Traveling the back routes of PEI we discovered this little gem of a shop. Had a wonderful coffee and a selection of fine hand made chocolates. Met the proprietor who was very friendly and helpful.

Always great stuff! The chocolate covered coffee beans are unreal. The "Instant Breakfast" - chocolate covered blueberries, cranberries and espresso beans is just the best. You can even drink a wicked iced coffee! Can't go wrong with anything here! A+++!!

Handmade homemade chocolate + decadent coffee and dessert. What could possibly be wrong with this. Nothing! Go, and if you're lucky, Eric will give you a mini session about cacao beans and the entire process from farm to table, and you may get to lick hot fresh 90% dark chocolate off a spoon. Yum!

I really enjoyed my breakfast here this Summer. It was a really nice mix of items, not too heavy but quite filling. I had a yogurt with granola and fresh fruit. Inside, there is a large variety of house made chocolate and a few other food items as well. You can see into the industrial kitchen where they're making products- Always a neat aspect to these spots. There is also signage throughout regarding the history and practices of the shop, which adds a nice touch for me!

This morning we drove from Cavendish, PEI to Victoria by the Sea specifically to make a stop at Island Chocolates. This is our third time to visit PEI and we found this shop during our first visit and we always go back. There’s nothing, and I mean nothing that is as good as their Chocolate Coffee. This is such a spectacular treat and I truly look forward to our next visit. While there we take extra time to enjoy the artisans shops and stroll the streets of this lovely town. But, it wouldn’t be quite the same without our Chocolate Coffee fix. Chocolate Coffee instructions: purchase your drink, find a table either inside the shop or out on the deck, sit down, relax a bit and enjoy this wonderful treat. DO NOT STIR...! Just drink and enjoy a bit of chocolate in each and every sip along with a nice chunk of chocolate lying on the bottom as an aperitif to finish off this delectable experience.

Homemade Belgian chocolates in a variety of original flavours and styles. Generally superior flavour versus Anne of Green Gables Chocolates. Famous for "factory coffee," fresh coffee with molten chocolate poured in. And if you're not a coffee drinker fear not, hot chocolate gets the same treatment.

We usually stop by here when we visit PEI and were very disappointed that there website says they're open today but when showing up in person saw there sign said closed. Call them and was told they do some online orders. I was parked in front and they wouldn't take me. I doubt I will be back in future visits. Will skip this place now after 5+ visits in last 10 years.
