Breakfast food was just OK. Waitress seemed to have no idea what a keto diet or carbs were. My wife's request for cheesy scrambled eggs resulted in an inedible yellow chunk of Goodyear rubber. Go to Early Bird instead. Happy place and much better food.

I ate here a couple years ago and ordered the borscht. Growing up in a small Russian town, my sister and I know what good borcht is. This was not borscht. It was bland beet soup at best. I havent gone back until today... honestly walked into the place by mistake. Got it mixed for the bayside cafe but thought about eating there anyway, until the waitress treated me like a sewer rat. She was short, unfriendly and scowled at me as she spoke. I'm shy, and soft spoken but she literally shot me a dirty glare, shook her head at me and said "I can't hear a word you're saying" and just walked away as I stood at the til. Didn't even offer me a table. I felt embarrassed just for trying to get a table to study at. I dont know if they're going for the Seinfeld Soup Nazzi thing or what (I can't hear what you're saying, NO SOUP FOR YOU!) Either way, I'm not going back to fund out.

Went for breakfast. Just average, sausages just warm, bacon very very crispy (brittle), cube hash brown, lots of dark burnt spots, potatoes very dry. So everything over cooked for a bit Coffee yuk, like it had been in the pot for awhile. Toast not toasted enough, bread still soft. Just 1 choice for jam and it has seeds. Easy parking.

Great and varied menu. Delicious, especially their eggs benny. They make their own sauce from scratch. Don't want a benny? There's loads more on the menu -- all good!

We were immediately greeted by a waitress who was too busy with her phone to help us. Once seated, we waited probably 10 minutes to be served anything other than drinks - we were both clearly ready to order. After a half hour of waiting for our food, we were brought cold sandwiches and tasteless soup. It was disappointing.

My wife and I went for a late breakfast. Food was fantastic! However, the service was subpar. The waitress (older, short 'buzzed' hair) made the whole experience feel awkward. As we left, we were both wondering if other Google reviewers had thought the same thing. Yep! Probably won't be back.

Went for lunch today, the burger was tasty. Too bad the waitress left a sour taste in our mouths. Won't be back as long as she is there. Seemed like she had a chip on her shoulder right from the time we sat down till we left. Very short, unhelpful answers to any of our questions. When we paid she basically threw our change at us. Just rude all around.

GET READY FOR REAL RUDE SERVICE Don't get me wrong....the food is good and fairly big portions but there is something wrong with the waitress with short grey hair. A very rude demeanor towards not just me but to the other customers aswell. Very uncomfortable sitting. She has lost her passion which I dont think she had anyway . Time to get some new energy in there ...like younger people that are not angry at everyone yet because of where they are in life. Put a smile on your face and make the people that come to you restuarant feel like you want them there......that is your job.

The food was actually very delicious, but the SERVICE was just downright awful. The server (older, short hair) handed ny 2 year old crayons and under her breath had said "Oh my wall..." when she saw that she had done a little scribble. It's not like we were letting her draw on it, she's still learning. I managed to scrub it off fairly quickly with a baby wipe and mentioned it to her and she responsed "Oh yeah, they are freshly painted" as if it was justifying her response. She was pushy and a snappy when I didn't hear her to first time asking me if I would like jam. When we paid she had said under her breath "and don't come back." Hey, don't worry about that, we certainly will not be coming back to your unwelcoming service...

My two friends and I went to lunch at the Beachwood Cafe yesterday Jan 21 2020. We had an amazing lunch with great service. I had a really good Veggie Casadia (sp), my friend had the Ukrainian Special and the other a huge Chicken sandwich. The fries were great and my friend loved the borsch Three thumbs up. We'd definitely go again.

Worst service I’ve ever experienced in my entire life, the waitress was so rude we were afraid to ask for anything! She forgot part of my breakfast right off the hope so I said when you get a chance could I get the rest of my order she said I forgot then we waited a half hour and it still didn’t come so we got our bill and left! Maybe she was having an off day but 70 dollars for sub par food and not a complete order plus a rude, off putting waitress is just not a good time!

My all time favourite breakfast joint in all the valley. he specials are fresh and delicious for a great price. After a decade of coming here, I have yet to know the owner's name though we recognize each other every time I walk in. He's friendly and one of the best servers I've ever met. Great food, good prices, fast service. Everything you want from a diner.

Best breakfast in town, and my go-to for brunch. If you can't handle diner style staff, don't come. They always remind me of being in an Irving on the East Coast. My recommendation? Monte Cristo. It's to die for.

Breakfast buffs, here breakfast is served all day. Included on the menu is delicious homemade cabbage rolls & perogies. The servings are extremely generous, make sure you are hungry. Convenient location, beachy decor, friendly service, good & plentiful portions, make this a popular place for both tourist & locals alike.

Pretty terrible service, the old lady was very snippy and rude. The food made me feel ill and gross while eating it. I saw her tell an African American man at the door that they were closed 2 hours before closing. Then proceeded to let a white couple in 10 minutes after. She never checked on us to refill drinks and the food took over an hour to get to us. The decor also felt cheap. They had like those temporary folding tables with the plastic chairs. Won’t be coming back, I don’t recommend you giving it a chance.

Great food very poor service. The server wasn't openly hostile but she did not want to be there that's for sure and she didn't seem to care if we were there either. I don't need a chatty server or anything but I do need cutlery and some service. Great food though, nice decor.
