Best coffee shop around. Sean is an amazing owner and always takes the time to chat. He'll remember you and your order. Now the customer service alone deserves 5 stars, but the coffee is incredible. Do yourself a favour and grab and americano. Not only will you the smooth taste blow you away, but so will the price. More than fair for the fare. They also have scrumptious pastries. The bombolini are wonderful and the croissants are superb. Nothing is overly sweet - which I like. I cannot stress how great this place is. Lui Chi's will put a smile on your face and pep in your step.

My experience was I had forgotten my wallet. It had set my day into anxiety. Staff there cancelled my order and were so understand. One of their clientele brought me a London Fog tea during my break down. There are wonderful and caring people in this crazy times.Thank you smooth out a bad situation into a positive experience.

Best place to get coffee during the week days! The two that work there are great at what they do, the coffee is good, they have some solid sweets/pastries, and some interesting antiques as decor. It's located on the first floor of a business building, so it's not the most cozy cafe, doesn't seem like a spot to get work done on a laptop, but there are lots of places to sit and chat.

First it's the best coffee available in the region. They are owner operated and you can tell that there is a huge level of passion that's been put into the business. The steam punk decor is really cool and the service is quick. Can't say enough good things about the team here.

Happened to stumble across this place. The owner has made the lobby of an office building into a funky place with tons of character. I just had a coffee but it was SO good, and the owner gave me a free top up! I also tried to give a tip and he said he only accepts tips when his staff is on because they need it more than him. He also talks to every customer as if he's known them for years. Such a friendly spot. I wish I came downtown more often so I could stop by more often!

This used to be a literal small shop operation outside of where they have set up now and the move has created a unique coffee experience. A bland building is no match for the eccentric shop located within the front doors. Phenomenal coffee brewed daily and many snacks to tide oneself over. I would highly recommend Lui-Chi's to anyone in the area. Bonus points for the character of this establishment as well, love the caps.

This whiskey barrel-aged coffee is so good, and the owner is the friendliest guy around. You can tell he truly cares about his shop and customers. I used to get this coffee when it was a tiny little sidewalk cart, so it's very exciting to have a large permanent place! The story behind the name is heart-melting and the decor and environment is unique and quirky. The live music weekly is a nice touch and the local pastries are incredible. Definitely my favourite coffee shop in the city.

Luichi's is one of the best local coffee shops around! The coffee is a very high quality and I can't recall the exact details the owner shared with me about how ut is done but if you ask him he will happily and passionately share with you! I do remember though that he gets the finest vanilla imported from Madagascar so that all e should tell you the love and passion he has for his product. Love this place and highly recommend you go!

Amazing coffee! Great service! Attention to detail is what you will find in absolutely everything they do! It was great to meet and chat with Shawn and Hayden. There is so much history in the process and many stories if you get a stance to meet one of them. It’s in a great location downtown and you will have a few choices to park your car.

I was coming home from a hard day if work when I saw this amazing green little car though not sure if it's a car or van anyway I stopped to take some photos of it when I noticed it was advertising a coffee shop. So I looked around and literally right beside the car was Lui-Chi's Coffee so I popped inside and was immediately blown away by the presentation of the shop. Not only that the owner was extremely nice and made you feel at home immediately. As you continue talking to the owner you realize how much work and passion he put into this coffee place and it's truly beautiful thing. I highly recommend this place their coffee is what coffee should be. Not to mention they're delicious treats they sell and merchandise.

Never been or heard of this shop. Was walking by, stopped in, and was immediately greeted and welcomed. Barista, didn’t catch his name, recommended an Americano when I requested a delicious black coffee. And boy, he was right! Definitely hitting the spot for this afternoon lull! He also complimented me on my tank top, which was an added touch of personalized customer service experience for me. To the barista that made my coffee, thank you!!

Highly recommend this place, the wood roasted coffee beans give it a distinct taste that's really smooth. Combine that with friendly staff and delicious pastries from Arnos, this makes it an awesome coffee place downtown. The staff stated that they are still waiting on the furniture which would make it an awesome place to hang out if you are downtown!

This is the best coffee I have ever tasted. It is smooth and mellow, without a hint of bitterness. I am led to understand that this has something to the way the beans are aged in whiskey barrels and then slow roasted over hard woods like maple and alderwood. Amazing. Worried the world will find out too soon!

I just want to give a HUGE shout out to not only Lui-Chi Coffee for their outstanding service and awesome coffee and treats but I also want to shout out the security guard who was on duty at the building on Tuesday 13, July 2021. She is simply AMAZING!!!!!!! Without getting into details she went far and beyond her regular duties to secure a misplaced item for me that I happened to leave behind. This morning reminded me that we still have such good caring and loving people in the world! Blessings to the gentlemen behind the counter serving awesome coffee, and a special THANK YOU to the female security that simply made my day. I sure hope you all get a chance to see this review. AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!

Ya know it's rare to find such a hidden gem in the city but this is IT. Not only is the cutest shop ever (it's like going back in time) but they are master coffee/espresso makers. The bakings that they have are locally made and SO delicious unlike any I have had in the city. Forget second cup or Starbucks. This is my new fav.

The guy who runs this place is a friendly genius, who designed his own espresso machines. Coffee is amazing, with a distinct woody taste that grows on you more and more with every sip, and the prices beat other nearby establishments. They have a unique selection of pastries. My favourite are the small bites, that are very affordable and delicious. Service feels like your best friends are making you coffee. I highly recommend.

Sean the owner is a wonderfully charming individual who has created an amazing shop that has atmosphere and comfort rolled into one. The shop feels very unique and inviting, always making me want to come back just to hangout. His coffee is easily the tastiest coffee I've ever had from a store period. I won't share his secrets that's for him to tell, but the coffee alone makes the trip worth it. 10/10 would recommend.

Kadin was amazing, my wife and I sat down waiting for our meeting kadin greeted us nicely. We sat down and asked if we were hungry. I asked what do you have to eat. He conveyed the available sandwiches and that they are made fresh everyday.told me ingredients and sauce. I purchased one. It was delicious. He told me of the company's history and work saving Chuwawas. Great cause. We laughed and exchanged names. Kadins customer service was top notch. He is Definitely a valuable asset to your company. He held us a container of used coffee grounds for our garden until after our meeting upstairs. Again showing his amazing customer service skills. 100% recommend this coffee shop.

Love the uniqueness of this coffee shop. Their chai tea/lattes are delicious. They make their own chai mix (not that syrup stuff) that is very unique and tasty. Breakfast bites are really tasty and I like that they change things up. They don't always have the same breakfast/pastry fare.

Found Lui-chi’s while doing some urban photography in the area. The owner (which I never got his name) was eztreamly accommodating. Not only did he show me around he also let me behind the desk to take some close ups of his equipment which he told me about and was extreamly passionate about. I would 100% recommend this location and I’m glad our downtown core has business owners like this.

In town because my father in law is dying, and the hotel I’m staying at doesn’t have coffee machines in the rooms and the restaurant doesn’t open till noon! Ugh. So off I trek to City Centre when I happen upon the aroma of coffee wafting through the morning air. Already I’m hooked! So on goes the face mask and into the great unknown and greeting me was the friendly Shaun. Couldn’t see it but I knew he was smiling, he was wearing a bowler hat so you just knew he had to be. Friendly chat and a few minutes later I’m on my way with a brewed coffee and a London Fog with a shot of espresso. Trust me, you want this coffee, this glorious and perfect coffee!
