I am a huge fan of Artigiano, especially their Whistler location. However, my visit here was very unpleasant. The cafe was filthy, I ordered some egg bites and asked how they would be warmed. The cashier said she didn't know and walked away. I waited for here to come back and take my order, but she ignored me! I walked out and went to Starbucks. Love Artigiano but won't come back to this location again.

First of all, there's no menu displayed and you are having to wait for a staff member to just place an order because they are busy at the bar. Second of all, service times are incredibly slow, too slow just for simple drinks from the bar.. Too much time wasted waiting.

I don't like coffee, so I always grab a hot chocolate, with whip cream. This was my first visit to this cafe and I would not recommend the Hot chocolate, the drink itself has almost no chocolate flavor, and the whip cream is also flavorless, so if you want a cup of hot milk this is the drink for you.

I don’t know why but there is a lady staff with red hair who is always rude to customers. On multiple occasions, she made my coffee orders wrong and didn’t follow clear instructions. Instead of apologizing, she would start throwing things around and knocking on machines with anger.

Excellent high quality espresso and great service. Two shots will run you $3. While a little on the pricey side, their food is delicious with plenty of healthy offerings. I'm a fan of the Tuscan breakfast wrap. Try the traditional macchiato (just don't expect a bunch of whip cream and caramel)

For the third time yesterday I have ended up leaving this place before I ordered my coffee. Went here with 2 other friends and after waiting in the line up for almost 13 minutes (only 2 other people ahead of me) and waiting for some acknowledgement from a non-responsive cashier (who walked away when my turn came up ... Without courtesy to explain or make eye contact to let me know he's coming back to take my order) I gave my place to the lady behind me. The coffee is still great ... The pastries are now mediocre and sitting on the counter in an open space. The service was what I used to come here for and over the last couple of years it's just gone down the drain. It's not often I leave a negative review and I'm hoping that management does take notice and does something about it as this was a great coffee joint here in our community of West Vancouver.

Coffee, in my opinion, is the best you can get. I even bought a 1/4 pound of Esmerelda when Artigiano first opened. You may recall that it was the $15 / cup promotional coffee. My wife and I split a cup and it was better than I expected, even for $15. Now, years later, the regular coffee doesn't disappoint. Unlike the burnt beans of one chain, these beans are silky and beautiful. The service here is generally good but can be hit and miss (including the friendliness factor) I think some of the staff is more concerned with being cool, on occasion. But you can't argue with the coffee you are served. The layout is unusual but unique. There was a recent renovation that made things cleaner and more refined, but it lacks a strong identity.

Excellent coffee!!! If you are tired of weak coffee, this is where you need to go. Their house brew is rich, full, and fruity and their pastries are decadent. I tried their leek croissant, banana loaf, and lemon loaf. The croissant was flakey, buttery, and yummy! The loaves were rich, moist, and sweet! But watch out...because you WILL bump into a lot of patrons in line. The construction is kinda wonky with a narrow customer passageway.

Anyone who thinks this is the best coffee in town needs to visit Monogram or Rosso. Artigiano isn't really a specialty shop. The drinks are massive, the milk is FAR too hot, I could go on. Better than Starbucks for espresso based drinks, but not great.

Artigiano was good when they first opened 15 or so years ago. It has gone so far downhill it's not even funny. I went to the Park Royal location on Saturday, waited 5 minutes to order (in a fairly short line up) and ordered 2 drip coffees. The girl wandered away after I ordered without saying anything or taking my money. I stood there for about 2 minutes watching her do something (?) then have her come back with a single cup of coffee and an explanation that they had to brew another pot and it would take 5 minutes. I told her I'd like to have both my coffees at the same time since I'd like to enjoy it WITH my friend rather than tag team coffee drinking. Finally got out coffees and they were barely hot and tasted like garbage. I wont be going back, I've given this place too much money and too many chances.

I rarely leave bad reviews but after we ordered a traditional cappuccino that had no foam whatsoever, we were served a cold latte with milk all over the side of the cup. When we asked for a refund the guy at the cashier told us “we don’t care if you go somewhere else”. I’ve been coming to artigiano for a long time, it’s a shame it has gone so downhill.

I can’t say enough good things about this small friendly cafe in the Park Royal Village. I use to be a Starbucks fan, but ever since I tried Caffe Artigianos Coffee & Latte I have never gone back!! The staff are absolutely nice & friendly. The place is busy at times but extremely clean!!! The Manager is very knowledgeable about his beans & comes to each table to make sure everything is good. I’ve never been so impressed & def. recommend going & trying their oat milk latte.

The Caffe Artigiano makes the best coffee I have ever tasted, period. Especially the best Cappuccino, with a very tasty milk foam and a very nice pattern poured into it - they have a choice of twenty, and if the barista really likes you, she may pour the form of a heart. Not sure if this is a cue to ask her phone number. They also serve some decent food items with it, suitable for breakfast and lunch. Being on the ground floor of the Shell building, there will usually be a long line of employees in need of a caffeine boost.

Coffee itself is ok, but the staff got every order ahead of mine wrong and, subsequently, my Americano took about 15 minutes. The space is very small during busy periods, so other customers don't seem to have a lot of space to move around each other. The bar area was also very messy. The place has potential, but the staff could use some retraining.

Hot chocolate is simple and normal drink you may think. But Cafe Artigiano serves a unique choco which taste not too sweet, not heavily on cream and no residue at the bottom of the cup. Their choco banana bread also good, moist but not just sweet. I always look forward to going back❤️

Upon entering the non-busy shop with approx 3 patrons already seated and enjoying their orders, I had to wait for the inattentive server to return to the front from chatting with her coworker in the back to input our order (6 very basic drinks). The barista then painstakingly prepared each drink at a snail's pace, I almost wanted to hop behind the counter and commandeer the espresso machine just so they could finish up their conversation. Behind the counter was an absolute mess, spilled milk, dirty rags flung atop carrying trays, and espresso grinds everywhere. I'm sure even an eye roll would be a tall order with these girls. Unenthusiastic is an understatement. If you don't want to work in a coffee shop go elsewhere! Step it up Tabby.

Although the coffee is very good, I was disappointed by the service. I remember it being much better but the past few times I have been in there, it seemed like many of the staff were unsure what they were doing, especially the cashier, which made things take a very long time and a long line up was forming. I will likely been choosing alternative cafes for the time being. But I do hope things can improve.

Best coffee around... closest I've come to real Italian coffee here in Vancouver. A little description of an artigiano latte - if you could drink velvet, that's kind of what one of their lattes would be like. The baking and food isnt the greatest but it's edible.

I went to the Caffe Artigiano in West Vancouver with my family for first time. Unfortunately the service level was not as expected. Prices are not cheap and you expect a good quality of products. We asked for caramel cappuccino and hot chocolate and they were cold, when we asked them to have them warm the girl making the coffees said that we should have asked for "extra hot" and rolled her eyes. I think when you buy a "hot chocolate" you expect to have it "hot". Anyways, it was not a nice experience.

I have visited this location several times and it's my favourite place to relax or even study sometimes. The staff are extremly friendly and the customer service is on point! I usually order the Spanish latte with a fresh croissant, give it a try when you go there. It is very clean and they follow Covid guidelines. Overall, great management and definately recommend.

They made me something I didn't order and when I told them they said "it still tastes good" ummm ok but that's not what I ordered lol and also everything we ordered tasted horrible and way overpriced.

It's good. Lots of regular customers there. Some of them feel like they are a priority over those that are there less frequently but the staff is good and so is the coffee.

The male barista was nice and apologetic when the FOH staff made mistake. Giving it 3/5 stars due to the fact that the two female FOH cashers are not attentive at their jobs. They are polite, but unsure about some of the coffee we asked. They were talking too much about their non work related instead of focusing to the customers (recommendations, knowledge of the coffee). As a result, both FOH staff forgot that one of our orders is actually out of stock, which the barista already told them before. They did asked us for a substitution anything from the drink menu with no added cost, but it was given in cheaper and plain white coffee to go cup.

The person with red hair clearly does NOT want to wipe the table. She showed frustration to the customer. The worst thing was...she even was eating something over the counter while she was working - obviously did not wear mask when she was eating.. She seemed like she could not care less the COVID 19. Considering there are a lot of elderly residing nearby, somebody in charge should teach her how to be more careful around the customers.

Had to wait for cashier to finish texting for quite a while to be served. She wasn’t even trying to hide it. Just standing there texting away while a lineup was at the till. Just had to edit to one star from two as they forgot to even put my sandwich in as the girls were chatting. Same girl who was texting. Clearly she can’t multi task texting and serving. Wow.

Today was the last time I stepped in Artigiano in Park Royal. For the past few weeks, my pleasant experience changed to stressful one because I hardly can give my order without mistakes by the cashier. Then the order coming out wrong most of the time; size, cup or kind of coffee is always changed from my original order. And this last time the barista had her mask bellow her nose and constantly touching her nose and then touches the mugs and the coffee machine! This time I left without having the coffee I paid for. The sad part is that I lost a favourite place I used to go and relax several times a week. I understand that everyone make mistakes but this is a routine practice in Artigiano at Park Royal for the past few weeks. After all how hard is it to make a simple cup of coffee?
