best dessert in the whole city!! 12/10 recommend the pistachio mousse cake! You will NOT regret!! Also I really recommend the lavender fogs. I moved away from Edmonton for a year, and thought about these every week. You can also catch the best sunsets from the window. Great atmosphere to hang out with friends & catch up, laughing the night away. Block is one of my all time favourites.

Always pleased with the iced americanos I get from there. They sell alcoholic beverages as well. Always a bunch of yummy looking pieces of cake that I have yet to try. Lots of seating, vibrant ambiance.

Cosy Cafe with wonderful decor and ambiance. Until the jet engine that makes steam turns on and deafens everyone. Nice enough staff. Prices are expensive. Coffee is pretty good.

I ordered the Turkey Brie Apple sandwich. Very disappointed. The turkey was sliced processed turkey, and there was next to no Brie on the sandwich. I did call and speak with someone about it, and they very generously gave me another meal for no charge. I ordered the herb crusted chicken pot pie and Greek salad. I also ordered the Chocolate Marquise which is extremely delicious and decadent. If it weren't for the initial sandwich, I probably would have given five stars. They addressed my concern very kindly and professionally.

We came here on Valentine's and I'm so glad we did. It was busy but enough turnaround for a spot to sit. While in line, they had two vases of roses which were available to give to your Valentine for free. That was a very nice touch. Sweet desserts, hot teas, and a live performer in the company of your favorite person, made an excellent evening.

Charming spot recommended to me by many Edmonton locals. I spent an entire afternoon here eating a marvellous soup and drinking coffee while I completed some school work. I liked it so much I returned a few days later and had a super delicious lavender latte. Would highly recommend checking it out!

Oh man the ambience of this place is amazing. It has a nook where one can drink their coffee and read a book. The place is eccentric. It's definitely not a place you would see regularly, but is for sure needed.

Very nice ambience for a cafe on Whyte. However, despite the desserts being visually stunning, they are really not good. They are on par with, or even worse than store bought sweets. Pictured is my “panna cotta” that had the stiff consistency of jello. However, their drinks are of much better quality. The matcha latte and coffee was great.

This place refuses to be accessable to those with disabilties that require them to be in a wheelchair or walker. There is a 10 inch stoop that they will not turn into a ramp. Not for me man.

I've been here several times during university, with classmates, friends, and even out on a date here. This place gives off very cozy vibes, although the lighting could be a bit better sometimes I suppose. They always seem to switch up the stuff that you can order there, but I have had some really good stuff from there! The desserts there are really yummy! The only thing I would recommend is maybe having a menu on the counter for us with vision problems. I can't read the chalk writing on their menu sometimes and it kind of bothers me because sometimes I make a guess at what I'm ordering.

We come here once a year as part of a special musical concert celebration. The flavors of gelato and desserts is excellent. Sometimes the service is a little slow but staff are friendly. Brick walls with Edison bulb lighting makes for an old industrial feel. Worth going to!

This is the perfect example of when looks are deceiving. I visited here with a friend and ordered two desserts, a caramel pear dessert, and a passion fruit dessert. The passion fruit dessert was pretty decent. Good flavour, and it looked beautiful. The caramel pear dessert on the other hand was a different story. While it looked pretty good, it was the most sickeningly sweet dessert I have ever had. Like, no joke, I got 1/2 way through the dessert and thought I was going to puke because of how sweet it was. I felt sick for several hours after that. It tasted good, but was way out of balance. There was no reprieve from the sweetness, and I'm pretty sure the pear "mousse" was actually a buttercream, which only added to the untethered sweetness. Overall, I would go back, but I would be much more careful about what I ordered.

As for standard coffee, I do think it is overpriced *for the quality*. Nothing about the coffee was necessarily deserving of its price point. Definitely not something you’d go to daily. But the vibes are there and it’s a cool hangout spot for your friends to chat and chill out. Plus, the hours are amazing for those night owls who actually do want coffee after 6.

I loved the vibe of this place. They have a small library of sorts, where you can take a book and leave a book. Also, there's a gender neutral bathroom! It was very queer and trans friendly, and the architecture is well taken care of and stunning! I tried the lavender latte, and it was delicious!

We took our coffee to go but a Really nice atmosphere. Coffee was good (I got a Vietnamese coffee and my aunt got an americano), but would have opted for a half size or small. Also the Vietnamese coffee was truly an iced americano with cream, but 4$ more.

The atmosphere is really nice and the staff are very friendly. My food and coffee wasn't my favourite though. My panini needed more ingrediants, it was a bit sad for the price, and my oat latte was weak and kind of watery. It's a cute place though, I'll give it another try.

We visit this coffee Cafe every time we are in Edmonton. Coffee is made to perfection and there is an excellent selection of delicious desserts. Excellent location in trendy Old Strathcona district and very beautiful ambiance inside and out. Customer service is excellent as well and they keep the Cafe as clean as possible considering how busy they are. Try their Tiramisu cake. You'll love it!

Located in the middle of whyte ave. This cafe and bakery has all the right vibes. Parking in this area is challenging no matter what establishment you visit. They serve all the signature coffees with a tempting selection of pastries.

Manager is creepy, desserts are mediocre and overpriced. After spending around $60 on just cake and drinks between the four of us, we went to the washroom. Manager stood outside the washroom while we waited patiently for each to go in and out, and stared us down the whole time, saying nothing but being obviously strange. Could honestly buy a whole cake for the same price and it would taste better. Was so excited to support a local cafe, but won’t be back. The two stars are for the gelato and the girl behind the counter, which were nice.
