Think back ... Back to the 1990s. Kurt Cobain and Nirvana had rescued us from spandex and Joico Ice Mist. "dot com" was still not part of the vernacular and Seattle (along with some parts of British Columbia) was enjoying some surprisingly good coffee from a not-as-new-as-you'd-think chain. They were cool because not only did they encourage you to hang out, they made phenomenal coffee. Fast forward two decades. The aforementioned chain doesn't even deserve the moniker of "pedestrian", being long surpassed by even fast-food joints. And then ... then Woods Coffee shows up. And all is right with the world again. I'm new to this shop, having only consumed -- and loved -- two Cafe Mochas. But wow. Amphetamine-like caffeine content, strong flavour, zero bitterness and a perfect chocolate compliment. You will be hard pressed to find a better beverage anywhere at any price. Run, don't walk to Woods Coffee. And if you don't have the energy to run, you most certainly will after your cup!

Very cool decor, friendly staff, lots of seating, clean bathrooms, lots of goodies and drink options, and surprisingly some really cool swag: the obvious ones like mugs, bottles, and cups, but also cold coffee growlers(!), and some really well designed hats, sweaters, etc.. I only drink drip coffee, and I actually found their dark roast to be kind of light and bland, but I'm willing to give it another go.

Really well decorated coffee shop. I am not sure why people are complaining about the pricing as I did not find it any more expensive than any other coffee shop in town. It would be nice if they had some more selection such as sandwiches, wraps etc. to grab and go. Overall, a nice addition to Tsawwassen.

I love Woods coffee and this location is handy if I'm not in the mood to cross the border but I am a little confused wht this location closes at 5pm, It seems like an odd time to close when most coffee shops including Woods in the states are open much later.

After driving past this coffee shop numerous times I decided to stop in and give it a try. The staff were friendly and informative. I ordered a blended mocha coffee drink. (similar to a frappuccino) Although the drink looked really good, it mainly tasted like cool whip with mocha syrup. The paper straw also became very tough to use after turning completely soft.

I like this place, I'm obsessed with oat milk london fogs and they use a really good oat milk, I think they use the Earth's own barista (or at least tastes like) which is the BEST oat milk. Please don't change it :)

I don’t know where the friendly service reviews are coming from because I come here quite frequently and there is only 1 female that actually takes the time to be inviting, greet me or even remember my order. There is a male working there and he is so cold to me every time time I order from him. I don’t know if he doesn’t realize it or if he really is just choosing to do the most minimal work. The other females working are basically the same, extremely unfriendly and cold. Won’t even say hello or announce that your order is ready just place it on the counter. The last time I was here the croissant was also stale, they also don’t offer to warm up (would taste WAY better). Although I love the coffee here, I’m getting quite annoyed and disappointed with the little to no service they are offering. It’s not hard to be friendly to customers or show interest in the customer who is choosing to come there and share their business. Rude service, please learn some manners staff.

I used to love this place but the last time I went they were so rude. They gave the wrong drink. No big deal. But they argued with me that they hadn't made a mistake and then just shut the drive through window in my face. They did correct the order, but they could really just apologise and be professional about it. I was very nice about it so there was no reason to be offended at me.

I got a caramel macchiato this morning. It's really weak. It tastes like I'm drinking steamed milk with a shot of caramel. They need to either add an extra shot of espresso or change their dosing completely. Very disappointed. Definitely would not recommend this place for coffee.

Is it a Tsawwassen thing or just coincidence that we keep ending up in coffee shops which call their coffee cups "mugs" and use them without a saucer? Doesn't it feel a bit uncouth?? Fortunately, our cappuccino and latte were drinkable, but quite caffeinated because I had trouble falling asleep the same night, hmmm. When I first saw Google map pictures of this place, I thought it might be a more "serious" coffee place.

So White Spot is going into the coffee café business. Well the drip coffee is mediocre at best. The Pumpkin spiced latte was dull and over sugared and food options looked very sad in the display case and overpriced. $7 for a pre-made sandwich. Nat Bailey wouldn't be proud of this attempt to imitate Starbucks. And I'm not a Starbucks fan.

Milk was scorched in my flat white... And was more of a latte than a flat white. Coffee leaves a bad aftertaste in your mouth. Of the 4 coffees we ordered, not one of us finished ours. I remember this place a few years ago being much better.

I have been here lots. I find the atmosphere to be good and lots of room to sit(I don't think I have ever been there and not be able to sit down). Everyone has always been friendly and accomodating. I will continue to stop Woods when I am in the neighbourhood.

Went in for a coffee at 5:50 and was rudely told they were closed. I asked what time they closed and was told 6:00. I said, so you're still open for 10 minutes. Thats when i was told they closed the tills already. I then said, i can pay cash or debit. I just want a coffee. I was told again they were closed. If you are open til 5:50 then put that on your store hours. Its too bad because it looked and smelled really nice, and they had some good looking food which i i would have purchased also. Never going back here again. Hire new staff that works til close and not til 10 minutes before.

After anxiously waiting a half year for this to open, I dropped in on opening week to get my coffee. The atmosphere is awesome. Great seating, indoors and outdoors, a fireplace for winter internet surfing, and brightly sunlit. I got my coffee and turned to look at the pastries and was stunned at the pricing. We're talking 4$ and up for simple scones and cookies. Not sure if that left a bad taste in my mouth but my coffee didn't taste so good afterwards. They need to get their pricing in line with Canadian prices. When that happens, I'll come back. For now, I'll keep going back to the Wooden Frog.
