Worst customer service I have ever experienced! The manager continually made excuse after excuse regarding why my experience was so poor. The employees aren't trained properly to handle customer complaints or do curb side pick up during the pandemic we are currently experiencing. If I could give this store 0 stars I would. After getting this issue fixed I will NEVER use this store again and may never return as a pet valu customer.

Good selection and well stocked. Depending who is on shift, sometimes in attentive. I was ignored for quite a while as I wandered around looking for something. I deliberately waited to see if anyone would ask if I needed help. This was on 2 out of 4 occasions. The Manager was present.

I love this store. The staff in this store are very knowledgeable, extremely friendly, and always offer to carry me purchases to our car. Kendra is the best pet store staff member I have ever dealt with in Elliot Lake. I went into pet value in Espanola, I needed cat food, I left the store, the young man was a smart alec, so I left, and went home to Pet Value in Elliot Lake. There are 3 pet stores in Elliot Lake, I will only buy from Pet Value. Thank you, Kendra, and all staff, I have would never change.

Love the Betta fish and really happy that they help the sick betta fish not like the other pet stores that just give them away while they're still sick, but it's cute that there's baby Betta fish but I still have 2 Betta fish i got from there, ones is an old man Betta fish now that's 9 months ago I got him on me and my brother b day and the other is a baby still but he's so cute but my grandma got him 2 months ago.

Horrible service, went into Pet Valu Elliot Lake looking for a large bird cage. Had zero help from staff and even less help from the manager who was in fact in the store but would not come talk to me. Last time I will waste my time there and will make time to travel elsewhere where my business will be appreciated. Would give LESS than one star if it was an option.

Hi there! My name is Crystal Calbert - I live near Kapuskasing, Ontario -Kapuskasing is our local Pet Value store .... I’m just writing to say a great big thank you to all the staff that works there as they all do an amazing job but I would like to especially thank one of your employees whose name is Julie Lebel. She went above and beyond every time we’ve been in but today she was just amazing with her treatment if our new puppy who is 3 months old and still getting her confidence up in new places and spaces. Julie was so encouraging to our girl “Hera” and took time out of her busy day to help us get her comfortable in the wash bay as she was a bit nervous in there with all the new smells - we hope to one day be able to bring in Hera to have a bath and Julie’s help was instrumental in setting a good foundation of positive experience for our puppy. Being able to bring my puppy into this store has always been a great experience! Hera is a Cane Corso, although she is only 3 months old now she will grow to be quite a big girl and having people like Julie provide her with such positive experiences will undoubtedly help her to continue to grow into a well balanced adult in the future! So I just wanted to say thank you for always encouraging your staff to be so “pet friendly “. Experiences like these stay with a dog for life and your employees are gems ! Great value, love the buy 12 get 1 bag free deal. My puppy is doing great on their food and is very healthy and active compared to big box store foods. Also my older dogs (8 &9) love the no hide chews and often steal from puppy.
