The sandwiches are seriously great and this place has the nicest staff ever. Also their Machiatos are fantastic! Just be prepared for a slight wait and note that i would recommend to order all the delicious things they have and stay away from the croissant, those are the one thing there i did not like (;

This is, in my opinion, the best sandwich place in North Burnaby. I recently had the "Grinder" sandwich which has salami, prosciutto, dijon mustard, provolone cheese, caramelized onion. It's served on a nice fresh loaf from the nearby bakery and the whole thing was absolutely delicious. The next time I go in I'm going to try the grilled cheese. Whoever put this place together put a lot of effort into every aspect of the planning and execution. The ambience is very classy, the staff are super friendly and the menu looks really inviting.

These guys are amazing. I'm here visiting my partner and we had an impromptu stop at the Shopping Centre and discovered ambit. We opted to both get the Supernova sandwich, and a Gingersnap. HOOOOLLLYYYY was the Supernova delicious, the arugula and onion adds such a nice bite that compliments the Roast Beefs savory flavour. The bread was perfectly toasted. We were served by Justin and Taylor, they were super friendly and seemed quite happy to be serving. Having moved to Canada from the US fifteen years ago, I have had a hard time finding unsweetened iced tea, leading to me asking some odd questions if I think I've found it.. they were good natured, jovial and incredibly kind. Definitely glad we stopped in for a bite <3 Fantastic food and fantastic service.

Omg love this place. Recently they have updated their cafe to a more modern and trendy place to be...as well as changing the bagel menu, which is a bummer... but it's still nice and worth trying out! Before the change, I ate their bagels all through my first trimester of pregnancy, it's all I could eat. Bring back the CLASSIC BREAKFAST BAGEL!

Ambit has a Great concept with clean cozy cafe. I believe there has been a change of ownership in Mar 2020? We have been here when the old bagel shop had change of ownership then and had a downgrade of food quality.Now it’s visually appetizing with Healthy delicious combo of menu. Veggie breakfast wrap is spot on! Wish they opened in the evening too but weekend brunch will do!

This was our first time trying this place. My husband and I just wanted a quick sandwich to share. One sandwich took 15 minutes. There was barely anyone there and to call the 13 dollar sandwich puney is being overly generous. They asked if we wanted it mild or hot. We said mild . It was not mild. I hate to imagine what hot means to them. I couldn't eat it and we gave back the frequent flyer card they gave us. We won't be needing it. Too bad.

Neat ambiance, a cute cafe. However my partner ordered the matcha latte and it tasted like warm milk. I could barely even taste the matcha. The drink was actually white with a hint of light green, so I’m guessing I tasted correctly. Convenient location but not great products.

Great Cafe....ordered the Avocado Stack and Chicken cosmos and both were very fresh and tasty. The match frosty is super creamy tasting...almost like a milkshake!

Avocado toast was the best I’ve ever had. The mango smoothie - the same. So so good. We also love the treats - especially the lava cake and the chocolate dipped peanut butter cookies. Super friendly staff.

The young lady taking order was very nice and friendly, and the other workers were ok too, however, my latte was burn-your-face-off hot, which a latte should never be, and overly frothy. The bacon wrap was very bland and greasy, with over cooked eggs, under cooked bacon, no vegetables, cheese or condiments... 2 stars for service and ambiance, but I didn't enjoy any of what I ordered, so that's, unfortunately, all I can give...

Great place for sandwiches. Has a good neighbourhood vibe. Hopefully it won't go the same way as some of the other coffee shops in the area where all the seating is monopolized by students with their laptops. The last few times we have been there for lunch - all the seating at the front has been taken by people NOT EATING and sitting there working on their laptops.

Decided to grab a coffee with my girlfriend because the place looked really cute and we both loved the design of the cafe. The lady at the cashier greeted us with a smile and then we said "Just give us one minute to decide." Her smile then turned a bit sour. When asked what the drink consisted of, she had to get help due to the lack of knowledge, which is fine. Even her coworker was giving us unpleasant attitude. When my girlfriend accidentally dropped her phone, they both started laughing at the matter. That's not the way a customer should feel walking in, not respected and mocked. It would be the equivalant of us laughing at her lack of knowledge. Clearly the staff need training on how to greet and treat customers so they feel valued.

People there are so sweet!! And the food and drinks are really good!!! HIGHLY recommend the chocolate drink. Legit the best thing you will ever taste. THEY ALSO HAVE AN ART GROUP!!!

Used to be a peanut butter jam sandwich guy, but now that I've discovered Bagel Coffee House, I've become much more 'hip' in my carb intake. To start, the baristas are genuine and really inviting. The lattes are made with care, as are the sandwiches. The prices are competitive but there are premium options. The student special with bacon is my favourite. In summary, great little local cafe to support!

Just needed a sandwich. Decided to go for something called a Grinder. Costs $12+. So I expected something special for that price. Gosh...what I got isn't worth even a couple of dollars. Such a disappointed. How dare they charge $12 for this.

Don't be fooled by the contemporary interior design, this place is garbage. Staff are rude, food is sub par and extremely overpriced. Do yourself a favour and buy a sandwich from Safeway instead.

The worst food i may have had. Dissapointed for sure. I dont think the other reviewers ate at the same place. The eggs i assumed would be cooked. But there foamy soggy and microwaved. The meat was cold and the "melted cheese" was microwaved to. If i wanted a sub par sandwich i would have made it myself. Oh and the coffee was not fresh. I mean coffee and bagels are legit the only things you do. And you messed up both. *slow clap* ???? ???? ???? I should have went to dons. At least they cook their eggs.
