This is my destination a few times a week, on my bike. Today, I enjoyed the iced grizzly chai. Their food is always great. I often pick up the quinoa salad for lunch. Having a bathroom open is appreciated.

Best Best Best. I try to make my coffee as good as they do at home, even with their beans. Just can't. Mr. Coffee News LOVES Island Grind Brevo Latte's here. Did I spell Brevo correctly? It's underlined in red. Also hunt for Coffee News here as it's hiding under a shelf and sometimes covered by toys. Darn kids. haha. If you can't find it go get one at the Subway a few doors down and bring it back. You can leave it there on the table for the next person to read if you want. haha. (I may be in trouble now)

Pretty sure the almond milk was bad as when I poured out the rest it was gelatinous and I had an upset stomach rest of day. Muffin was delicious dry and clearly more than a few days old. I’d like to think this was a rarity as Ive had almond mocha there before and they were good. Really disappointing this time, sadly.

Had an excellent experience here! I have a dairy allergy and always find it a bit overwhelming trying to find something that I can eat. I asked the barista if there was anything available without dairy, and her colleague immediately came out and showed me a few options. I was super impressed! Plus, the food and coffee were delicious. We were also impressed with their COVID protocols, and even overheard the barista ask customers to please use the correct "entrance" doors on their next visit, as they had incorrectly walked in the "exit". Will be back on our next visit to Campbell River!

Beautiful inside, nice atmosphere. The table layout could be a lot better. I feel it lacks the number of seats it should have for such a large, open space, and this is backed up by the fact that there's nowhere to sit almost every time I've been there. Big huge slab tables with a very limited amount of chairs. They have an unnecessarily large cream & sugar table for the customers situated in the middle-right of the room, and it takes up prime seating territory. It's gotta be at least 6 feet long. A giant long slab table for a couple of creamer vessels and sugar canisters is a little much. A smaller station would be better along a wall where it wouldn't take up as much floor space. I just feel the space could be better arranged to maximize seat space. I was meeting a family member there for coffee every Saturday late morning, but we stopped going because we can never find a spot to sit down together, especially this time of year when the patio is closed. I've only ever tried their steamers, and they are very good, but I need to remember to ask the barista to be very light with the syrup. I think they normally put at least 6 pumps in, but I find that far too sweet. I also wish they had a wider choice of syrups (PS: please get almond!)????

Had an 8oz latte, well flat white really, and although it was nice, would have been a 5 star coffee had it been a darker, creamier roast. Just a bit on the weaker side even with a double shot.. I'd go back though, see if i could get a darker roast.. Nice wee court yard area.

They serve the best tasting coffee in Campbell River. I usually get an americano or an iced caramel latte with soy milk. It is reasonably priced, staff are nice and quick and the space is airy with high ceilings. Their patio is also wonderful. Their pastries and food on the other hand, are not the best. Go for the coffee.

Great customer service, nicely designed café and good coffee. Well lit; lots of big windows to enjoy your craft coffee in natural light. The food looks yummy; if I was hungry I’d definitely stuff my face with some of. And I’m digging the tunes here.

After reading an article raving about the cafe, we decided it was worth making a little detour. I had to wait for a while for my cappuccino to come out. When I picked up the cup, it was so hot that I could barely hold the cup which means the guy scorched the milk. I think this was the worst cappuccino I had in a while and what a great disappointment. I am not sure what this guy was doing but he was definitely not caring. How could he serve me such a scorching hot Cappuccino. I would have returned it except we had to go catch the ferry. The photo shows non-loving presentation. Quite frankly awful just looking at the cup. Really unfortunate.

Not only is the coffee delicious (and I'm picky as heck), staff is wonderful, and space is beautiful, but the food is great. I have dietary restrictions, and can absolutely find something to eat that's fresh, healthy, and oh so yummy! I dare you to not love the ginger oat bars - one of my faves!

I might try again. Went a couple months ago for a ice dirty Chai. My boyfriend got a vanilla ice. My espresso for my Chai just didn't taste right. Needless it wasn't bad it wasn't great. ALso there vanilla ice is just milk and ice. My boyfriend didn't want a flavor shot but at 5.00 yikes. I will try an Americano next time see how that works out.
