Went for breakfast there. Crazy expensive for being breakfast . Really good service tho. The lady couldn’t of have been nicer. Cost $92.66 for my wife and I plus 3 children under 7 . 2 pancakes and a drink were $15 and and if you want bacon on the side it’s $4 for 2 pieces.????. Can’t afford that twice. Over All it was good.

Amazing!!! On the rare occasions the food is off (and even so, still my favourite food around) the pleasant and welcoming staff and atmosphere make it worth coming. They treat you like family here.

Located inside the Best Western hotel in Cranbrook, BC, Ellas is a Jamaican restaurant with some pretty good menu options. I tried the Irie omelette and the sunrise bowl, both were great breakfast options. The restaurant can get busy at meal times for good reason. There is indoor and outdoor seating and service is friendly. Definitely recommend Ella’s if you are visiting Cranbrook.

This was my first time coming and I wasn’t sure what to expect but it turned out amazing. For the appetizer I got the poutine and WOW! It was the best poutine I’ve ever tried. For the main course I had the burger and it was delicious! The burger was very juicy and felt like an explosion of flavour when you bit into it. The fries that came with the burger were very tasty and perfectly cooked. The service was great too, quite friendly staff. Definitely a 10/10, going to go again!

What a great spot. I came here for breakfast and would love to go back. I had the Marley pancakes with a side of jerk pork. Worth every penny. The jerk pork was super flavorful the pancakes had just the right amount of cinnamon. I wish i had a picture to share with Y'all. But check out some of the photos other users have posted for breakfast. Even other items look delicious!!

I have almost exclusively ordered take out from Ella’s since discovering it a month or two ago. The jerk chicken is fall off the bone, the fried chicken is the most glorious, crispy thing I’ve ever had, the plantains are a perfect desert, and the rice and beans aren’t rice and beans they’re pure magic. Also highly recommend the yam fries. The portions are HUGE. This is authentic comfort food that may just bring a tear to your eye. I don’t usually write reviews like this, but I think I’m in love.

Fantastic breakfast. The Irie Omelette is full of deliciousness: light on egg and heavy on the good stuff. I add the Jerk Pork and it brought the heat! The boy had Banana Bread French Toast and it is his new favourite ever. We were served by the owner and she could not be friendlier! Highly recommended.

Just went for the burger of the month last night. It was fantastic. The plantains on the burger were nothing like I've experienced before, however the burger came together nicely. The noise was a little loud in there but it was still a fun upbeat atmosphere. Staff were super nice and the fries were amazing. This place is a nice change of pace for Cranbrook so go check it out.

After driving for several hours I found what only can be described as an oasis of culinary excellence, incredible food with beautiful presentation and wonderful service! The owners are incredible, their staff is awesome and attentive! If you haven’t tried this restaurant you don’t know what you are missing! Every dish is lovingly prepared and incredibly flavourful, the restaurant is comfortable and nicely furnished with lots of deck space, get here early though because this place is super popular probably because the food is off the charts! The service provided by Ella and Aurora is first class, this is now my favourite restaurant ever!!!

The wait for the food was too long - 1 hour! It got more annoying when the people who came after us were served earlier and finished eating before we got food!!! Eggs Benedict were so dry, when we asked them to be soft... Really bad experience, the delays messed up our plans... Such a waste of time, sorry but we're done with this place.

We’ve eaten at Ellas a few times now. The food is phenomenal!! Highly recommend the tacos, and the fried chicken dinner as well. You won’t be disappointed! The only thing I would recommend is a heads up on the $10 delivery charge.

Ate here tonight for the first time, food was excellent!! I had the jerk chicken tacos and my husband had the special, pan fried escovitch fish, both were fantastic, very filling and good sized portions. We will be back for sure!

The food itself was excellent! i had the oxtail and would 100% recommend. however the prices are a bit much. and $13 for a cocktail can really hurt, even if it is absolutely delicious. I i defiantly would want to come back for the food but would not do so often due to the cost.

Grabbed takeout from here tonight. We went for the Jerk Chicken, Rice and Peas, Fried Plantains, Codfish Fritters, Jerk Chicken Poutine, Wings and Mac & Cheese, and Beef Patties. Everything was excellent, and we really enjoyed it. So tasty and comfort food-y. Nice level of spice, though.we wished the patties were spicy. All in all, it was a fabulous meal, and we will be back.
