My favourite secret hidden gem! Good food, affordable coffee you pour yourself, laid back atmosphere. Great place to meet someone if you're always late, like me - your date can pick up an old book from the hundreds lining the walls and discover something new!

Used books, coffee, pastries in an old storefront. Cozy, just noisy enough. Good place for meeting 1 or 2 people. There is a large table at the back if you are in a group.

They make a very yummy chai tea latte, though the caramel macchiato can be hit or miss. Still very nice to support local and they have some great gluten free options. UPDATE: Went in today for a caramel macchiato and was rather disappointed in the service today. The lady behind the counter while making my drink was taking customers dirty dishes then going back to touch my cup then grabbing more dirty dishes then touched my lid and cup. I'm not sure if she was having a off day but i sanitized my cup and lid after as it didn't seem like she was being very covid cautious.

The gal working was very friendly and made her own dog biscuits to give to customers! Sooo nice. They have great muffins and other homemade goodies. Fresh soup & sandwiches are delicious as well. They have several different milk types which is always nice :-)

You will instantly feel at home in this coffeeshop cum library cum giftshop cum local meeting place. It's been open since 1996 and a mixed group of patrons come here regularly. Good quality coffee prepared properly with fresh baked goods makes it feel like you're visiting that friend that does everything well.

This long-standing community favorite will satisfy your need for great coffee, hearty breakfasts and lunches, and your hunt for cool housewares and hand-made crafts! Two artists have work in the back gallery, and the walls throughout are lined with excellent gift ware. Friendly staff, good food, nice atmosphere. A great place to meet your friends and colleagues.

I have always dreamed of a “bookstore cafe” and I randomly came across this great store randomly while driving around and it immediately caught my attention. Their staff is awesome (yes I’m talking about Lauren from the UK she’s amazing and so friendly!) and their food and drinks are amazing! The matcha latte is to die for as well as their bagel breakfast sandwiches! Love love love! I can’t wait to donate some of my read books to them so more people can enjoy the wonders of reading and coffee/tea at this awesome cafe!

Such an eclectic cafe that I always enjoy entering! I always get a latte (tea or coffee) which never let's me down! There is great food here (I recommend the avocado toast with red pepper spread on their current menu). Do check this shop out they even have fun items and pottery items to purchase!

The definition of a home style neighbourhood coffee shop - nothing fancy but coziness to work on your work, to read a book or have small intimate chats. It reminds me of coffee shops you would see in small towns. Wonderful customer service and friendly folks. They take the time to make your food and drinks. The coffee here is very well done and strong tasting - had the blended latte (not sweet at all, not overpowered by milk or watered down by ice/water). It bears a great frothy and strong taste of coffee beans - delicious. They offer bagel, sandwiches and baked goods as food. The breakfast bagel with a choice of ham, bacon or avocado on whichever bagel you chose, was presented very well and in a generous portion to leave you filled. If you've had bagels that felt really strong tasting of salt and other flavours, do not expect this here. The food is very clean and healthy tasting (no overpowering flavouring) - a guilt free choice knowing you're eating well here. Good selection of meat and vegetarian options. There is a hidden-ish back patio with two tables, a good amount of seating inside and some outdoor at the storefront. Pricing is reasonable/ average - based on the quality and care they put into the drinks and food, it is worth it.

A great place to hangout. The coffee tastes good and isn't too sweet for those of us that enjoy the taste of coffee (to others, we're masochists). You'll find yourself surrounded by books, browse them at your leisure. There's a plugin for your device, whatever it may be, at the back of the store at a large table. Wifi galore. Other words: cozy and pondering.

Terrible My friend and I were both harassed Saturday November 7 where we met for coffee . We were told to mask while ordering coffee but when we sit the masks can be removed !! How ridiculous The salesperson was extremely RUDE to both of us even though we told her about masks and our health issues . She glared at me and said “ IM MORE COMFORTABLE IF YOU WEAR YOUR MASK “ ITS NOT ABOUT HER AT ALL WE BOTH GOT GLARED AND SNEERED AT WHEN WE LEFT THE STORE !!! FIND ANOTHER COFFEE SHOP !!!

We have been going to Bell's for over a decade and love it every time! The owners are hands-on and always welcoming and the food is always fresh and yummy. From delicious baked goods to homemade soups and the city's best hot chocolate you cant go wrong. This is a hidden neighbourhood gem.

A nice little hole in the wall, great for long visits, with quirky decor, books and a few games to borrow. I found the pastry I had to be completely lacklustre, but my aunt raved about the gluten free sandwich she had. I think the key is to stick to the items made in house (the pastry was clearly brought in) Great selection of teas and coffees though. Would definitely try it again.
