but white rice for the most part and a tiny piece of (very tasty) fish. For a work lunch, it is not worth the money. For less I can grab a diverse and tasty meal at other cafe's in the area.

We headed here for their Bibimbap special - very fresh and tasty. There are a lot of very cold ingredients that really lowered the overall temp of the fish when mixed -I didn't mind too much, but a couple if my colleagues didn't enjoy it.

I had a fresh baked bacon scone with coffee today. It was not only healthy choice but also super tasty. Good place to go for snacks and healthy lunch. I love to try their lunch special next time.

Great and kind servings, and cozy and comfy atmosphere. The lady owner welcomed me and my wife for our first visit and gave a nice explanation of the menu. And the barista served awesome coffee, soup and Bibimbab which is one of Korean traditional meals. Taste and service are all perfect!

Came in feeling snack-ish. I talked to Stephanie and she gave me a run down on everything behind the counter. The amount of enthusiasm she had was refreshing and exciting. I had the almond berry scone which like many of the other things behind the counter was definitely hand made. I found it moist with a nice sweetness from the berries and crunch from the almonds. She also helped me connect to the wi-fi. Great experience all around.

ACCESSIBILITY: street level entrance with free standing tables and chairs. The bathroom however is not well equipped for mobility. STAFF: Polite staff but not friendly. FOOD: Looks like a turnkey coffee shop with a Costco card. Nothing stood out as far as food goes. The coffee was lack lustre and somewhat bitter. Bitter notes are due to either over extraction or possibly poorly maintained equipment.
