Came here to see if our waitress was still here. Probably our first post COVID restaurant outing. We basically followed this lady where ever she's been. We were delighted to see that she was still there. We had someone else serving us but she kindly let Annie know we were there. Over the years we went from no kids to three and she basically was there to see our little family evolve since we'd go out where ever she would serve. As always she was amazing, presented her our latest little one and we had a good laugh. She brings a very "family like" experience. I strongly recommend this place because of her, hopefully you'll get to experience the outstanding service she offers. Also on a more technical note, we were pleasantly surprised by the menu ( I was hard to make a choice). Portions were perfect, service was prompted and respectful. I must say they seem to have a great staff in general. I gave this review a 4 Star rating but I have to change it for a 5. Keep up the good work! We'll be back with the whole family.

It's a shame that a good breakfast restaurant attaches so little importance to the manners of its staff. (Original) Le petit déjeuner était, comme toujours chez Ben & Florentine, très bon. Mais la façon dont nous avons été traités en tant que touristes par le personnel de service était un désastre absolu ! Nous voulions prendre le petit-déjeuner avec notre petite fille (18 mois) et nous étions les troisièmes clients dans le restaurant. Lorsque la dame a voulu lire notre certificat de covidage, ce n'était bien sûr pas possible car nous venons de Suisse et n'avions pas de document canadien. Cependant, nous avions le certificat de vaccination et nos passeports sur nous. Cependant, la femme a refusé de nous laisser entrer et, malgré les explications, nous a simplement laissés là. Elle a également ignoré notre demande de renseignements. Faute d'alternatives et avec un bambin affamé, nous avons recherché la réglementation pertinente sur Internet. Ce n'est que lorsque nous le lui avons montré qu'elle nous a laissé entrer - sans s'excuser ! - dans. Heureusement, nous n'avons pas eu à revivre une telle expérience pendant tout notre voyage au Canada. Il est dommage qu'un bon restaurant de petit-déjeuner attache si peu d'importance aux manières de son personnel.

Celle-ci ne nous a pas donné de menu et personne n'est venu nous voir ! J'ai du me lever après un bon 15 min pour aller moi-même chercher des menus car tous les serveurs qui passaient proche nous ignoraient complètement! Une serveuse, du nom de Cathy, qui servait autre section est venu nous voir lorsqu'elle m'a vu me lever pour les menus et elle a pris nos commandes pour nos breuvages. Je l'ai vu faire plusieurs aller-retour aux tables autour de nous car les autres n'étaient pas servis non plus! Je lui lève mon chapeau car elle tentait de servir tout le monde étant donné le gros manque dans la section dans laquelle nous nous trouvions! Un serveur a fini par venir nous voir 10 minutes plus tard avec un air bête, sans bonjours et sans excuses! L'attente pour nos repas a été longue mais, acceptable. J'ai reçu mon assiette et mes saucisses n'étaient pas cuites ... Lorsque je l'ai mentionné au serveur, j'ai eu droit a un commentaire sur un ton condescendant comme quoi j'étais difficile sur la cuisson de mes saucisses! J'ai toujours été à celui du cap de la madeleine et je n'ai jamais eu de problèmes de ce genre ! Je ne remet clairement plus jamais les pieds à celui du boulevard des Forges.
