What kind of premium coffee roaster doesn't include roasting dates on their bags? Sorry, but that's unacceptable. I'm not paying those prices for coffee without a roast date.... Staff was very unhelpful with the roast dates. Otherwise beautiful space, much better ambiance and better baristas than the Vancouver locations. Update: I appreciate the personal follow up, and you're right this review was harsh for something that is out of your control. I will stand by my opinion that dates are important, yes and consumers deserve to be guaranteed freshness when paying premium prices.

I'm editing this review to be more concise since it's original content has been perceived as more negative than informative. Nice atmosphere. Popular. Bike friendly. I like everything about this place, however the coffee requires getting used to. It's different. The dark roast has a pronounced aftertaste that lingers. Many people love it, and having never been west of Verona or north of Pisa, I cannot speak to it's authenticity. Coffee from the Comox outlet a couple of years ago was similar so there is consistency, which is important. The owner has suggested that a medium roast would probably suit my taste better, so keep that in mind when you visit. I know I will. Because of it's near-perfect location next to the hospital I am certain I will have the chance to give them another go.

Come here to be elevated by a delicious "pick me up" drink in the morning or that later in the day much needed Zing, also nice freshly made baked goods. It would be difficult to ask for anything more, here in one of Milano's finest, a spacious clean industrial yet minimalist interior. Their knowledgeable and experienced services will be difficult to compare. The epitome of satisfaction will find you here.

Ever since I moved down the street a few months ago, I've been coming here several times a week. I love the treats and the coffee is fantastic. It also has such a nice energy in the whole place. The simple decor makes it a really nice atmosphere. The staff seem really happy there and they are always super nice and helpful! So glad you are right down the street!
