What a great find! These guys only do coffee, and they do it well. The owner (J-P) is cheerful, courteous, and bursting with enthusiasm for his product. I was served one of the best espressos of my life, and couldn't resist taking a pound of beans for home. Note, Opulence only sells espresso-based hot drinks and beans - no food, fancy lattes or cold drinks. Just real deal, good coffee!

My kids, wife and I had a great experience at Opulence Coffee! The coffee and hot chocolate they served us and our kids were next level! They have an obvious passion for quality! You can tell this by their lean concepts with their business, their roasting data logging and the brand awareness they have. This is a name we will all know very well in Canada in the near future. Opulence Coffee is a rare gem in the city of Ottawa. Coffee here is truly crafted as an art form and it shows in the quality of the beans and with the taste of the finished product. However, while the coffee is excellent, the customer service is what really stands out. The service here is amazing without even a close second. I highly recommend popping in for a coffee to see what this place offers!

This place is the place to go if you are a die hard coffee lover. Great service (bilingual) and atmosphere with excellent and knowledgeable staff. There is a TON of coffee choices without the tacky hipster vibe of other coffee shops. Staff are very passionate about their brews so you're going to get the best. Highly recommend checking it out!

Definitely the best coffee in the market, likely the best in the city! I appreciate the focus on traditional coffees rather than trendy ice-whatevers and BS pastries. I love that it’s a small local business, and the owner/operator JP is engaged with his clientele and the Market community, but the fact that it’s really fantastic coffee is number one for me!

The coffee is aways fresh and is roasted just enough to give you the caramel and nutty flavour you enjoy, but not too much that you miss out on the unique flavours of the beans. The owner and roaster is very friendly and knowledgeable too. If you want something with frills, this isn't the place for you. If you want good coffee and want to support local, this is a place for you :)

Stumbled upon this Coffee Roaster and Coffee shop during my visit to Ottawa this weekend! I can’t wait to go back- the coffee was incredibly flavourful and is from a custom blend the owner makes and service was excellent. Each cup of coffee is also made to order. The owner of the store gave us some very helpful information that made it easy to also choose the beans I wanted to take back home. You will not regret having your next cup of coffee here. ☺️

This is seriously delicious coffee that is roasted on the premises so it smells great when you walk in and the coffee is strong a rich tasting! There is only coffee here so not a place to get a snack, but to simply grab some pure coffee!

If you are looking for the most pure coffee experiences in Ottawa, Opulence coffee is the place for you. JP (owner) takes pride in his work and produces one of the best espresso’s I’ve ever had! I now religiously purchase the beans for my coffee machine at home. If you go one week without Opulence coffee you’ll realize very quickly that other brands don’t even compare. Where else will you get the beans roasted and coffee served in the same place ?!? Come by and meet with JP, who makes sure every coffee, espresso, cappuccino, latte, americano, cortado, mocha is made to perfection. Stop by and see a friendly face and enjoy an amazing coffee in the process!

Amazing coffee ! The beans are roasted fresh, so you’ll pick up something roasted between 2-6 days ago. Our home coffee game has never been stronger ???? the owner is super friendly and makes it easy to pick your coffee (we love the med dark). in store coffee is also incredibly delicious. Superb coffee, you can tell it's truly a passion for the owner. It's also the best value in the area for high quality beans. A pound runs $17, and what I noticed after is most of the coffee I buy for $15~ elsewhere is only a 300-350g bag. At Opulence it's a full pound at 454g, and DELICIOUS.
