I love it! It is one of my favorite, if not the favorite, spot(s)! I just love being there, but I can’t explain why. I’ve been there several times with some of my friends. My high school friend and I even used to study there when we hopelessly needed to do well on an exam and we always ended up doing well! It’s such a lucky place for me with so many good memories. The things they serve taste great too. I am usually not a big fan of eggs, but their egg and cheese sandwich is amazing and always makes me want to come back for more! Beware though: if you don’t pay, you don’t stay. In other words, unless you plan to buy something, don’t go in because they’re not afraid to kick you out. Oh my goodness, I almost forgot. They have a points card and application. Buy, gain points and earn rewards! Every one dollar gives you 10 points and every 500 points give you a reward. Unfortunately, I haven’t reached my first reward yet because I found out about the app too late. I do hope it’s good though. Note: I do wish there is wifi in the back area with the glass facade.

The lady that served us was very rude, the coffee was stale! I got food poisoning and the cake slice we got was hard as a rock with a bitter after taste. Needless, to say but we will defintely not be going back. (At least not during aforementioned person's shift) Note to management: Train your staff to treat customers with greater respect and smile! Doesn't cost anything and makes all the difference in the world. Side note ???? this lady(teenager/early 20s was not even in uniform no apron) wanted us out of the store so she could finish talking on her phone, it was very unprofessional. Please ensure you keep up to normal health standards. I actually kept part of my drink to report it to health Canada, but then thought maybe give your store one more try after the whole covid 19 business; hopefully your standards will improve.

They have horrible customer service and a terrible business owner who lacks in professionalism. I just wanted to pay my drink and get coffee beans with my over 1500 points rewards card. In the end, they made a mistake which they never apologized. There are few things I look for in a chain coffee shop, but among them are cleanliness, temperature control, good Wi-Fi. This Second Cup location routinely fails on all three counts. The seating area is large and extends far back from the cash so that the tables are not bussed frequently enough, especially at night; the front area is often too hot while the back, skylit area is often too cold (especially in the winter, but the air conditioning is also weirdly powerful here); and, most distressingly, the Wi-Fi routinely slows to a crawl. I always regret my visit to this place, and have no idea why I keep coming back.

I gave 2 stars because the barista/cashier is very nice and does his best to serve customers. I came around midnight on Friday, There were 5 customers in front on me, 3 left because of the wait, it took 20 minutes to get 2 lates and a strawberry dream frocho. This is to the owner, during the 20 minutes I was waiting, I saw 3 customers walking out, by cutting on labor, you are losing sales and you are loosing customers that will not come back. Although they have a nice room to stay for study, they charge fees for hot water even though you buy a lot of other stuff, and wifi takes forever to connect. Great place to study alone or in groups. There are a lot of seats and charging outlets. And I love that they have a solarium at the back. It’s really pretty and looks cozy, especially when it’s raining. My only complaint is that their wifi is really slow. Like sometimes it won’t even appear on the list. This place is not accessible to wheelchairs and strollers. But they have a terrace which is great. I always get the best service from the staff.

Therefore, I will now go to other cafes to prevent another employee from making me lose more points because he has not received adequate training. Bref, à part quelques employés de longue date, le roulement est très important et il y a régulièrement des nouveaux employés qui font des erreurs ce qui rend le service assez désagréable et ce n'est pas la première erreur commis par un employé à ce second cup. Par conséquent, je vais dorénavant aller à d'autres cafés pour éviter qu'un autre employé me fasse perdre encore des points car il n'a pas suivi une formation adéquate.
