416 has become by far our favourite place in the Niagara Region to stop for coffee. We usually get a cappuccino or mocha (both delicious) but yesterday were served an excellent decaf cortado... perfect balance of espresso and milk... heaven. We've also tried their homemade syrups in lattes and cappuccinos... honey cinnamon, caramel and chocolate orange are all really good... and more to come. Right up there with the high quality coffee and barista creativity is the family-run atmosphere... informal, knowledgeable and always friendly. Definitely not to be missed.

I feel like a budding coffee connoisseur and this is the perfect place to learn more about brewing styles and select roasts from around the world! A knowledgeable owner who takes pride in his coffee and shares freely his enthusiasm. I love that the selection of coffee changes so i can sample new flavours from different parts of the world. I also love that it's a local business and they they roast here in St. Catharines too. I prefer 416 to any big coffee chains any day.

Every local coffee lover needs to check this place out! The store front is small and minimalist where the focus is on creating high quality, hand crafted espresso drinks. The single origin beans are roasted multiple times a week and sold fresh. Price is great compared to other single origin freshly roasted beans. The staff are incredible - very knowledgeable and friendly. The drinks are amazing. I've tried the flat white, iced coaco (an iced latte with rich chocolate compote made in house), and a pour over. All were expertly made and so delicious. We also really appreciated that they were dog friendly! This is a game changing addition to the St. Catharines coffee scene. They are bringing the quality and feel of a big city coffee shop to our area.

I usually just tell all my friends privately about a great experience I had but I truly felt compelled to share after my last visit to 416. I'll leave out the long winded story of exactly what happen (pretty much see attached pic lol) but essentially Alex and Julia (brother and sister) made my birthday very special without knowing it was my birthday. It's the type of customer service that is always desired by managers and customers alike without any hint of disingenuity. If you're reading this just go there and enjoy some good nicely caffeinated vibes :) P.S- If it's hot and you're in the mood for something iced get an espresso on ice with tonic(no dairy). Honestly the best coffee cocktail I've ever had Thanks guys, See you soon.

I stopped in for an americano and to "fill your own bag" with their rotating beans with a Guatemalan roast and will definitely be returning for more. Highly recommend!

416 is a coffee spot that everyone should know about! I have been here a couple times now and I have nothing but positive feedback from my experiences! Not only are the owners friendly, but highly knowledgeable about the products they offer. I picked myself up a bag of beans and a pour over kit... I’ve never had better coffee in my life. Would highly recommend to anyone to give them an opportunity to make you the best drink ever!

I first had this coffee at Bistro Mirepoix last Sunday & it was DELICIOUS. I've since visited the 416 Coffee shop in port twice this week, I had the College street & the next day tried the Haitian espresso with water, or something like that made into a coffee. I told the girl I wanted something Strong and bold and she hooked it up perfectly. I didn't think it would make sense or be good but it definitely was. I run off Caffeine and this def gives me that much needed fix ! Highly recommend this place if you actually enjoy Coffee.

Had heard great things and as a coffee lover made the trip down to Port Dalhousie to pick up beans for myself and for Christmas gifts. Had my 2 month old baby with me and even when I asked if she would, the barista refused to put on a mask. Bummer after an hour drive.

*EVERYTHING* about this little spot is great. First off, the coffee is exceptionally crafted (roasted and brewed) and so far I haven’t had a cup I didn’t thoroughly enjoy. They also carry a good selection of gear for the home barrista/coffee enthusiast. Perhaps most important though is the service - vibrant, knowledgeable staff, so respectful, and pleasant. I felt like I was visiting friends for a quick hello and cup of joe - unlike the robotically rigid, and general lack of humanity we’ve come to accept as the new normal from many other businesses. So go meet your new friends at 416 and enjoy your coffee-loving-life to it’s fullest.

I can safely say, without hesitation, that they roast and sell the best coffee bean offerings that I have had in my life! Carmine uses fair trade beans and his roasting brings out the nuances of each source that I never had the opportunity to appreciate before. I love GOOD coffee, 416 is GREAT coffee!
