Milano Comox is in a class all on its own. Not only is it the absolute best coffee, the staff, the food and the atmosphere are second to none. Parking can be a challenge when busy and for the small building that it is music can be a bit loud at times all those it is a softer genre they usually play. All in all a lovely place to sit and look at all the cool art they have for sale

Rude staff.i had heard so much about this place I had to go in and wished I hadn't. I ordered chau tea and got hot water with cinnamon. And the lady behind the counter only wanted to chat with the regulars and made us wait almost 10 mins while she chatted. Dont go there

Superb local coffee shop with a small but mighty selection of breakfast/lunch/pastry options. They have an emphasis on local, and make delicious in-house almond milk! The flat white is creamy and delicious, the yogurt parfait hits the spot and the breakfast cookie gives some solid energy for the day. Cute indoor seating, but grab a spot out back and enjoy the fresh air!

“Wow, Absolutely magnificent.” Those are the words I said when I sipped my creamy iced matcha. Everything about the drink itself made my day get a little bit better!! Not just the drink was lovely, but the whole cafe. You could tell the place was neatly decorated. I loved the plants, the art and the little homey touches. The staff was absolutely lovely. Oh, and don’t get me started on the food and goodies, very yummy in da tummy. I was also very proud that they served vegan and vegetarian items. By the end of my visit I was touched. I knew I would never find such a welcoming and delightful place ever again.

It's pretty much guaranteed if I am in need of a coffee and a place to sit and work for a few hours, you can find me at Milanos! The staff are always so friendly and my latte is always perfect every time. I was so happy to see them open back up with the new social distancing measures in place. They have done an amazing job of making it feel safe so we all can go by to grab our drinks and see their friendly faces which is much needed in these times!

I am in the Valley visiting friends and family for the Holidays. I am from New York, but have been coming here for years. All I can say is that Comox is very lucky to have Milano here. I had the best latte of my life, and then tried straight espresso, it was amazing and so smooth. The cafe itself is so beautiful and clean. The baristas were all so friendly and professional. Better than anything we have in all of New York that's for sure. Big big love!!

this coffee shop is so amazing it made me spit out my half calf large soy milk coffee with hazelnut cream 7 1/2 americano shots 1/4 tsp matcha powder 4 scoops of decaf light ice topped with whipped cream chocolate sauce and a cherry. Milano has good seating free tasty water nice staff and good drinks/food i recommend the turkachino im not sure why its called that because there are no turkeys in it the iced lattes with caramel are great too. the only problem i have with milano is that they dont have coconut milk

Nice & clean, great friendly staff they had time to chat so we learned about Milano and then went home to check out on web. Surprisingly my first time today. Met the owner Robin. I want to say that the experience is well worth the wait for parking. Great atmosphere, The Stove Top Coffee is roasted to the absolute best. The Ladies behind making the coffees did a great job with the latte art. All around great place. Come by and grab a super tastey locally owned and operated coffee shop. (Cheaper Than Starbucks) And much better quality.

Just dropped in while in town. Ordered 4 teas and asked for a couple of sandwiches. One of the ladies informed us that they had run out of sandwiches for the day. The other lady offered to make us up sandwiches if we weren't in a rush. Glad we weren't in a rush because they were soooo good! Thank you for the teas and sandwiches ladies! Milano cafe has the best coffee in the Comox valley & It's worth driving out of your way. This shop is passionate about everything they do. Quality coffee, home made almond milk, in-house paninis and locally baked treats. Exceptional staff & the cafe has a bright, modern layout with great Wi-Fi. If it's a nice day there is an outside patio table in the back and a few seats on the deck out front.

Great coffee shop. Their pastry variety always surprises me. The coffee if fantastic, I drink my pour over black and have never felt the need to add anything to balance the flavours. The staff is always friendly. This place either has a couple of clients or is bursting at the seams. Never stopped me from getting in and out in a reasonable time though.

To give this place any less than five stars because their free Internet was not working or because you perceived you had to pay an arm and a leg for a milk alternative is a grave injustice. Comox is lucky to have this great boutique espresso bar. It is about the ambiance and the fine coffee.

The absolute best cafe, amazing staff and service everytime! They know how to make someone feel welcomed. The owners get along amazingly with their staff and it shows. The coffee is consistently good, and all the barista are happy to answer any question about the coffee world. They have a large selection of gluten free, vegan, baked deserts and snacks! Milano coffee is a wonder drug. Rich, dark and dripping with varieties of roasts. Few bars offer as many beer on tap and it creates a real continuity from the night before. Milano Coffee is the new hops. With quality control and technical execution this high there should be a School of Coffee Engineering with Milano as the Dean. Oh, and proper recognition must be extended to the warm environment, the staff, and Vicki and Robin. Real salt of the earth types.

Wow, this little gem of a locally owned coffee shop serves top grade coffee, with care and grace. Great for coffee connoisseurs and if you're particular about how you want your cup. I had their Stove Top coffee; their almond milk is made in house and it's fantastic. A bit of background courtesy of my Comox friends who introduced me: they are family owned, have their own roastery in Vancouver, and have three or four locations, this being one.

I've been to Milano at least a dozen times since it opened in May. Great people, great coffee. The treats are yummy, oh so very yummy! And then today I had my first ooey gooey sandwhich for lunch, soooo tasty (Eek, so much for cutting down on my bread consumption). Nice and bright inside, and a lovely table outside on the back lawn. Oh yeah, and free WIFI,... I saw a girl on a video call with a friend abroad the other day, cute! Thank you Vickie & Robin for creating a lovely space to sip coffee and eat delicious food.

Milano is a great coffee shop with a European feel and decor. They have really friendly staff who know the difference between latte and cappuccino. The coffee was good and the breakfast panini was also excellent. It astounds me that anyone would go to Starbucks when there is such a great, locally owned place in the neighborhood.
