Ok coffee and snacks. Well poured coffee but didn't leave me longing for more
I've been visiting Caffe Divano since their days in Port Moody and their location in Coquitlam, and have always loved it. A great place to study, sip and just relax, this is a place that feels like home. The service is friendly and I've never had a problem that hasn't been remedied immediately. I often go out of my way to visit here over other cafes.
Delicious coffee & food in a great location.
Great neighborhood cafe with good lunch options
Really enjoyed their Oat bar and a breakfast panini. Thought they had good coffee too.
Smart looking, small coffee shop with quality coffee on tap. Staff are friendly and the service quick. Nice pastry snacks and the price of coffee drinks being in the average range. Small cafe size and popularity means seating is often tight at noon. Outdoor tables are very noisey due to Hastings St. traffic and being on the south side of the street you always have shade. Love the overhead coloured light fixtures (a calder like piece). Free street parking on Hastings but be careful as 3pm rush hour limit and the parking enforcers are quick to ticket and tow. A good place to meet up with friends for a good coffee and chat.
The coffee is smooth. No grit at the bottom. Their medium is a bit on the small side imo. The atmosphere is good for cranking through work. Would go back
Super friendly staff! Can be a little expensive but they have food and good drinks and it's close to the bus stop.
Cute shop. Prepare your tastebuds for the all natural (read: sugar-free) beverages though!
They use pallet coffee which is delicious. Snacks are tasty and they have gluten free and one vegan option. The place could be a touch more pleasant, there were quite a few flies and quite warm in there.
Great coffee and most delicious goodies baked in-house.
male owner was rude
Delicious coffee, great service :)
Great coofde, great pastries, great location and free 1 he parking daytime right in front.
Loved the cute latte art on my matcha!
Awesome coffee and great atmosphere. Had a business meeting here and people were more than happy to accommodate us despite their being limited seat selection at that time. Got my coffee with an extra shot and felt it all day, which is what I needed to get bits done. The little biscuits that come with the coffee are quite tasty too
I come here sometimes before hitting up the gym just because it's nearby. It's honestly kind of pricy and the service is nothing amazing. They also put the tip option on their credit/debit machine even though it's not a sit-down table service restaurant. If I'm just getting a black coffee to go I don't think I should be asked to provide a tip. I haven't tried the food here so I can't comment on that but the coffee is good.
One word for these folks - ???? quality ????
Very friendly staff and the pastries are amazing! The carrot cake is so good, give it a try when you go.
Cute little coffee shop with good drinks
Great coffee, food, and space. Very cozy. Personally a huge fan of their music playlist. 5/5 for playing Fleetwood Mac songs.
Solid panini, friendly staff, but relatively pricey for what you get.
Great local coffee shop.
The staff is very friendly and polite. The coffee (black, nothing added) tastes better than classic places like TH, SB or Blenz C.
Delicious food and great coffee. Unfortunately I ordered the chicken club wrap but ended up with what I think is a. Vegetarian wrap with black beans. Not what I ordered, but still delicious xD The chicken club wrap is delicious though when ordered correctly xD
Lattes are good but the brewed coffee I got today was only warm, not fresh. It’s $2.50 plus tips for a small cup. It should be better than McD’s $1 coffee.
Great coffee and tea, fresh-baked items and fresh sandwiches.
Always a great espresso
It is so amazing place. Everybody so friendly coffee so good and Turkey sandwich delicious ????????
Very nice atmosphere, friendly staff team and loveeeeeeee their croissants!! Will visit again~
Each time I visit, my drink tastes different. Very inconsistent. Sometimes it is really watered down.
Very good place!
Nice staff and great coffee. Lots of power outlets for those using laptop.
Chai was bitter and unbalanced. They ask for tip, but don't provide any table side service. Clean interior.
Nice place with an awesome family feel.
I love this coffeeshop.❤ All the coffees I had there are delicious, strong and hot, not watery like Starbucks, the bakery is amazing, everything taste so fresh. And the staff are very polite
Not a bad coffee place, but not the best lattes by far. It's really a place for meeting up with decent coffee and seating.
Pulled pork sandwich was crap and way overpriced. Desserts were good, but similarly overpriced. Get a coffee here, skip the food.
Nice coffee/tea place. Good selection of eats.
Nice place to relax. People serving is great. Good food
We were pleasantly surprised when visiting this Burnaby coffee shop and were met with great service and friendly staff. Not only did we get all the answers to our questions regarding the coffee beans and blends but had a great cup of coffee. Well worth the visit.
Nice little place to grab a coffee or pastry. My mom and I love their scones... I believe they are from Gabi & Jules Bakery in Port Moody. Like the staff there too, Very pleasant.
The place is not big but comfortable. The food is good
Pull a good shot most of the time. Other times very under extracted and sour.
DON'T BUY YOUR DOG TREATS HERE. MOLD! I bought some for my partner's dog and gave the bag to them the same day I bought the treats. Come to find out two days later, they tell me they had to throw out the bag because there was MOLD on the treats and they only realised it after they had given the treats. They threw out the bag and everything to get it away from their dog. Stay away from dog treats here--it might make your dog sick.
Nice coffee and space to sit and chat with a friend.
Good coffee. Very popular
Very enjoyable. Large portions of tasty Ramen.
Offer and fresh baked pies and desserts available yummy
Good food, coffee and service. Bit overpriced but you pay for quality and freshness. Only downfall difference in size of coffees. A cup of coffee to stay gives you at least 1/3 less than the same size of to go cup.
Nice staff and good quality coffee. If you're the kind that likes to spend money on a good cup of Joe, you'll enjoy Caffè Divano.
Great selection of lunch items, delicious Pallet coffee (and beans to go), and friendly staff who know how to handle their espresso.
Most excellent coffee, pastries, atmosphere and conveniently located on Hastings in Burnaby.
Delicious baked goods!
Love their coffee, stand apart from Starbucks
I go here anytime I'm in Burnaby. Try the breakfast sandwich and a quad latte to get the day started right. It's amazing!
Nice place, but very pricy. More than any other local coffee shop. Change way too much for non-dairy milk. Otherwise decent coffee
Good drinks. Sandwiches and Pastries and nice. Not so good service lately though.
Good place for coffee
Nice place to meet for a coffee. Good coffee and also good food and snacks.
Really cozy place. Sandwiches are massive and looked delicious. I had the matcha latte, it's not as matcha as the ones I've tried before. They must have different blend.
The staff are so unprofessional and rude and the coffee is disappointing. This is the latte they gave me! This taste even worse than what it looks (of course I just had a sip). The worst coffeeshop experience I ever had.
Nice little cafe in Burnaby Heights, where there isn't a lot of choice for coffee shops outside of the usual chains. They do their own in house baking which is a nice surprise. They serve Vancouver's 49th Parallel, which is too bad because it tends to be acidic. The space is large and has ample seating, though it is a popular place and gets crowded. Wish there wasn't such a commercial vibe to this place, which makes it feel like a chain.
Great baked goods, good coffee, friendly service!
Excellent coffee and treats.
Friendly staff. Enjoyed my latte and mufin.
Locally owned & house made products. Great atmosphere!
Nice coffee shop have a coffee and relaxes
Stopped here during a mt bike road trip. Was so hungry and a tad hung over. The Tuscan breakie wrap and Spanish Latte I had put me right back in gear. Great service, awesome snacks.
My favourite coffee place. Café Misto was good. Americano was standard. Maui Wowi was pleasant. Atmosphere and staff are nice. It would be even better if they had cleaned up the crumbs off a table
Great coffee and pastry selection. Nice decor with thoughtful details.
Freshly baked goods, delicious sandwiches and good coffee. Attention to detail is very evident in all of their locations!
Ordered chai tea, but they just dumped big tea bag and didn’t tell me when to take it out. It got too thick in a second :(
A great neighbourhood Italian coffee shop. You can get various types of coffee, lattes, and yummy looking pastries and sandwiches.
Great place in seriously the best London Fog I've ever had. Discovered them during quarantine and they take lots of precautionary measures to keep you safe and very clean the minute you leave their table they clean it up. Super spaced out. I saw with a girlfriend and she has an Americano misto and she thinks it's the best ever there as well. One day I want to try the butter chicken pot pies and their baked goods oh yeah they're great to
Great coffee and service is always great. I love sitting outside and soaking in the scenery.
Best service and caffe food around..very impressed with the ambiance and selection of teas...will be back for sure!
We were in North Burnaby area and this was the only place that showed up on PawSwap with a dog friendly patio. We ordered drinks, wraps, and a baked good. We had a couple bites and sips.. and left it all. Food was salty, oily and flavourless. Chai latte was lukewarm water with chai flavour, Cappuccino was horrid. I understand this is a small business but they really need to improve to offer a proper coffee shop experience.
Good quality coffee in North Burnaby.
The owner is amazing. She’s the most friendly person you wouldn’t expect from a big coffee place. And there’s plenty of study space for a student like me. Their food is more than what you would get from a normal coffee shop too
Love the selection of their sandwiches, baked goods (specifically the earl grey scone) Coffee is delicious!
Such a nice place for 1 weak-up coffee everyday. Their coffee is aromatic and strong, much better than starbuck as my opinion, I like strong coffee :). And their pastries were awesome, as well as the cashier ????
I had the expresso macchiato and it was delicious. No need for sugar! ???? Great service as well!
The staff is super friendly! I love the Spanish Latte and Spanish frappe.
Went there a few times and the coffee was disappointing. American misto tasted very watered down, they forgot the vanilla in the London fog. At least their wraps and pastries were good.
Always a lovely little coffee shop and the outside patio has lovely greenery.
Great coffee and selection of treats!
Perfect matcha latte and quinoa salad!
Good coffee and cozy place
The coffee is fine. They use 49th Parallel beans, but the coffee tastes worse than at an actual 49th Parallel. I suspect due to the brewing process. The pastries look delicious. The atmosphere isn't great. The music is irritating and the staff aren't particularly friendly. It feels especially commercial inside. The cafe is frequently filled with loud, obnoxious families that let their children roam freely.
Great service. Awesome staff. Amazing food. And of course COFFEE!!!!!
Always great service and tasty food, both the sandwiches and the baking
Nice coffee, nice ambience, nice location too.
My go-to coffee shop!
Love this coffee shop. Food is good, coffee is excellent. Only knock would be that it is a bit on the pricey side compared to similar coffee shops.
First time here. Coffee is delicious and various cakes offer even gluten free ????????
Delicious coffee, great seating. Rivals Artigiano.
Not sure if he's the owner/manager, but this barista is a shiny example of someone who knows "Random Acts of Kindness"... My second time here, won't be my last.???? Ps - good staff, atmosphere, food and drink. ????
Only got a coffee but the environment is nice and open. Love reading at coffee shops and this is a good place for it.
Our experience was great good lunch great service. 1st time we have been to the location in Burnaby. :))
Good atmosphere, but this is my second time ordering coffee here but the quality was not that great to be honest, i hope they focus on the quality more.
Nice cafe bistro lots of selection in a neighbourhood setting very relaxed and classy at the same time !!
This cafe has easily become my favourite place in the city. The staff is always friendly, coffee is phenomenal (they use beans from Pallet Coffee Roasters), and food/baked goods are great! Divano has always been a reliable pick me up on my bad days and is my go to place for celebrating anything and everything. Keep up the fantastic work guys and see you soon!!
Nice cafe with a good variety of baked goods and non-dairy options for lattes (including my personal favourite, oatmilk). Friendly staff and great service.
Nice atmosphere. Lots of seating. Huge windows, lots of natural light. They encouraged our feedback. Went above and beyond to make my wife's latte right. Great customer service. Great coffee. Pallet coffee is an awesome local roaster.
Really nice looking coffee shop. Right now I am on the search for the best coffee place around Burnaby. I wanted to try out their drip coffee black. Ordered 2 but they only had enough for 1 cup. The other cup they offered my an Americano. Guess they couldn't make another drip coffee pot?? Got 2 steamers for the kids and a Mac and Cheese pot pie. The drip coffee was very sour. This was under extracted and because it was sour really could not finish it. The Americano was so bitter I guess that is why you hit it was sugar and cream. I think they need to work on their pull method. Either the grind is off or the tamper pressure is not right. The steamers the kids enjoyed but they are pretty easily satisfied. The Mac and Cheese pot pie was not good. There was not much pasta in it and there was a lack of cheese. It wasn't even cheesy at all. Not sure I would label it Mac and cheese pot pie.
Many food and hot drink options. It would be helpful if they listed the ingredients in their pastries.
I mistakenly ordered a drink with the wrong milk and the barista was kind enough to remake it. I left a tip for her generousity. Apart from that, the atmosphere is nice and the music is cool.
Very nice cafe. Small , parking is available on the next turn. Very nice staff, good for a gathering. Quiet most of the time
Too loud coffee is okay it’s like a Starbucks
Paninis are tasty and fresh coffee in here.
Quiet and cosy coffee shop, great place to escape the busy city for a moment with a cup of coffee or a grilled panini or a pastry, admiring some artist paintings on the wall ????. Service is great but pricy, count 10$ for a lunch panini, 7 for a breakfast panini, and 4.35 for a small coffee, really small.
Love it. Great atmosphere and staff are amazing. Favorite spot in Burnaby for a latte.
Good tastes
Excellent coffee.. decent snacks ..not the greatest..
great coffee , cozy atmosphere, friendly service
delicious sssspicy loose tea for a good price! staff super nice
Really good sandwiches!
My first and last try. Carrot cake tastes awful. ???????????? Never ever will be back here again as i was so passionate about this place and it disappointed me! 2 stars are only for the cool and refreshing location specially outdoor seats. ????????
Nice selection of teas and treats
Good coffees and friendly staff. Lots of baked goods have nuts and not labelled. Make sure you ask before ordering!
Very slow service. Seems staff are new or they don't know what they are doing
Good coffee and decent food selection.
Staff are great here. Coffee and pastries are nice. This is a good spot because there's nothing comparable in Burnaby Heights neighbourhood.
Comfort warm with outside tables
Good lattes ... Cold Paninis ... even after asking them to reheat.
It's a nice place with fresh products. I tried the berry scone, apple pie and a wrap , everything was nice and sort of home made. The pie was too sweet to my taste, the scone was a bit dry, but I rate them great in general.
Great chocolate chip cookies.
great coffe and staff. closses early
Very nice.
Just a really great place! One of the must try is the Spanish latte!! They have a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and awesome food!!! Just try once and I'll bet you be coming back more often than I am! Dont forget your belly card. 5 stars!
Great food with the exception of the breakfast wrap (says prosciutto - awful deli ham) but everything else is fantastic. Coffee is a step up from Starbucks
terrible ice black coffee, it drinks like traditional chinese medical
Great coffee and desserts, baked on site. Friendly, professional staff.
Great Cafe to catch up with friends. Staff are friendly and food is tasty.
Good coffee and good muffins.
Pretty good coffee shop
Went to study at this cafe with a friend of mine. We purchased all of our food and coffee ($18 worth) in preparation to study, and then the wifi was not connecting. Instead of restarting the wifi as we kindly suggested or offering for me to use the employee wifi to complete my work, they had no suggestions for us. We left after experiencing little to no customer service and no accommodations for the lack of wifi (although the cafe states it has working wifi). Yikes
Nice little coffee shop. Quick service with friendly staff. A little crowded due to students. But otherwise nice
Their crostata pastry was one of the yummiest baked goods I have ever had!!! Mocha was quite good too... but I’ll be dreaming of that crostata!
Great place for quick and great coffee
Coffee is their specialty! My espresso machiado is always on point
The Spanish latte with oat milk is my all time fave coffee in Vancouver
Great chocolate and the customer service is amazing.
Great sandwiches. Fantastic coffee.
Decent coffee (avoid house coffee though), great location with ample seating space. I'd have given 4 out of 5 stars if it wasn't for their super pricey muffins and scones (you will pay close to 4 dollars for a smaller than average sized muffin).
They have amazing baked goods here. Would definitely recommend and I can see it becoming a weekly favourite for me
coffee is fine, but I'd rather have it in a to go cup.
Found out about this spot today and it just became one of my favourites! Cozy area with vintage wooden furniture. Nice place for either studying or a date. The light is slightly dim, so whoever comes here to study may want to sit by the window. Servers are insanely nice! I particularly like the middle-aged woman behind the counter. I didn’t know what to order since this was my first time here, and she did assist me a lot. She didn’t get annoyed when it took quite long for me to decide. In fact, she was very happy and willing to help! She had that upbeat personality that would definitely make your day better! I ordered the Spanish Frappes as she recommended. The whipping cream on top was very soft, which later I mixed with the frapp. One fantastic thing about the frapp was that there was black seeds in there! I don’t know what that was but I’d assume those were sesame. Very interesting yet harmonious combination! Quite pricey for such small portion but the taste, the cafe ambiance and service really made up for it! Will be back again for sure! Five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Great coffee. Couldn't fit my finger in the mug handle. That's my only beef.
Delicious good great customer service
Asked for a medium Americano and got a small cup that tasted like drip coffee... stay away. Starbucks is better and that's saying a lot. Also overpriced bakery goods and sandwiches.
I didn't feel safe in here. :( It is not a big cafe. Why do you allow a group of 7 guys to sit together and also a group of 6 to sit right next to them? I hear them talking about families. Clearly they are not from single households or staying in small bubble. I know it takes guts to tell customers to get out. But, it is one of the responsibilities that restaurants should take during this time. :(
Very good place.Great coffee.
Our daughter lives near by and we go there when we visit her. Always a lovely place to have coffee. Place to sit outside in the lovely Burnaby sunshine. This area is being renewed so lots going on. People here are friendly and very helpful. The apple square is very fruity and has big chunks of apple in it. The crumble on top is divine.
Nice pastries and great tea
Nice environment, better Spanish lattes
My local café, excellent espresso and Panini's.
Staff are very friendly. The coffee is good and the pastries are always amazing
Great coffee shop. Patio chairs out front where great.
Great coffee amazing treats and the staff are awesome!
All the employees are very nice and accommodative. However, the owner of the restaurant, who works at the Burnaby location is greedy and often rude. He also CANNOT make coffee mocha. Coffee mocha is supposed to have chocolate in it. However, he tries to cut corners on the products to save money. Therefore, drinks made by him are pretty terrible. My mom wanted some extra chocolate in her cafe mocha, as she did not like its taste. However, he gave her so much attitude for it, saying that she should have specified it in her order. He told her that it is very very expensive. But, if she paying $5.65 for a drink, which has a much smaller size than Starbucks, she is expecting it to taste acceptable, otherwise, it is not worth buying it. We do not have any desire to come to the Burnaby location again. If they would continue on cutting corners on their customers, they would certainly loose all their clients in their nearest future.
Over priced, cashier/barista was not friendly at all (2 occasions) and she didn’t even get my simple coffee order right. Last visit here.!
Strong flavour coffee ☕️
Good coffee and study atmosphere!
Love love love this cafe! I've been getting coffee/food from this location for years, and you can't not fall in love with Michelle, she and all the staff are wonderful!
Slow service
Staff is REALLY friendly - ignore past posts. Katie was awesome. Food is delicious.
The worst coffee I have ever seen. It was taste just like water and lots of sugar. Do not recommend.
Comfortable coffee house, healthy and decadent food options
Fresh baked muffins! Excellent coffee!
This coffee place is awesome!!!
Love the baked treats and seasonal drinks!
great little coffee chain
Nice place. Not great coffee. But great staff
Lovely place to spend the day working away while being accompanied by great coffee and pastries. Spacious layout and interior. I like the way they designed their coffee shop. Everything feels like home. Calming environment makes doing work a lot better. Been supporting this place for over half a decade and do not plan on going anywhere else.
Great coffee and variety of desserts and sandwiches
Good coffee and nice sandwich.
I tried the sugar free peach vanilla smoothie. Delicious and great service as always!
