The food was delicious. Definitely a nice surprise, as we had no idea what to expect going in there. Unfortunately, we ordered coffee to go and when we tried the coffee in the car on our way back to Victoria, we simply could not drink it. It was terrible. Not sure what happened, as we had high hopes after the food.

Breakfasts at Rhodos are delicious. They're very aware of food allergies and sensitivites and gluten free options for the breakfast menu are diverse, divine, and creative. I go out of my way for their massive gluten free peanut butter cookies! Great vibe, cool interior, nice loose leaf tea selection.

The food is great and so is the service. Most of the menu has gluten free options. Coffee is roasted on location and available for customers to purchase and take home. Great place for weekend brunch!

When here for breakfast and another time just for coffee and both times it was good and staff where pleasant. They have a variety of it’s that a normal coffee place would plus some items a regular restaurant would have. Good place to stop by for a coffee and a snack.

Wow, what a great breakfast! We were visiting Courtenay and I have a thing for trying out little coffee shops/bistros for brunch. We heard that the Benny's here were the best in town and I can definitely agree with that. The hollandaise sauce was top notch and they were generous with it. My husband had a traditional breakfast and loved it as well. The eggs were perfect and the hash browns/fried potatoes were amazing. The atmosphere was welcoming and cozy while still having ample space for patrons. Staff were friendly and efficient as well. We had a snow storm the night before and a lot of places were closed so I'm glad we had a chance to come here. Will definitely come back when we visit again.

We came here twice within a 4 day period while up in Courtenay. The staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. And the FOOD!!!! Was delicious. I had the pulled pork skillet both times. My hubby had the breakfast sandwich and then an eggnog french toast. 10/10. Thanks a bunch!

Wow!! The place was closed...but when I knocked on the door and asked to use the facilitates I was welcomed in...I asked if he could brew me a cappuccino...and what a nice surprise to have someone say YES!! I've been drinking their cappuccinos for 16 years...in fact, this is where I first got started with my cappuccino drinking odyssey. I'm now on my third or maybe fourth owner group...but it's still amazing coffee!! Thanks : ) A.

Amazing breakfasts, friendly staff and an extensive coffee/drink menu. Delicious Vegetarian options and the Benny's are drool worthy. Grab a "Coco-Nutty" Latte and a Pulled Pork Skillet for a big boost to get you through the day... Or set you up for a great "I'm stuffed" nap ;)

Oh my god! The food here is so good! Today I had their Comox Benny(lox and capers)it's perfectly seasoned. A real west coast classic. Had their London fog (steamed earl gray tea) to drink. So much fog! ???? very tasty The owners are an absolutely delightful couple who are incredibly friendly. Staff are kind as well ???? Atmosphere is nice, lots of natural light but not too bright. Beautiful art from local artists cover the walls. 100% going here for all my eggs Benny needs. P.S. They are going to add waffles soon!

We ordered avocado bacon eggs benedict and Montreal skillet with drip coffee. The food tastes were great and very nice atmosphere. Toasts came with jam on a side, I forgot to ask it’s flavour (probably raspberry??), but it was very tasty, not too sweet and sour. I think it was locally made jam (not like jams you get at big chain grocery stores). Every servers were very friendly. We enjoyed having our brunch here. No wonder why everyone left good reviews for this restaurant!

I had the Rhodos Rancheros breakfast with a side of chorizo sausage. It is a gluten free breakfast with a black bean and zucchini patty instead of bread, with two poached eggs and a slightly spicy chipotle hollandaise. I can say it was honestly the best breakfast I've ever had, it was so incredibly delicious! The patty was so flavorful, eggs were poached perfectly and the hashbrowns were crispy. The hollandaise was flavorful and smooth, and my matcha latte was excellent. The team worked smoothly together in this beautiful atmosphere, and provided thoughtful and happy service. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and as someone who can't have gluten I was so excited to see something new and different, and not have to eat a gross gluten free bun. Amazing place and would highly recommend to anyone looking for great food, drink, service and ambiance!!

First visit to this incredible restaurant. Friendly welcome the moment we walked in and seated quickly. Food was delicious (Had the Avocado Bacon Benny and pancakes). Hands down some of the best candied bacon I've tasted and the spuds on the side were crispy on the outside, soft in the middle and full of flavor. Owners both made a point of visiting the table to say hello and provided a fantastic atmosphere to enjoy a nice coffee and meal. We will definitely be going back.

Stopped for breakfast this morning after getting off the ferry from Powell River. The coffee was great and the food fantastic. If you're in the Courtenay area and looking for breakfast I highly recommend this spot.

Rhodos Coffee & Bistro is a grand place to get coffee. Came in with my sister and Grandma and they did not disappoint. The Crepes were amazing, they make a fantastic Chai Tea Latte. If you have yourself a lazy sunday a highly recommend Rhodos.

We went for lunch but it turns out on the weekends they only do brunch, and by that they mean breakfast. They did have a kids menu with lunch items on it that they would serve, so I am confused as to why they couldn’t do lunch for everyone. I had a version of eggs Benedict that was extremely well done and tasty. The food was enjoyed by all five at my table. The service. Well it seems we should have been honoured to eat there as the staff seems to put off a rude and entitled vibe. I was not impressed with the service.

Such a great first impression when you walk in the doors. Greeted with smiling faces who take the time to let you know specials of the day and offer advice/personal experience for anyone who’s there for their first time. Amazing selection of caffeinated beverages (hot & cold) and food, and all very reasonably priced for the quality and sheer amount of food you receive. The owners Shannon and Dale have quite the establishment! 5 stars simply isn’t enough. I’ll certainly be going back!

Decided to try the Gluten free options as wife is celiac 2 orders of classic benny, ultimate breakfast sandwich and the pulled pork skillet INSANE VALUE and great flavours, if you're looking for Gluten free options and/or just great take away or sit in breakfast; this is place for you. Also the caramel macchiato is better than Starbucks'

Amazing breakfast - might just be my new favorite breakfast place. Superb Eggs Benny selection with some unique flavorful combinations. Plus there was no waiting for seating. Atmosphere is clean, casual, spacious & friendly. Service was excellent. Definitely intend on being a repeat customer. Oh! the breakfast sausages were outstanding.

Stopped with a friend for a quick bowl of soup. Had only been here before for breakfast which was very good, pan fried potatoes that were actually edible. Service was slow, but, hey COVID. Mulligatawney was spot on and the seafood chowder was one of the best in the valley. I also bought 5 lbs of their excellent coffee blend, 'Afternoon Delight ', roasted in-house. A 5 ???? might be a bit high but can't give a 4 1/2 star .

Brunch is a great time to be there. My wife got a traditional omelette, and the flavours and freshness were there. I got a chicken sandwich, where the chicken is rubbed in coffee. Yum. well-done!! and the bread they use is fresh soft and fluffy. They also have an area for just coffee, wifi and working.

I have been coming here for years, used to be amazing. I used to go twice a week if not more, my family's favorite spot. I went to have breakfast this am with my partner. The restaurant almost empty only to be told we may have to be moved mid meal if it gets busy as there was only two of us. We had wanted to sit outside and not in the sun, unfortunately the only two person seat was in the sun. The server was a new girl and clearly is new to the serving industry and lacks service skills significantly. I have been in the industry for years serving before I became a nurse , I.E manage a bar. Your current manager is great but I have been so put off by today's experience, I dont really want to return with my family and friends. I had requested an outside table, there were tables of four. When there was no body else there. My family and friends won't be dining here anymore.

Oh my goodness colour me impressed!!! I am such a picky eater and am always complaining that the food I get at most restaurants isn't worth the price. Today was the first time my husband and I ate at Rhodos and we were both astounded by how delicious the food was! The service was friendly, the atmosphere perfect for our late morning brunch, they had the best caramel macchiato and the bennys we both got were superb! They had a fantastic variety of gluten free and dairy free options for my sensitive stomach too! We will definitely be back many more times!

Friendly people, great coffee. I sat in a booth at the back with my friends and their baby. They offered us a baby seat if we needed it, and offered extra service when they were less busy. The bathrooms don't have a baby changing station, but that might be the only down side. I recommend this Cafe in the Comox Valley.

The best dining experience I've had in the Comox valley. I had the west coast bagel and was very impressed by how lovingly it was made and the quality of the ingredients and presentation. The decor is warm and comfortable, perfect for a family gathering. Besides the great food, great coffee and cozy atmosphere, the highlight of this place is the happy, helpful and attentive staff.
