If the fresh produce isn't completely out of stock it's usually rotting on the shelves. If you're looking for a deal on meat go here, but don't expect quality. If you're looking for ingredients for an exotic dish however, they have you covered. Most of the the other stores in town are so white washed it becomes a task finding something more than just one brand of hoisin or a bottle of mirin. The only reason this store gets 2 stars is because of their diversity in selection.

Typically I stay away from the bigger stores but had to go in to get something. The deals were great and the selection was awesome. Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised. There was security there and they were doing their job well as there was some shady character wandering around trying to hide from them. Regardless, I am convinced that it is a good store to go to.

When we went to pay we wanted to use some of our points and the clerk at the self checkout had no idea how to do it. Too many times I've experienced long lines at the cashier's check out, because there are only two or three cashiers working. Need more cashiers to speed up our check outs. We don't have time to wait half an hour in the line ups. We have work to do and other places to go,too. I also noticed that the customer service person/s do not try to help thin these busy line ups by going on the microphone to announce that they could take their items through, as long as nothing needs to be weighed. I watch these workers as they just lean on the counter with their arms crossed and do nothing to help out. These workers are just plain lazy.

I never buy my meat or produce at Superstore, I've never been impressed with either. I find the store hard to navigate especially on the weekends and the lack of check out line make me not want to return. They do sometimes have good sales but I shop there maybe once a month. I don't find the staff overly helpful either.

Best place to buy groceries if your on a tight budget. Lots of self check-outs. Bright and well laid out. Always some sad story in the parking lot trying to bum money, but that seems to be everywhere in PA. ***Here's a tip*** If you're trying to save money on groceries, use the "clip n collect" service. This way you aren't tempted into buying stuff walking around...your order is picked and loaded into your car for you so you don't ever have to go into the store...nay nay buying stuff you didn't have on your list ????.

They now have an "Organic" isle just past the produce area. Gas is cheaper and you get in store credits as well. Usually no lineups to pay and leave, with some self serve checkouts as well.

I really like this store. Some prices are the best you will find in the area. Like rice milk. The little sushi bar in the back is great! Large selection of meats, well large selection of everything here. Lots of cashier's over the busy times as well. Never have too long of a wait to get out. We always shop here because they have the best prices but the staff are straight up miserable. We always try to avoid Krista because she is so rude but today she was the only till open and we had $400 worth of groceries to put through. I asked her a question about the deli hours and she was very short, sighed heavily, rolled her eyes, no eye contact. Finally I pointed out that she must hate her job, she said nothing handed me the receipt and we packed our items while the next one's came through, really brought down our mood.

Never in my life had I received a pleasant experience while shopping at superstore. While the prices are unbeatable, the staff are unbearable. They rush you through, they are incredibly rude, and get exasperated when they actually have to do something within their job description. Totally unhelpful. I shop in this location every week (sometimes on multiple days) but Monday was almost enough to make me switch stores. It was due to at LEAST 6 people not wearing masks. When I mentioned it to store staff, they immediately made an announcement but still allowed those people to go through the check out. We are so close to the finish line. Store was a typical superstore - decent produce, average prices. The bathroom (men's), however, was one of the most disgusting I've ever been in. It reeked of urine, there was soiled toilet paper everywhere, the ceiling tiles were burned with a lighter. It was insane and I didn't want to touch anything. I hope the employees have a different bathroom upstairs to use.

I used PCExpress for the first time. I don't recommend it. They literally threw my groceries in my trailer, half the groceries were not even bagged, everything was thrown loose in the trailer, disorganized with heavy items on top of softer ones like bananas and chips. They selected the worst possible mushrooms on my behalf, and although they're supposed to check with the customer before substituting, they never bothered calling or texting me to check with me when they substituted my ordered Ketchup chips with BBQ instead and regular chips with dill pickle chips (both flavors none in my family likes). And they substituted my 16kg dog food bag for 2 7.2kg and charged me the full price of both bags which is $6 more expensive than the bigger bag and has only 14.4kg instead of 16kg. I am also missing one lasagna completely although they charged me for 2. And the kid who came to load my groceries was absolutely rude and utterly disrespectful. Finally, they gave me a 3-month free PCinsiders coupon that expired over a month ago. Then I waited over half an hour to get someone on the phone who didnt care about "my troubles" and got an $18 voucher in an email, for the missing item and price difference with dog food. Very disappointed, doesn't begin to describe it.

When eveeything is painted battleship gray it's hard to see the staircase... a bit of yellow paint would help. 2020-11-30 update Store not enforcing new mask requirements covering nose and mouth and permitting customers to wear clear face shields. I went to Superstore to change my phone plan from Bell, to Shaw. I switched my Bell Cell phone accounts from Bell over to Shaw. I had no complaints about Bell, just the fact that I am now saving $150/month on my combined Cell phone, Internet and Television accounts across 2 provinces is a Big plus for me. The costs associated with moving for AB to B.C. are far greater than most people would imagine. The people at the Cell phone store inside Superstore were very pleasant and quite helpful in helping me to navigate the loose ends of combining accounts and transitioning me into having all my data accounts consolidated under 1 provider, which is Shaw. I am traveling fro province to province by car, air and truck and motor home; The # 1 dilemma and what turned out to be the a problem of the highest priority is "Staying connected to data" while zigzagging across provinces, motels, hotels, RV Parks and airports. I have to say that I am already so happy with the seamless streaming of data on my travels via the Shaw go platform. The connectivity for Shaw is the same as it was on Bell, only better because of the shaw go. I am very pleased with my new provider, and the savings are a big giant + for me at a time when costs are mounting.

Yesterday was at this store. Wasn't impressed. Your mask mandatory for one. Handing out masks were over since August 29/ 2020, so you shouldn't try to make a buck from customers by selling them at the door. Another issue is, if masks are mandatory in your store, then follow all procedures. Didn't see anyone disinfecting all carts!! Or Santizing the conveyors and debit machines after each customer before proceeding to the next customer.

I always do the click and collect and I love it. The staff are always super friendly and are great about contacting me for substitutions to my items. Once there was a mix up and they were apologetic and quickly fixed the mishap and I walked away more than happy. I highly recommend the program to every one! Saves me time for a couple bucks and in this cold weather waiting in a nice warm car is the best place to be!

I give 4 stars because it seems this store can't be bothered to keep carts in the store. Other than that the store is mostly clean and the staff are friendly. They're changing stock around a lot so it's sometimes hard to know where things are. Also be careful of the prices on produce. I do like this place but the prices are going up and now it's getting to a point where I to travel to Lethbridge to the wholesale company to buy my groceries a box of chicken was $11 now it's at 18 or $19 I roughly spend about 900 + $a week I know all the staff and are extremely nice. I would like to make a list of other prices and changes but it makes me upset. I do understand about inflation I do know the markets for the different foods. Its just sheer greed and taking advantage of your customers. It's bad if I could drive to Alberta and back and save money just saying. I do like the point system but because of the price is always going up I really don't save any money my bean counters keep track of the profit and loss of this company point system when I'm buying food towards what I'm saving I really don't save anyting it looks good but that's it. This store is in a rough area. They have a parking spot reserved just for police so that should tell you something. It is not that the store or staff are bad but the location is just really unfortunate. You will be able to find all the things you'd normally find in a Superstore with a few extra security measures though. I.e. locking cabinets where the clerk will have to unlock, coin unlock shopping carts either a looney or tooney, etc.

Often I find the staff to be nice and very helpful. I can generally find what I'm looking for and when they have sales on various products, they usually have a good supply of the products. I have had occasions like the other night when I was going through the checkout. The girl couldn't answer any of my questions and basically had no skill at figuring out how to resolve problems. I.E. we had produce that we had carefully chosen to get the best of the bags of pears they had. When we got to the checkout there wasn't a item code on it. She did pick up the phone/intercom once to get a price check. When she didn't get an immediate response she had no idea what to do next. She suggested not bothering to get the produce. We wouldn't have taken the time to get the pears if we didn't want them. I finally had to rush over to the produce dept, find a bag with the tag on it and carry the heavy bag back to the checkout. After all that she wanted us to take the random bag I grabbed which had no ripe fruit in it. She couldn't understand when I tried to explain to her that I wanted the fruit I had taken the time to pick out for quality. I actually had to argue with her to get my original pears back. It was frustrating and time consuming. There was a lineup by this time and I'm disabled so it was very tiring and caused me physical pain. Thank goodness that that isn't the norm there. It does bother me a bit that the parent company-Loblaws is starting to monopolize a lot of the market, especially now that they've added all the Shoppers Drugmart chain to their big collection of various stores.

The selection allowes you to be able to buy the products in multiple sizes and quantities depending on the desired result. There is a good selection of fresh produce, grown local to sources around the world. You can make a fresh smoothie with tropical fruits without leaving your neighborhood or city. Shopping for bread you will find store fresh or healthy alternatives like Silver Hills bread. Buns, beagles, and croissants, whole grains, whole wheat, and white, whatever you want to serve on your table they have available for you. Household cleaning items come in brand name or generic, depending on your preference, large or small, tailored for you and your situation. In the clothing department of superstore you'll find clothes for infants and your old granny that will make both cute and fashionable. A great way to start a child's new school year by getting them a new top or complete outfit. There seasonal products are constantly changing, each season is cratered to. Summer lawn furniture and garden excessories to Christmas trees and snow shovels to Easter bunnies and barbeques are Just a start. The isles are well labeled so searching out an item is usually easily done, in case you have a not so easy search item there are always helpful staff that will show you where to find that one last item on your list that your love asked you to pick up on your way home from work. It's a great Canadian store for great Canadian people. Few other stores can boast of the selection they have while giving you the consumer a great product at a great price.

I love shopping at our Real Canadian Superstore. The prices are reasonable, the selection is wonderful, and the staff is friendly. On weekends they have every lane open for the most part between 10AM and 6 PM. They provide self-checkouts as an option instead of waiting in line. I love how they have free gifts for spending $250 or in some cases $300. I love my PC Optimum points. Overall, Superstore is where I do 99.9% of my shopping.

Most of the time this occurs (as it did today) is people not following the item limits for Express / self checkouts. Was a long time loyal customer. Will never shop with Loblaws group ever again. After placing my order online, receiving notice it was ready for pickup. Showed up to find it wasn't ready, this was after waiting 15 minutes and calling back to see when it would be brought out. Somehow this became my fault for having believed Superstore when they contacted me to say it was ready. I can certainly understand human error, however when I get sworn at for simply trying to pick up my order (a service I had used many times) then have my complaint ignored. I have found that the Superstore is by far the busiest Food store in Cranbrook. Even starting out in the morning with full shelves, by mid day it is depleted. Not just from walk in shoppers but Express customers and Bulk orders for restaurants just wipes them out. The way the staff their handle the rush is admirable, But you still get the self important individuals coming in late afternoon or evening complaining their particular food option is out. Then start barking at the staff. Come in earlier or go pay a lot more somewhere else. In this difficult time, Good job Superstore.

They are currently reorganizing the interior, which is good. Ok prices and selection, and a lot of their store brand (President's Choice) as well as "yellow wrap" generic products. Store is too big for it's presentation. It has a too small clothing section and other specialty areas, and a way too large personal products section. Every shampoo known in Canada, for example.

If you were looking for an item expect to spend more than a few minutes in here. This place is large so it is not impossible to lose yourself here but the two things this place offers are wide variety and low prices. The one negative I have about this place is if they ran out of an item or did not get it in even if they advertise it that they DO NOT offer rainchecks, they expect you to come back almost daily to see if they have the item(s) you are wanting.

Went to the superstore a week ago as we were giving free coffee and sandwiches to our truck drivers. Went I to buy the little creamers as the superstore is the only place to buy them. The two crates they had were expired by at least a week. So had to buy cartons of coffee cream, which is more expensive. Wrote to superstore and they said they had been in touch with the store to remove them. Went back the next day to see if they had fresh ones but there was still a crate of expired creamers. Wrote again. Said if I had a problem again to speak to store manager. Well, went in yesterday, checked the dates in them and they were dated April 21. Is no one checking these dairy items. Not sure if other people check expiry dates but I sure do. Also checking out the potato chip aisle and their brand of thick cut ripple chips was dated February 2020. This is the third time this has happened.

Tried ordering online, first time I didn't receive $100 worth of groceries I had ordered and payed for. Had to return to the store where they refused to give me a refund receipt. Made my shopping experience an hour and a half longer then if I would have just done it myself. Now I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and order online again and they called me saying they wouldn't have my order done in time, had no idea when it would be ready. Would never suggest anyone order grocery online from superstore. Very poor customer service
