Spent 20$ on 4 items. Grossly overpriced. The coffee was far too sweet and terrible tasting. Terrible layout on the entrance. I was trying to hold the door open for my wife and the door swung back, hit my hand and spilled my espresso on my wife's shoulder. The only redeeming qualities are the decor on the inside, the washroom, and the fresh made deserts. The banana bread was quite good too.

Definitely a great spot in Amherstburg to hangout and get some baked goods. They have a huge selection of drinks and things to eat. Close to Amherstburg Riverside. If you are around there I would definitely recommend stopping by and checking the place out.

I have been 3 times over the past uear or so and my experience has been the atmosphere is great, the staff is helpful and professional, and the baked goods were amazing....the coffee, however, was not good at all...which i cannot stress enough. I couldnt drink the last beverage i got and each beverage has been sub par at best. So go here for baked goods, go somewhere else for coffee

You see places like this on the TV, you hear they exist, you know they are out there but never see them around here. I was starting to wonder if it is make believe UNTIL I Walked into Coffee & Co. today. For a second I remember saying, "it does exist, OMG it's real." I honestly felt like I was in downtown Manhattan, Chicago. This place made me feel happy and the staff was so respectful and genuine. I had the Turkey panini with brie... very good. Coffee is excellent. This spinach and feta thingy I had, I can have 2 or 10 more, it was that good. GREAT JOB and this is exactly what this community needed. A breath of fresh air. Cant wait to bring my wife. Unfortunately google only allows 5 stars or I would give it a 10.

My family ordered the avacado toast, coffee, and a cold drink there. My toast was too bland. The drinks were okay. Although the decor for the place is quite nice, kind of wish their food and beverages were up to par as well.

Beautiful cafe on the main strip of downtown Amherstburg. Their Americanos are one of my favourite as well as their breakfast sandwiches. If you want to come when things are more relaxed definitely come during mid morning on weekdays. If you love the hustle n bustle of cafes then the weekends are more of your vibe.

Ordered an iced coffee and the cup was more ice than coffee. Paid $3.75 for a cup of ice. Never again. They also have a drink called a mocha chill that doesn't have espresso in it but they don't tell you that until after you ordered it apparently it's just ice, chocolate and milk...and no one really seemed to have an idea of what they were doing in there. Better luck next time I guess...if there ever is a next time...

Decided to cold for a ride to Amherstburg on a cold winter day. Deserts and lunch was on our minds after shopping. I ordered a very tasty ham and cheese on a pannini. My guest had Tuscan soup. Hot flavourful and full of veggies. Yum, the deserts were absolutely delicious. Made the whole day having our lunch at this Cafe. The Cafe is done in bright white, clean, warm and a nice display of the desserts at the counter. Wanted too taste all of the desserts they looked so good. Going back soon with the rest of the family because they will like the atmosphere. Yes the washrooms were pristine. No wait staff but the counter help delivers your food once the counter order is ready

Delicious tasting desserts. My kids love their cupcakes and cookies. They are spot on when it comes to taste and appearance. The inside is beautifully decorated. My two complaints are the wait times (which I get sometimes can be out of their control) and the prices are a bit high. Overall we like to go here for a treat our selves kind of day.

Super cute but a bit pricey. Great for a nice little treat & pick me up from time to time. Both inside & the patio are adorable. The iced coffee was weak for my taste but the cinnamon bun was to die for. The lineup was long but the staff were quick and friendly.

The prices are what you would expect when receiving the best quality, service and product. What you receive is far from it! If you are staying in a cafe you should be served in a proper mug or glass not a paper cup. The cappuccino I received looked like the foam was made with a bubble stick out of kids bubbles. There was clearly no skill or training for the person making the drinks. Literally my drink was over 50% foam and they made a latte for my partner and instead of a silky smooth texture it was a spoonful of the sad excuse for foam taken from mine and placed on hers. This is extremely disappointing and there clearly is a disconnect with what they charge and what they think is an acceptable level of service quality. I’m not asking for latte art... although you’d think for the atmosphere and price you’d be the place to provide it. But nope this was a total let down and frankly a waste of coffee that someone took the time to pick, dry, ferment, and roast. They seriously need to reconsider what they charge vs what they provide. If you look at every other review “it’s expensive” no one will ever write that if the product provided is of high enough quality that it feels fair. Will not be returning I tried a couple times but the total lack of quality I’ll be going elsewhere.

Reminds me of a traditional instagram coffee joint. The food is good, coffee is great, staff are nice & environment was welcoming. However, it is definitely a tad overpriced. Also the avocado toast was good but wouldn't recommend it with a cup of coffee. The garlic they added is not a good combo with a coffee.

We went down to see the Christmas lights in Navy Yard Park and surrounding area. It was s cold out so we stopped in to get a hot chocolate and a peppermint mocha to warm up. That was the right decision! The place has tons of homemade desserts. They also sell great gift boxes with a variety of samples and sizes. This is in a perfect location. There is a ton of free parking in the area and it is a great spot to walk around.

Really nice place, it's like you pay for the experience, because as others have mentioned it is overpriced. Mainly because the coffee was 'good' but not 'great' and the cakes tasted like cake from a box, despite being over $6 a slice, and cupcakes was 80% icing. All in all, would go again, especially since there's not much competition in the area. But wouldn't go here often if I was local.

I absolutely adore this little coffee shop and I am so glad that it opened in Amherstburg. I have not been there since the Stay at Home order but see that treats and coffee are available for carry out daily. Great place to grab a treat before heading to a bench to take in the beauty of the park and the serenity of the Detroit River. I bring all of my out of town guests here and look forward to doing so again in the future.

OMG! Stopped by to pick up a treat for a birthday "girl" to enjoy after lunch at Ricardos. Caramel Salt cheesecake (cupcake). In the business for over 40 years, this knocked it out of the Ballpark. Absolutely incredibly smooth, and the taste was even better (well, maybe) than the texture. Awesome job. We will eat more!

Caffeine & Co. is an over all well rounded cafe with great interior design, friendly young polite staff and fairly decent sized menu, on the other hand it has one weakness ( coffee ), if you are a above average coffee aficionado rectifying the basics of proper bean ratio, the right temperature, perfect amount of froth vs foam you will notice, that is what makes a perfect cup. Price $$$$

First of all the establishment does not have wheelchair access. In this day an age I'm shocked that this is allowed. So thankfully it was a nice day an my friend stayed outside while i went in to order. The decor is absoultly beautiful..coffee was ok..nothing special an pastries were average. For 2 small black coffees a small granola bite an macaroon my bill was 15$..a tad pricey when your friend cant even come inside .

I've been to this cafe multiple times and each time I am blown away by the atmosphere and the quality of their food and drinks. It was my Mom's birthday recently and I immediately thought of them for a cake. Every step of the process, from order to pick up was great. It was easy, I received fantastic customer service, and it was ready at the time I requested. As for the cake, it came packaged beautifully and my family all agreed it was the best cake all of us have ever had. Even my brother, who normally isn't very fond of the type of cake, ate two pieces. Amherstburg is extremely lucky to have this amazing spot in our town.

Am absolutely brilliant cafe. Fresh baked goods and delicious coffee. I went there on the day with my girlfriend and her mum, getting to enjoy some time with them both. The only disappointment was it was raining and were unable to walk the navy yard afterwards.

This would absolutely be a 5 if it wasn’t for the excessive wait times. Even pre-CoVID, there is never a sense of urgency when making the drinks. They either need to have a couple designated expert baristas or purchase another bar machine. Expect to wait on average 20-30 minutes for drinks, which is not ok. There is absolutely no enforcement of masking/social distancing which is concerning given the limited interior space. Food and baked goods are out of this world, but again, you’ll suffer the excruciating wait time because of the bar delay. Really a struggle to go back which makes us sad ????

Excellent cafe in a great location. Stopped Sunday for lunch and enjoyed sandwiches and iced coffee. The old building is beautiful and the atmosphere was nice. The location is also perfect for a walk along the river. It was quite busy but the service was surprisingly quick and we received our food and drinks in about 10min. The Paris sandwich was very good and does not skimp on the Brie like similar dishes at other restaurants but the real star was the veggie sandwich made with perfectly selected vegetables and spreads of the highest quality. The coffees were very good as well and hit the spot on a warm day. We did not try any pastry but it was so tempting I know we will be back. Prices are high and I was skeptical after getting the bill but once I tasted the food it was clear that there is considerable effort put into using only top quality ingredients so although I wouldn’t eat there every day, there was enough quality and selection to make repeat trips worth it.

Walking into this Cafe is an experience all on it's own, absolutely beautiful! The owners have spared no expense and have payed attention to detail. It is a very warm, bright, inviting and sophisticated environment. The selection of coffee choices are exactly what you would expect in a small cafe and are made with care and fresh beans and like most places, you add your own milk/sugar/sweetener at a separate counter. They have limited selections on their food menu, but the quality of the menu is superb. This goes for their delicious baked goods - that have a more mature taste, meaning they are not overly sweet. Staff is friendly an quick. We have ventured in quite a few times and it has been consistent in quality, service and ambiance. The price of goods is a little on the high end, but worth the visit.

Super cute inside, but not worth it. Both the coffee and the cappuccino were bitter and not very good. The lineup was long and service was slow. The desserts looked nice but for the price it is better to go elsewhere.

I tried going this morning for brunch and had a frustrating experience. I have been once or twice before and it was alright. The place is pretty but the prices are higher than all the bakeries in Windsor for product that isn't as good. There was dirty dishes on some empty tables and the line-up to wait for your order was messy and long. Their website is not updated at all to reflect their present menu. They have a menu posted on their website with a variety of brunch options so I figured why not make the trip from Walkerville. When we got there I was told that they are not serving that menu on their website and was pointed to a small 6 item chalkboard menu. On top of this they had ran out of salmon which was necessary to make my order and I wasn't told until after I had paid and waited for some time. We ended up going across the street for brunch.

Wow! Cosmopolitan chic in the heart of cozy Amherstburg. A bit pricier than some, but well worth the coin. Their Cubans are to die for, and their desserts will leave your mouth watering for more. Designer coffee, wonderful staff, the look of a Manhattan coffee house and the cleanliness you would expect of an A-list and very atmospheric afternoon away from it all. Next year they're promising an elevated patio adjacent the side of the building, which will overlook a breathtaking fountain courtyard. Support local and be very glad that you did. Another jewel added to this small town's crown.
