Been here several times for breakfast and the food is great! The serving staff however need some work. Our food is normally slow to arrive and someone always end up eating alone. Coffee is not refilled unless asked and they seem to forget orders.

Nice cozy restaurant. Went there hoping for a decent coffee. It's more if a restaurant than a Coffee shop. No specialty type coffees available, just the norm. A bit disappointing. Should have gone 30 more steps to the left of the building where they were offering a better assortment of coffee. Our error if choice. Nothing to do with their service

Absolute best breakfast I've had in 27 years, eggs were perfect over easy so I can dip my toast (not overcooked but not slimy), bacon was excactly how I wanted it (slightly crispy), home fries are amazing fried slightly then grilled with onions, and the toast omg..never thought I would talk about toast in a review, they must have that toaster set down to the decimal point because it's always perfect. 10 stars if I could choose that. Make sure you give this place a good tip so they know they are doing the right stuff. This will be my new everyday breakfast place, my daughter absolutely loves it as well and she is super picky being an autistic child.

Cute local diner with counter and table seating. Great breakfast (perfect bacon) and a full menu. Service was a little slow because of the holiday but we didn't mind walking to the counter for a refill because the staff was very friendly. Our "busboy," Todd, was adorable. Highly recommend this restaurant.

We decided to stop here while staying in the area based on the good reviews and a few photos of tasty looking breakfast. While the food was pretty good and cooked well and our server was very nice, we just couldn’t get over how dirty everything was… We first noticed the super crusty condiments, next we were delivered chipped and stained mugs (the one with the interior stains could be scratched off with some effort… I couldn’t bring myself to use it and asked for another) and a crusty milk jug with chunks of semi dried milk on the rim. We then tried to use the sugar that was cemented inside the container. It was pretty obvious nothing in the way of condiments or menus were being sanitized between customers either (pre pandemic no biggie but I feel it’s standard practice now). The women’s bathroom smelled like musty towels that were left wet for a week and the air in the restaurant is overwhelmingly musty… I just feel a little ill thinking about eating there again. At least our server was great!

Found this lil gem while traveling through Wheatley around lunchtime. Was surprised to see Perch at a "coffee shop" but it's so much more. D E L I C I O U S Perch. The coleslaw wasn't my fave but the cream of chicken soup more than made up for it. Thanks Lil Hills for the great lunch.
