I dropped into Cafe Saint-Henri for a coffee and to kill a little bit of time before local attractions opened, and ended up being tempted with something to eat as well. The clean lines of the design have a Scandinavian feel; with the seating including a combination of benches facing out to the street (largely filled by people making use of the wifi and tapping away at their computers) and more social, perhaps what you would call communal tables through the middle. Nice vibe, solid wifi, tasty snack, quality coffee, although speed of service was a little non-plussed (but granted this was not a huge issue for me on this visit, as I was in no rush).

He answers me with disdain, almost calling me a liar and says "sorry" to me. No commercial gesture, nothing at all. Recap: I paid $ 7 for 2 donuts that I couldn't eat when it wasn't my fault, with no apologies. I ABSOLUTELY do not recommend this cafe !! (Original) Une honte!! Il m'indique une autre variété de beigne en m'assurant qu'il n'y a pas de cannelle. Il me fait payer cette beigne alors que je n'ai pas mangé l'autre puisque j'y suis allergique! C'est le pompon : il y avait de la cannelle dans la deuxième qu'il m'avait recommandé!!! Commencant à avoir des symptômes de mon allergie, je retourne voir le serveur en lui indiquant qu'il y en a. Il me répond avec dédain en me traitant presque de menteuse et me dit "désolé". Aucun geste commercial, rien du tout. Récapitulatif : j'ai payé 7$ pour 2 beignes que je n'ai pas pu manger alors que ce n'est pas ma faute, sans aucunes excuses. Je ne recommande ABSOLUMENT pas ce café!!

This coffee shop a suggestion in the Th3rd Wave app and I was definitely not disappointed! The london fog with coconut milk was delicious. The barista is super friendly and have a lot of skill, you'll more likely to have a swan in you latte that the traditional heart! Beautiful little spot, but let’s be honest, I came for the donuts! I was quite impressed; there was a larger array of options than you normally see which is amazing but also some of the most interesting flavours and flavour combinations I’ve seen yet with any of the donuts I’ve tried. Even the combinations that seemed risky (honey and cedar for example) totally hit the mark.

Unbelievable coffee from an outstanding location. Visited one of the sister stores in Montreal a few months back so knew that we were going to get good coffee. The service was outstanding, with the barista so friendly and accommodating with all the different questions we had. We were given our recommendations of what coffees to have based on our preferences. A two person chemex pourover was shared between my wife and I and cappuccinos and lattes by the rest of the group. All were phenomenal, so we'll prepared. The pastries are delicious too and made a great breakfast. Great space to come and have a coffee or work for the day off your laptop.
