Welcoming staff. Airy, comfy, relaxing space done in a funky industrial style. Coffee comes in individual french press - make it the way you like it. Wife said their brewed-on-premises beer was excellent. Grilled Reuben sandwich w salad & cilantro/ lime mussels were v good.

I enjoy visiting Beach Fire. The food is good and the staff are pleasant. The beer,... ah! They have their standard usual which I enjoy along with their seasonal ones. Currently they have a Bock beer which reminds me of Germany, and me wife loves it too! Good quality all around. Be back soon!

Turning away customers is not good practice under any circumstances. Its not the right choice not to let certain people in because of beliefs, or health status. Asking for personal medical information as well as denying a customer based on such information is illegal under the Canadian Charter of Rights, the Canadian Bill of Rights, the Human Rights Code, the Personal Health Information Protection Act, and the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. What the government is doing is asking buisnesses to inforce a mandate which violates these laws. No law or mandate (v passports) in canada supersedes the charter and if it does its null and void. You have a choice to do the right thing.

Was highly recommend from the hotel stuff, so we decide to give it a try. Not much food choice on the menu, chicken quesadilla I order was okay, beer was average. Little pricey for what I got.

Three of us out for beers and food. So...I have had some awfully good mussels..but...never as good as these Chipotle & Lime mussels. Made from Laura's original receipe, still prepared as she meant them to be. Had a flight then settled on The Pale Ale...but all were delish.

Menu was very limited for gluten free and further limited as the kitchen was closed due to the heat wave. Nice vibe and we enjoyed our Buddha Bowls but would have liked to try some other dishes. The beer was just so-so. I tried their flavour of the day and could not detect any of the notes they claimed. Nice to see more independent restaurants opening up in Campbell River. This one is worth a try.

Every time I return to Beach Fire Brewing and Nosh House, I’m always pleasantly surprised by the their constant raising of the bar in terms of beer quality and flavour, food quality and presentation, service, and even unique and very cool merchandise. They’re always experimenting with one-of-a-kind brews and I highly recommend getting flights to try as many as you can. I often get the knowledgeable staff to pick the flight for me which keeps things exciting. Can’t wait to return to my hometown to make another stop at Beach Fire Brewing. The beer was good! The service was ok. The menu looked good but the actual flavours of the food served were very, very disappointing. Lack-lustre. Bland. Dull. The recipes and the presentation both need "oomph." Especially for the money being charged. Gourmet prices but not gourmet taste. Nevertheless, it's great to see this kind of initiative in Campbell River so we will continue to go to support their effort. Hopefully they will jazz up their food soon.

Good little micro brew. Only gave it 3 stars due to the limited selection of beers on tap, I think they only had 4. I had a Pale Ale as it was the closest thing they had to an IPA and it was pretty good. We also got some chips and salsa and while the portion was quite small the salsa was very tasty. My wife also got some sort of "bowl" that had quinoa and that was pretty good too. As a cyclist I found the interior to be awesome as there are some bike related things around. All in all for a small town brewery it's pretty good, just needs more selection of beers and maybe larger portion sizes of the appys.

This is the only brew pub in Campbell River. They have a half dozen or so benchmark beers that are always on tap and another half dozen seasonal or small batch on tap. The people behind the bar were very knowledgeable and super friendly. The food was quite good. Highly recommended.

This place is decent. Paying can be a pain in the butt, their POS is slow as molasses. The beer is pretty good I'll have to admit. The staff are polite but as other people say it's a little strange walking in there. The staff aren't welcoming or engaging. Staff seem somewhat aloof and undirected.

Bizarre. Staff with tunnel vision? Went in tonight (Friday Dec 23 around 4:45 pm) to get something to take home. Maybe 20 people at tables. Lots of staff bustling around. Walked up to the bar. 4-5 staff moving around and talking behind the bar. Waited. Read the beer description list. Sounded good. Waited. Tried to make eye contact with some of the staff. Didn't work. Waited. A guy surveyed the room, his eyes sweeping right past me. He turned around and wiped down the beer dispensing area. Turned back to face the room. I tried eye contact. Nothing. 2 other people at the bar. 5 minutes past. Finally, I left. A very strange experience. Guess I didn't look like the type they wanted to serve?

Amazing beer, incredible food! We had the meat and cheese plate and the beef tacos, both were crazy good. Tried the saison and the blonde ale and highly recommend both. Great place, would go back for sure.

I'd give more stars based on beer. My complaint comes from the food. Not that its entirely bad it just is super small portions and its not just even a little pub foodish. Menu needs burgersor even steak or fries. If your into rabbit food and small portions cool.

Limited choice of beers, which were mediocre. The server we had was less than helpful and not knowledgeable on the menu. If you want a menu you'd better take a picture of the chalk board when you come in as there isn't anything at the tables and the server won't know it. We ordered kids grilled cheese but got a quesadilla. We sent it back but it returned with the explanation that they were out of bread so we didn't have much choice but to accept it. At least we were comped for that when we prompted them to. When we asked what the desert options were our server pointed to the chalk board behind us and said there they are.

I was pretty disappointed with Beach Fire Brewing; the beer options weren’t great compared to many other breweries we visited on the Island and the food wasn’t great. Staff were friendly, but I also saw someone working in the kitchen who wasn’t wearing a mask, so that wasn’t great either.

Stumbled upon this bar as it was the only thing open in sleepy Campbell River at 9 o'clock!! The decor is quite minimalist and was nice and clean, which I quite like. My wife had a salmon dish marinaded in a lime and vegetable dip with tortilla chips which she enjoyed as we were still jetlagged and it was light and tasty, not heavy with a thick sauce on it like we had at lunchtime. I had bbq chicken thighs and rice with a sweet sticky sauce, also light but a good size, enough to leave me satisfied. I really found the Pale Ale refreshing and fruity, very similar to my favourite local Australian beer, and at a very reasonable price. Overall a very nice experience.

Great beer but need to work on customer service. Husband had a beer dumped in his lap then added to the bill. Also left his buddies beer on the tab after his buddy left early and paid for his own drinks. They did correct the errors when they were pointed out, but no real apologies for the errors.

We had a great evening here at this brewery bar. The beers were tasty and original recipes and being a home brewer have high expectations! The food was really good too and very reasonably priced. The staff were so friendly too, with one of the owners giving us a personal tour of the brewery! A really good and Interesting evening, which is clearly popular with locals and regulars. I would highly recommend this for drinking or eating. But also for the friendly and social atmosphere! A Great concept!

Love the outdoor patio seating area! Pizza and beer was delicious albeit a bit pricy for the the pizza but super fresh! Made to feel like my kids were not welcome though. Also it claims to be pet friendly but was told we couldn't bring the dog in (sat on their back patio with a space to have the dog out of the way.

Osaka potato bites were fantastic, beer was good, however the Mac n cheese was really thick, and a little bland, Not really worth 21 dollars especially since it was only man and cheese with no protein. Stout cake was really dry and crumby.

Really impressed with all that Beach Fire has going on here. Shared a flight with a friend and enjoyed everything - probably can't go wrong with any of their beers. The noshing aspect is delightful and I would love to return for that, however the warm, salty pretzels are such a treat. The decor was not at all what I expected; although there are industrial vibes, the gorgeous artwork really warms up the space and encorporates the local natural beauty in a softer way. It was also a surprise to discover toys for children so they can enjoy being there, and that classes (like yoga) cohabit this space - innovative brewery concepts! Looking forward to another visit, would highly recommend.
