Great variety of university logo items for tourists. However I collect shot glasses from my destinations but sadly they didn't have any due to school policy. Really disappointed.

Always have what I need. Clothes can be a bit over priced at times but for the most part it's a great on campus resource. That has almost everything a student at Dal needs.

Just to remind all dal students! There are super long line up at the beginning of the term. Otherwise it is pretty good. You buy can all kinds of dal goodies there.

Went to purchase Christmas gifts. Cashier was a snot asked if I needed help I said yes and he turned away from me and started to help someone else. When I.paifor my merchandise they didn't even have any bags. Set my receipt on my purchase and turned his back to me. Very rude. This was today around 3pm.

Always a bad experience whenever I visit this place. I am not sure if my experience is isolated but I have never had a good experience whenever I visit. I cannot find the books I need and when I do order the books online (from the book store) they take forever to find them. If they (the staff) work there and find it that hard to find these books. How do they expect students to navigate their store and find them? Secondly, why aren’t they open on the first weekend of school being reopened? Students having their books for classes seem not to be a priority. I should have ordered from Amazon. Lesson learnt! Thanks.

Very convenient on campus shop for all your school supplies, and every fall they have a mimi bed, bath& beyond for residence. However it is vary expensive, so I recommend going during the yard sales in the spring (March).

I called at noon with no answer, then drove an hour to pick up my textbooks. The website says they close at 3pm. I arrived at 1:45 and the door was locked with a sign that they closed 1:30. If they answered the phone or had accurate hours on their website it would have saved me my whole day.

I have only gone in here once but it was a good experience. The staff were very helpful in helping me find the textbooks I need and were friendly at the checkout. It is nice how you can load the money to your dalcard and use it to pay and get some money back on your card for using it at the bookstore. There is also lots of merch if you want a sweater or dal stuff.

The staff are so nice! The selection is amazing for resource books and cute Dal merch. I mean the prices are outrageous and you can save so much money on amazon but it is a university bookstore so what can you expect? It sucks that you have to leave bags outside the store, so it's best not to bring valuables. They also do not offer plastic bags but their reusable ones are only $1 and are pretty good quality.

It's a university book store. The staff are really nice, but I wouldn't go there for anything other than required books, as it's pretty expensive. Just take a bus to Walmart for much cheaper supplies.

It has a good collection of books, stationary, clothing and other items. However, you can't always find the textbooks you need and some items are overpriced. Sometimes you can buy cheaper book on Amazon.

The selection of clothing, mugs, etc. is fairly standard for a university bookstore. The prices are pretty good, compared to other schools I've attended or visited, and there are usually a few good bundle deals. Nice selection of stationery and other supplies if you're on campus and in a pinch.

I worked at the Dalhousie bookstore part-time. They let me go to pay someone with less experience a lower hourly wage. I did well at my job and would not reccomend working here to anyone.

Updated Review: It’s a convenient place to pick up basic school supply items if you’re in a pinch for time. They carry university apparel and some pretty sturdy clipboards that I love. They have renovated the store and it looks much better. During peak rush hour, they require you leave your bag outside. In my previous review I reduced my rating because there lacked security for your items. However, I commend them for adjusting to student needs and implementing a bag check-in place this year. Now, your belongings will remain safe while you shop. The staff are friendly and willing to help. I was looking for a study guide to one of my required textbooks, and the manager was willing to source and bring it in for me. As other reviewers have mentioned, the lines are long during peak rush hours, but that is to be expected. They move through the lines very quickly and efficiently. Overall, in the last year they have made many changes and improvements that have improved the customer experience. I would recommend this store to anyone.
