The name is confusing and is easily confused with the downtown shop 300 m away of the same name. - it should be renamed "The Brass Shop by Receiver Coffee". This is a local coffee where the roasts are made inside the shop. Great americanos - specialties are also great. If you're in need of a great salad for lunch, this is also a good stop but for $8 or so.

I had worked in this building just over two decades ago, when it housed the Charlottetown Visitor Information Centre. Handsomely renovated, the brass shop now hosts a wonderful coffee shop, just a couple of minutes' walk from the waterfront, a bit long from the downtown, and off Water Street.

Had iced lattes here every morning of our trip, really enjoyed them, as well as the breakfast we had the first morning (one star docked because our Brass Shop Breakfasts were both missing the toast), and the brownies and blueberry crumble squares we had on following days were equally delicious! Fortunately in the case of the missing toast I'd also bought some Cardigan sourdough bread, so we just tore hunks off of that and it was a pretty great combo. Would definitely go back if/when we're in Charlottetown again.

It took us a few days to find this gem, but it was well worth it. The shop itself is unique and quite a lovely place to sit and enjoy your coffee. We tried a few other places in town, but this should be your first and every stop thereafter for your daily coffee!

I have been here twice, on different occasions, and have had terrible experiences. The staffing is low, with never enough to manage the amount of patrons. Staff have both times been short and/or rude (probably due to their understaffing I realize but this is not a new location or an unexpected outcome to be so popular) I would not recommend this location unless they can get themselves organized. Save your time and go to Vic Row or the Milky Way.

This is a nice coffee shop near the waterfront of Charlottetown, in the historic section of the City. I went in just for a coffee which tastes great. The clerk was a bit slow as she was on the phone and didn't acknowledge me for a bit. There is an open seating area with tables and chairs. A good place to meet for coffee, tea or a lunch. Parking us close by and easy to access.

Best oat latte I've ever had. I was visiting charlottetown for the weekend from Halifax and I don't know what it is about this coffee but the oat latte was so good, I went out of my way to go back and get a 2nd one the next morning. Wish they had one in Halifax. It was soooo good.

We really enjoy the food and coffee. We sat outside at a picnic table so we could bring the pup. We found the service to be inconsistent. The first time we went we waited a half hour for someone to serve us. The second time we waited 20 minutes after we were finished eating for someone to ask if we paid yet. The staff are very nice and considerate despite the inconsistency and we will definitely be going back.

Great little shop on the water. Recivers makes the best coffee in the Maritimes IMO. The only drawback to this location is the relatively small indoor seating area could be a problem when the cold weather comes, but in the summer you'll probably be outside anyways.

We were really looking forward to coming here today after reading reviews and always being in pursuit of great coffee spots. As a passionate and talented barista, my partner always shows a genuine interest in different brews etc. (stuff I know far less about but I always appreciate scouting out quality spots with him). I ordered a cappuccino and was surprised it had zero froth and literally burnt my mouth when I tasted it. Rarely does my partner take anything back but he insisted he would and politely took it to the front to point out that the drink had zero foam. 'We make everything flat white style' he was pretentiously told. The man he spoke to then hurriedly steamed some milk (that had already been steamed) and plonked it on top of the full cup in front of him. My partner felt terrible returning to the table with this overflowing drink, and I'm gutted he was made to feel that way.

I LOVE how the servers hand you takeout with both hands. Even for a tiny sauce container you can wrap your fist around, they'll use two hands. Might seem like a weird thing to rate on, but something about that action just feels so nice. Also, pretty good food and coffee. They've got some very delicious African samosas you should try.

Stoped by early in a Sunday morning. Ditch the Tim Hortons and head here for your morning coffee and pastry everyone. The staff was very welcoming. The inside of the store was very welcoming and clean. The food was amazing, however the prices were a little high (but worth it ).

(Translated) A beautiful cafe standing in a park with a store in quiet Charlottetown. Breakfast is also served. The straws are made of paper and keep the trend of the times. It's close to Charlottetown's famous seafood shops, so you can use it to kill time after booking a famous restaurant. I hesitate to go honestly because the area is pitch black at night. On sunny days, you can relax on the comfortable terrace seats (although it's almost between the square and the parking lot) or quiet indoor seats. (Original) 静かなシャーロットタウンに店を構え公園の中に佇む綺麗なカフェ。朝食も提供している。ストローはペーパー製で時代のトレンドを押さえている。 シャーロットタウンの有名なシーフードの店が集まるエリア近くにあるため、有名店を予約した後に時間を潰す用途でも使えそう。夜は近辺が真っ暗になるので正直向かうことは躊躇する。 晴れている日は気持ち良いテラス席（とは言ってもほぼ広場と駐車場の間にあるが）か屋内の静かな席でのんびりするのもいい。

Attention to what is important - health, great coffee, and good food. What really impressed me as an infectious disease specialist is the attention to cleaning and disinfecting the café - essential in these challenging times. The team sets a timer to round the tables and chairs and wipe them with sanitizer. Thank you for keeping us safe. And did I mention the great coffee!
