Amazing restaurant, food and staff

Had breakfast and is was delicious ???? Eggs Benedict was a perfect balance of soft and crispy . I would recommend to anyone looking to have a great meal!

Had a very bad experience. Waited forever for drinks and the food. Appetizer was completely forgotten and when we asked for it we were told the kitchen was closed (even though it was an hour before closing time?) Food wasn’t terrible but my burger definitely tasted like it had been sitting for at least 10 minutes. Extremely disappointed.

I, as a very active critic, would say that the stone-fired, Sicilian style pies are the best pizza within the city limits of cranbrook. When we first went here it was immediately after opening and they were a little off. But in recent visits they have really dialed it in: Extremely modern, classy, romantic atmosphere. Nice cocktail menu. And finally figured out the pizza oven.

Excellent experience! Fine dining at the right price. Love what they've done with the interior, staff were polite. Food was spot on and bursting with flavor/texture. Only a handful of my favorite places compare in the big city and so glad to have this here in Cranbrook!

Went for brunch this morning and it was delicious! The atmosphere was great as well. They've done a fantastic job, with the space. Very clean and very well thought out. Ordered the salmon eggs benedict and the hollandaise sauce was perfect. It had a small amount of heat to it, which I really enjoyed. The sausage links were much larger than most places. Food took a bit long to come out, but it was definitely worth it. The prices were also fantastic for what you get. I'll definitely be coming back for their full menu.

My husband took me here for my birthday dinner. We were so impressed with the atmosphere and the food! Best spinach and artichoke dip I’ve ever tasted! Loved the food and service! We will definitely be going back again!

Great food Great price, my steak was perfectly done. The restaurant was busy so make a reservation for the evening, Not entirely clear what the décor is supposed to represent but it did look nice. They followed good Covid rules and social distancing there were a lot less tables in the restaurant. The only issue I had was it smelled a bit too much of wood smoke but it is called Fire & Oak.

This was our first visit to Fire & Oak and our meal was breakfast. We were welcomed and attended to in a timely manner. Our waitress was courteous but focused on her job which we appreciated. Our entree's were well prepared and presented, my ham and cheese omelette was light and fluffy. Prices were in line as well, we will return!

Stopped by for breakfast on our ride through the area. Picked the spot randomly and was very pleased! The server was super friendly (and a fellow rider). Our breakfasts were delicious! I had the smoked salmon Benny which was everything I look for in a breakfast! My husband enjoyed his skillet as well. Quite happy we stopped here!

Absolutely amazing pizza!!! Beautiful atmosphere, wonderful service. We had Tamara as our server and by far she was one of the best servers we have ever had anywhere. She went above and beyond to provide outstanding customer service. If you're in the Cranbrook area I highly recommend that you treat yourself and stop by Fire Oak

Tuesday, October 29th, 2019 - My wife and I shared the Antipasto Platter, Wild Mushroom Pizza, and Smoked Salmon Pizza (pizzas are 12" in diameter). We also ordered two drinks, a Blackberry Mojito and a Monte Cristo. Overall, the meal was fair. Here are my only criticisms: - The service was slow, it took 41 minutes between receiving our appetizer and our pizzas. - Our waiter was overwhelmed. - The Smoked Salmon Pizza could probably benefit from a wedge or two of lemon. This is because the cheese, salmon, capers, and pizza dough are all collectively very salty/fatty. The ambiance and look of the restaurant was nice, but we left the restaurant feeling that we could have made something similar at home.

Beautiful place! Well done on the design. Food is up scale with better quality ingredients. The pasta was had good flavor and the pizza was nicely seasoned.

This was my second visit and the food did not disappoint. Had the tuna tataki and the spinach dip - both were amazing. My husband had the smoked salmon and pesto fettuccine which was also fantastic. The service was not bad but it was definitely lacking. Wait time for food was also quite minimal which was nice. We will definitely be back!

Really nice mid sized restaurant in Cranbrook. Tried to find a few nice dining opinions in Kimberly but were unable to get a reservation, decited to come here. We enjoyed our food. We ordered mussels, the tiger shrimp skillet and the 8oz steak. Would return.

Fantastic meal! Best food I've had in the Kootenays. Ceasar salad was fresh and tasty flavours. We had gnochi and the salmon pesto and they were both excellent. The pizza dough bread on the side was a nice touch. Our server was also lovely and prompt. Super date night, will be back to try other menu items.

Beautiful, bright, warm decor. Friendly staff. Service was a little slow/disorganized, as to be expected for a new restaurant. Waiter was kind and professional. Once the place gets over the initial hiccups, it's going to be amazing. Food was EXCELLENT! I'll be back! :)

Passing through Cranbrook on Friday evening on our way back to Calgary, we were looking for a nice dinner spot. Checked out the menu for Fire & Oak and the reviews were great so we decided to go there. Trey was our server and he was excellent! The food did not disappoint either. We went back Saturday morning for breakfast before hitting the highway for the trek home. Breakfast was fantastic as well. Thanks Fire & Oak!

Second time. First was a bust with poor service, but to be fair it was very newly opened. 5 months later same server and same service. Pasta was good pizza taste was good but soggy. All pizzas were drenched with oil.

Very friendly service & a lovely relaxed quiet setting. Freshly made hot & deliciously flavoured food (also gluten free options and staff were so kind to do some subs for specific diets as well!) Clean, high end venue with lots of natural light and comfy seats. Fine dining where you can dress casual - servers are in jeans! :) Food & wine choice was just excellent. Mmmm! And it looks like their patio furniture just arrived! Highly reccommend this place & I will be back.

I really like the menu here! A good variety of items, there is something for everyone! Most are great, some are good hence the 4 stars. If I could do halves I would go with 4.5! The service is good and so is the vibe. I recommend it!

I went here for my Birthday for steak dinner, they treated me really really great!!! the Filet mignon was fantastic and so was the service!! Great place, going back for sure!
