Went there this weekend and was sitting at a booth. My girlfriend met up with me and she came to sit down across there was toenail clippings and food sitting on the bench across from me. No one cleaned the entire time we were there, about an hour. No sanitizer when you walk in, everything is by the food or cashier. Won't be going back.

The coffee and food are really good, bit expensive though. The space is a very nice and the ambience makes it perfect for studying. But the reason I'm eating it 3 stars is because they only allow 90 minutes for a study space to be occupied which is ridiculous. 90 minutes isn't enough to study and for such expensive price of the drinks it's unfair to add timers to study spaces. Weird study cafe rule I've ever seen.

Visited as a Semi Vegeterian Customer. Ordered The BLT with Veggies Instead Of Meat. Staff went Above and Beyond. I Received a Sandwich with Cucumber, Shredded Carrots, Sliced Tomato, Tzatziki and Mayo Sauce aswell as Goat Milk Based Feta. One of The Best I've Had in Awhile. Will Be Continuously Returning. Staff Here are Amazing! I also Love that their are 3 Delicious Coffees To Choose From. Fair Trade Roast - Light Coffee with Strong Taste(s) of Earth and Spice. Cultures Blend - Sweet But Bold. Notes of Earth, Similar to a Dark Roast in Flavor. This is My Typical Go To.. Dark Roast - Not Too Bitter (Just Right) with a Nice Bold I'm Coffee Flavor. Love It! They Also Have Decaf Which I've Yet to Try. I Highly Recommend Giving This Location Ago. I Doubt You'll Regret It.

Great coffee shop with extensive menu and a fine selection of coffee items in a very nice part of Cambridge (downtown Galt) My wife and I were in this area for only a short while and we were reflecting on the lack of a "coffee culture" (small-c) in several regions we've lived and only a few hours later we stumbled across this shop which is aptly named. :) Its hours are great and the ambiance is very warm and comfortable. I don't think it has plans to be a live-music venue as the layout isn't very conducive for live music.

Recently visited this café and had an excellent experience both with food and customer service. I was happy that I had taken my client to this place for a business meeting while in Winnipeg. I have decided to go back soon with my family. Strongly recommended for all those looking for a pleasant café experience. I did have a look at the previous reviews for the place and noticed a spate of recent poor ones. They all appear to be the same group who presumably asked all their buddies to troll the business as so often is the case in this world of social media influence.

Not what I was expecting but overall an average dining experience. It has a cafeteria-style dining vibe. I got the hot chocolate without any fancy topping, I didn't like that it wasn't hot, it was warm????. I also got the Turkey Bacon Swiss Sandwich and it was really good! Was there for some late night studying, really great atmosphere though there weren't too many people there. Prices are a bit high, sort of remind me of Williams, but more appealing to hangout at. Customer service for the time I was there was great, the ladies working were chipper and really nice. I read some of the previous reviews and didn't have the 'privilege' of meeting the owner so I can't comment on that. All in all it's a nice spot to go with some good headphones and plug away at what ever work you need to get accomplished.

The ice cream is an absolute dream in the summer time and their soup selection is hearty for the fall and winter. Staff is lovely and does their very best to provide quick service even though they're often busy and a bit understaffed. Love it here! It's my go-to writing spot in Cambridge.

Having visited the Coffee Cultures in Winkler and Morden many times, this is such a treat to have one here in the city. Looking forward to our next visit!

The drinks are all very good and typically made quickly. Pre covid the inside was fantastic and during they have still managed to keep some of their luxuries to a good state. My biggest issues with this location is the price points for the drinks as well as how the employees are treated. It is rare that I hear positive reviews from employees regarding the training and I think the location suffers from it. Currently they seem understaffed which sounds understandable. Having said that their bakery is super good, all the little cakes are great.

Don’t get me wrong, the food/drinks are good, and the place itself is nice. But the manager... I used to come here weekly in high school to study until realized that the only people the manager approached to say, “you know you can’t just sit here and use the wifi”, were non-white people and visibly homeless people. Mind you, I would buy food or a drink every hour I stayed starting from when I sat down. There were always many other people there who hadn’t bought anything at all but would sit for hours, that was not the situation at all. She would watch like a hawk and the moment she didn’t see me actively eating or drinking she’d ask the same thing... as if I hadn’t bought something earlier. That manager is something. My BIPOC friends who have visited have mentioned the same thing about the place, so if you go, be aware. I don’t think she realizes that BIPOC people have money too lol

I've always loved the atmosphere of this particular location..... Very friendly, very clean & comfortable. THEY HAD RAINBOW CAKE!!!!!!;;;;; I didn't get a slice of rainbow cake tho, I opted instead for a custard tart which I have yet to eat. It's calling me from my bag...... Soon, my pretty. Very soon. (Edit: that custard tart was sent by the baking gods!!!! Best tart I have LITERALLY ever had! ????) Anyways, yes. The staff is awesome, and very reminiscent of Williams, but more comfy. Try their lattes and visit with a friend or 5.... I had the hazelnut latte, but I think I prefer caramel. ????

I work downtown and often come in to Coffee Culture after work to relax for a bit. I am so impressed with how well the staff treat their guests. They have such a good rapport with their regular customers, often remembering their orders, making jokes and carrying on polite conversation with them. The restaurant is cozy and so nicely situated right beside Harmony Square. Coffee Culture is a great asset to Downtown Brantford. Keep up the great work!

Great place, but business hours are not updated to be accurate on their website OR Google. Always call and ask to make sure. They close at 8pm on Saturdays from what I was told only after ordering a drink, thinking they were open until 10pm. I’ll update my review to 5 stars when they get this most basic detail right. This should be one of the first things a business ensures is correct.

I haven't been in here since covid 19 hit so I figured while I am downtown I am going too stop in and get one of my favorite drinks, strawberry and cream chiller. While ordering I noticed one of the girls in the back had her mask down below her chin, didn't really think anything of it because she is behind the counter. So I am waiting for my drink and she proceeds too walk out of the back and goes too the outside patio, all while her mask is below her chin, she walks back in and walks right through the restaurant gathering dishes from tables, without the mask over her mouth and nose. If we all have too wear one while in there why is she not wearing hers the proper way ? Sept 18 2021, 3:30pm

Huge fan of this place. There unique drink selection has always left me satisfied, from the chillers to the ccinos I have not had one that I haven't enjoyed. The desert or baked good sections is insanely good, off the top of my head a large selection of cheese cakes and other wide variety of always changing baked sweet goods. Of course I would give any of the cheesecakes a great review individually, as well as the vanilla cream pastry I had last Sunday. Even the main stays like cinnamon rolls and such are above average for sure. I really have become a huge fan of this place and my semi monthly visits have went from bi weekly to weekly very quickly.

Out of about 10+ guests and employees in the establishment/line today, only one young employee was wearing a mask. Whom I assume to be the owner (older, blond, no uniform) wasn't wearing any ppe, and was speaking with a customer with no mask around the ppe register shield. It's almost painful to leave such a bad review after having such fond experiences at this place in the past. It was upsetting to see a business-franchise lack care and professionalism for it's customers and employees in times like these. Will be supporting other local businesses after this.

I am not sure where to start. I really want to be able to give restaurants, especially small businesses 5 stars but after my experience today, that is just not possible, unfortunately. Location: Conveniently located in the shared parking lot with Pembina South Sobeys, kitty corner to CIBC. Parking: Free parking in the shared parking lot and outside of the store front. There is no drive thru option, so it is walk in and take out or dine in. We decided to walk in and dine in. There was plenty of space to sit and only one other customer group sitting at a table. Customer Service: Very poor customer service at this location. They really need to work on this because it was a huge turn off. This place wasn't busy and what I noticed first was there was no greeting upon entry. I did say hi/how are you. We were asked if we knew what we wanted. I asked how it worked for dining in (did we purchase and then sit for example). I was informed we would have to show our ID and QR code. No problem there. The barista did not appear as if she wanted to be there. Taking our order seemed almost painful. Upon leaving, the barista walked away from the front counter. I said "Thank you" and the two staff couldn't do me the courtesy to even respond. They just looked and stared as I left. Now, what makes this whole experience worse is that with certain folks who came in during the time we were dining in, their experience, the way they were spoken to and thanked was so nice and kind. It is so very unfortunate that there's different service for different folks. I'm unsure what we did to deserve such poor treatment. I will not subject myself to this poor treatment again. Food: Our hot drinks came a small piece of biscotti-- nice touch. The biscotti tasted great! We had the full walnut salad with balsamic vinaigrette. It was very good. The walnuts are candied, and the salad is topped with a type of feta--seemed more like a soft cream. We also tried a sandwich--panini style. Nothing special but we were happy about the variety on the menu. Their Chai latte tastes like it's made with lavender. Not what I was expecting for chai but I realize everyone has their own recipes. We also found the drinks too sweet for our liking. We didn't specify any level of sweetness (nor were we asked). They also had a variety of muffins, Cheesecake Factory Cheesecake, bagels and more. There's something here for everyone to try. They also have smoothies and other drinks too. Cleanliness: Upon entering this cafe, there is hand sanitizer available. The restaurant however needs some finer attention to detail when cleaning. I too have worked in food establishments and when it's that quiet, you keep busy cleaning. The table we sat at was dirty with several spots. There is no system to indicate to the customer what table has been sanitized and which one has not. Overall very disappointed. I had been meaning to come check this place out but was severely disappointed. We've wanted to come at night but this place closes at 8pm (sometimes sooner!). I would think, for being the only location currently in Winnipeg, you'd want to have a higher standard of customer service and care. At the end of the day, if there was consistency in customer service, that's all that would matter.

I stop here during work hours. Coffee is better than Tim Hortons but not as expensive as Starbucks. There is also a proper kitchen here. They serve regular pastries both savory and sweet; sandwiches; and even cakes.

Angad one of the managers asked them to please put one on and was abused by these individuals. Then they come on Google to write obscene reviews. Nice little cozy cafe. They have various choices on their menu. We live close by and always walk to this place for hot beverages since it opened. My wife is obsessed with their caramel latte. They have sweets to satisfy your sweet tooth too! They have tables with electric outlets to plug your laptops and phones into. Once covid is through I'm sure this place will be super busy, especially for students to have a place to meet and study. So glad this cafe opened near us!

The drinks at this place are great, but their policies are terrible. You can only be seated at the boots for a maximum of 90 minutes, and while I understand the reasoning behind such policy, in COVID times, the implications are awful. We were sitting at a table and when some people got kicked out of a booth after the 90 minutes, they had nowhere else to go and were told by the employees they could join our table. We did not know these people nor did we feel comfortable sitting so close to complete strangers during COVID. We left soon after they joined our table. The sad thing is, there were multiple other booths open, but they were not allowed to go to those because it had already been 90 minutes, so instead they had to come sit with us as per the employees instruction. It not only pushed us out, but it made no sense because why would you put two parties of people in such awkward situations when open booths are available? They should really re-think the implications of their rules during the current situation.

Great service and nice people. Parking right across the street is super convenient. Coffee is tasty. The boss is nice. What is So So: Some of the specialty coffee drinks are so so. Occasionally when there are a lot of people the internet connection is a little slow, but usually it is fine. Great place!

*** NEW CAFE ON PEMBINA *** was in the area and decided to try their coffee, the coffee was really delicious, deep in bean flavor, wasn't too bitter and had the right amount of sugar to balance out. I also ordered the Cali Chicken Grilled Cheese sandwich and holy smokes, so good! crunchy, cheesy and that good good. The first impression you get when you visit the cafe is Wow! It's cozy and has a soothing ambience. My boyfriend and I visited and wanted to get some drinks. The drinks are pure delicious, you'll know the care and effort that goes in making them once I'd say they are way better than Starbucks. But, a big BUT, they won't let you have food from outside even if you order from their cafe. My boyfriend can't eat anything but halal, so we bought some for him from Sobeys nearby and I was going to order sandwich from the cafe for me. We were told we can't have the food. I tried explaining to the manager that I will be buying food for myself and we already ordered and paud for our drinks but he said that it is the restaurant policy. So that was a bummer, we had to leave if we decided to eat together, I ended up not ordering my sandwich. I also noticed a sign that says that the booths have a 90 minutes time limit - so if I want to have an important meeting with my colleagues or hangout with my friends at the cafe booths, I'd have to keep track of time and leave by 90 mins...this doesn't make sense to me. I have been to many other cafes but I don't know of any cafe that have time limits. So basically you can't have a meeting for more than 90 mins and I suppose it also applies to people/students who studies st a cafe. These two experiences made it unwelcoming for me and my boyfriend. But if you're there for their drinks, you'd enjoy them.

Appalled with the male owner making my breakfast sandwiches and running cash. Caught him after handling change and cash register to touching and making my breakfast sandwich. He then saw me watching him in disgust when he was about to go to my table, instead saw me standing at service counter. He was caught and he knew I was completely disgusted. I demanded my money back on my debit. How many times has he done this before with none of the customers knowing? He of all people as an owner and supposed to uphold food safe handling caught with poor, lazy uncaring handling. Shame on the husband and wife. Don't deserve to be running a business at all if you don't care about food quality and people's health. Afterwards, I watched him wash his hands and then glove up...I won't ever be going back, hopefully for other unsuspecting customers he's learned his lesson, but I doubt it.

Again, while visiting Brantford, we decided to try something different. We chose Coffee Culture because I suggested it (having eaten at 2 of them in Hamilton), We found the food delicious, the staff courteous, friendly, and helpful. The service was excellent and I wouldn't hestiate to recommend this as a relatively inecpensive choice to eat. Their soups are excellent also.

This place is a little confused in what it is trying to be. I had an absolutely amazing pistachio muffin however the coffee was highly subpar. For a place called Coffee Culture, I expected it would have true espresso based drinks and knowledgeable baristas. This was not the case. My "latte" was made by pressing a button on an automatic coffee machine and not a manual espresso machine. It's impossible for these automatic machines to make a good espresso based drink.

The food here is really good. The overall vibe is similar to panera with nice seating. The customer service however could have been better. They require masks despite masking being optional in MB. I ordered a hot chocolate for $1.99. The employee asked me if I wanted milk and whipped which I agreed to. The menu did not display these ask extra and the employee didn’t convey that. I ended up with a $6 hot chocolate. I paid because they had already made it by the time I had noticed the discrepancy. To other guests, I suggest asking if certain this are extra so your bill doesn’t rack up.

We usually enjoy stopping in after skating for some hot chocolate and treats but server today was a piece and quite snappy; slammed the empty cup that I requested down on the counter. 1 medium coffee and a large hot chocolate cost a lot more than Timmies. I guess the students are better with service. This was my first time here on a weekday. I agree with the comment about bathroom/customer use only signage- makes it unwelcoming but hey, maybe the server I experienced and the sign are the same issue “ahem” !

To say I was shocked is an understatement when walking into Coffee Culture downtown Cambridge this morning. I guess the Mask Mandates don't apply to them - the owner (I can only assume because she wasn't wearing a mask, no uniform) and another gentleman in the back weren't wearing masks. Customers were walking in and out with no masks, walking in close proximity to myself who WAS wearing a mask. Absolutely no regard for their staff safety during COVID or customers who DO come in wearing a face covering as mandated. Even IF you have a "health exemption" there are face shields and other face covering options. Though I find it hard to believe that's the case here, because there were 6 people total in just the 10 minutes I was inside NOT wearing face coverings. I would rather support another local business that follows the rules for everyone's safety.

The coffee and cookie were great... The Atmoshpere and Anxiety were not... On my one and only outing here, there was some sort of ordeal with local law enforcement. I do not know what happened but the police were called in due to some disturbance. Not a great environment for a calm drink and chat with friends. I imagine this doesn't happen daily. Still not a good experience overall. Besides that, they certainly dont have competitive prices. I may give it another shot. But I may not. I wouldn't make a decision to come here or not based on my review alone.

Honestly, mine just stemmed from an experience working there. The owner doesn't know how to treat people, and doesn't really create a friendly or open environment for people. My advice? Apply to Tim Hortons. Because here you won't know you're fired until you haven't heard back in a week, or are being pushed close to tears by overly harsh commentary. Or not be told at all. Which, as far as I know, is against labour laws.

While the food and drink are OK (meaning nothing special) its the price and overall air of unwelcomness that you recieve from being in here that gets me. If you were looking for coffee in downtown Cambridge I would suggest going somewhere else. Anywhere else.

The service is great and no waiting at the side of counter... they will bring your order to your table. This is perfect for me. I'm a student at laurier with a lot of hmwk and readings to complete. I enjoy coming here for coffee and breakfast so I can relax and read or do my hmwk. They offer a variety of food and coffee is delicious. Always great customer service!

I came to the Coffee Culture in Brantford ON on a Sunday. At 9:30 pm they told me they were closing in 30 minutes. When I look online and on the door for hours it says they close at 11. Are they able to kick customers out before they close? How rude

First time visiting, got the usual blend coffee black and it was delicious. Nothing needed to be added. Atmosphere was cozy and the food tempted me but I resisted...this time... seriously it looks fantastic

I’ve been coming here for years, I love the food and the atmosphere. Everything is very clean and the staff is always nice. However I stopped by for the first time during Covid and I’m a little surprised. The girls are not wearing proper masks, they were given the small short clear masks that don’t actually do anything - not to mention they do not reach above the nose and barely cover the mouth. There was no hand sanitizer either but I was mainly concerned about the masks. I love the place, but apparently after reading the other recent reviews I’m not the only one who feels this way... They should wear proper masks like everyone else who works retail/food (like myself) have to... I probably won’t be returning until after pandemic/mask bylaws are no longer in place.

This coffee shop is EXCELLENT! I visited based upon the recommendation of a family member and I wasn't disappointed. The muffins are some of the best I've ever had (especially pistachio) and the lattes taste better, richer, than Starbucks. I am definitely going to frequent when I am in Winnipeg and look forward to trying more of the menu. I also appreciate that they have stuck to requesting their patrons wear masks and are taking current pandemic health concerns seriously.

The location overlooks a city Square which is a water park in the summer, with outdoor performances and movies. Great place for coffee, meeting up with friends, reading alone, or getting a little studying done. There is wifi there, just ask them. They have plugs in many spots for those of us who need tech with you. Food and coffee are yummy. They've got the cream of potato with bacon with is the ultimate best soup ever! Only thing they don't really have there is ice teas of different sorts. Overall, great place!

My wife, her sister and I have been to Coffee Culture Cafe on Pembina Hwy several times in the past few months. We have enjoyed breakfast, lunch and “just coffee” on our visits. The coffee (both hot and iced) is excellent. Delicious muffins (some of which we also took out). The various salads are fresh, crisp, tasty and ample. The sandwiches are served on a variety of fresh bread (toasted or not) and they are delicious. The interior design is not that of your typical coffee shop. It is very comfortable. And we especially appreciated the care taken to make sure Covid restrictions were followed when we were there. Masks were required to be worn by us and other customers; hand sanitizer was readily available; and staff were all masked. All in all we’ve enjoyed our visits and will be back again.
