Love the environment and the service. They always come up with a new feature or promotion. Good times with family and friends. <3 Did I mention they have live music every weekend? This is the best place to have a coffee, relax and have conversation with friends. Their hours of operation also makes them stand out. they close at 10pm on weekdays, 9pm on weekends. Staff is always super nice.

Great little cafe in downtown Burlington to just chill and hang out. The pastries are really great and highly recommend. I felt the coffee could have been a bit better but that’s because I am a bit of stickler when it comes to great coffee. Make sure to order the macrons! The place is very convenient and located in the heart of the downtown food district in a very quaint location .

Lola's is such a cute little place to go if you have a sweet tooth and are craving something sweet! Or, even if you just want a nice warm tea! I went there 3 times opening week because I just couldn't stay away. The truffles are amazing and the drinking chocolate is to die for! The service is also fantastic! They let you have small samples which is great! The prices are a little on the high side and I think they should have deals if you are buying a certain amount of truffles (because I buy quite a few) but other than that I definitely recommend!

The drinking chocolate is to die for. If you go for only one reason let it be this one. Beautiful sweet cafe in the heart of the Village Square in downtown Burlington. I love the eclectic chairs and two levels of seating. The people working there are extremely friendly and even played with my friend's baby daughter as she crawled around. The desserts and cookies are excellent with quite a few healthy / vegan / gluten-free options too.

We wanted to order the drinking chocolate which the girl working last night said was not available because they are closing soon. We arrive about 9-9:15pm and they close at 10. She seemed eager to close shop already. So I just ordered a cappuccino which she made extremely fast. It was the worst cappuccino I have ever had. We thought it would be a cute (the decor was cute though!) mama and papa shop and after reading the amazing reviews, came to try and show support of a local shop but we left extremely dissapointed. As interested as I am to try the drinking chocolate, probably won't because of the service and that she could not even make a cappuccino right.

Checked out this cute little spot with a few friends. It's just the perfect atmosphere and ambiance for hanging out with friends and drinking specialty teas. The employee asked if I was okay being served in a mug since they were closing. We came in an hour before closing time...so it seemed she was just eager to close...It was my first time so I didn't know what to expect but I was initially disappointed. I had no idea that I could be served nice tea pots and tea cups. Anyway, a few minutes later, the owner came by and was disappointed that we weren't served in tea pots. I appreciated that gesture. She seemed so friendly and welcoming and really wanted us to have the real experience. She even brought honey for my friends to put in their tea. I'll be coming back to experience it properly and will update my review then :) I'm giving it 5 stars for the owner's service and ambiance.

In love with the ambience of this lovely cafe. Located in the village square , this is a perfect spot to grab coffee after walking along the waterfront trail. Visited on a beautiful sunny day and they had lemonade with different flavors and it was awesome. Also the affogato shot is worth a try.

Nice setting, nice staff, a little hidden away. Came by in the heat of July for a date. Had an iced vanilla latte which was okay, nothing special for the price. The lemon tart filling was like glue and not sweet. We also ordered chocolate bon bons but again, not very sweet. We got one of each type available that day and split the cost because it’s expensive. In total, (2 drinks, 2 tarts, and 10 chocolates) we spent ~$60. Willing to try again, but the coffee and tart are my go-to indication items when I see them on menus.

This cute shop is a bit hidden but it's a cute gem once it's found. We had gelato, cheesecake and hot chocolates. They're yummy and the cheesecake is not overly sweet. Staff are friendly and seems like they're happy to be there. Ambiance of the place is cozy- very cute.

Great place! Super cute. Amazing hot apple cider. We arrived at 7:20 lady at the front made it crystal clear she wanted to be out at 8pm. We said no problem. Someone was upstairs and asked for another drink around 7:30. She said she cleaned the machine already and basically said no. And gave him somthing else he seemed disappointed. If your sign says til 8, I feel like I should be able to order most things until close. Over all nice and cozy, only thing I'd suggest is diming the lights in the evening. But besides that l highly recommend Lola's!

Would give zero stars if I could. Extremely rude employees and managers, I waited over 10 minutes for a simple latte that cost over $5. I also got a scone and asked for it heated up and it tasted expired, they advertise everything as fresh but everything tastes like regular Tim Hortons food (actually much worse). When I finally got my latte it was cold and tasted like regular old drip coffee it was the worst latte I have ever had (even Tim Hortons coffee tastes better). Would not recommend to anyone, they are scamming. When I asked for a refund or to remake my drink and scone they said no and started arguing with me. I had a horrible experience, would encourage people to stay away. I went there multiple times and each time I was severely disappointed.

I paid $11.50 for two (very) small scoops of ice cream and to call what I received ice cream would dishonour the notion of ice cream. This was perhaps purchased as a no-name item in NoFrills or Dollarama if you ask me.

I've made an effort to supported this local business with weekly purchases but today will be the last. We came here to grab a drink. We sat down at a table off to the side and wanted to finish our ice cream before going in to order. A man WITHOUT a face mask (guessing its the owner) came right up to us, (no social distancing), to say "the tables belong to businesses this is not a food court." I didn't bother to say anything as that approach is simply rude and all kinds of inappropriate. Certainly there are more tasteful ways to inquire to when we will make our purchase. To rate the food from my previous visits, the desserts are generic: the tarts and mini cheesecakes are the quality of those at the grocery store. The drinks are subpar, coffees lack aroma and the hot chocolate is uneventful. The coffee shop around the corner has a much better quality bean, and certainly exercise more tasteful manners. I believe in supporting our local businesses but here, I'd advocate to support businesses that respect and appreciate their customers. To this man, regardless if you are an employee or owner, approach everyone in a respectful manner as its a reflection your own character and your business. And for goodness sake WEAR A FACE MASK.

Lola Choco Bar is a calm and nice place to have a coffee. In Lola you can get Bosnian coffee and good desserts. While I was there service was slow. Kind girl had to take care of cashier, serve, making coffees, cleaning.

Having been here before and falling inlove with the experience and dessert,I decided to come back with my mom on Tuesday, September 15 at 2:30p.m. Unfortunately the lady who served us was not friendly and quite rude. It made my mom and I feel uncomfortable, and quite honestly discriminated. My mom and I were polite and said thank you every opportunity we got but each time we felt dismissed - the only time she replied to us was when she asked what we wanted. This now has left a completely bad taste in my mouth - instead of being excited to eat our dessert, we both left the store pretty sad.. We will be not returning.

My boyfriend and I went for our first visit to this great find we found out through Taste of Burlington. It's in the heart of village square which is a neat little secret nook with restaurants and businesses. We got the "all about chocolate" special which included two fancy high tea cups with premium drinking chocolate, one truffle for each to choose and 100g bag of premium chocolates which had a mix of chocolate covered cherries, blueberries and jujubes. We partook in the complimentary glasses of fresh lemon water which helped cleanse the pallet. Everything was so rich you only need a little and all for the great price of $15+tax (a steal of a deal on this limited time offer). The old style Victorian era tea house was very nice, two levels of seating. Wasn't super busy which was nice so we had a nice conversation with each other and the couple seated to the table next to us. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We will definitely be going back in the summer for their gelato. A must try if you never been to get a bit of the European experience.

Would really love to support local business but charging $3.25 for a little truffle that didn't have any real flavour and tasted fermented was extremely disaappointing . I've had far higher quality truffles elsewhere. Giving 2 stars because the lady serving was helpful and it's a beautiful location in Burlington. But would never part with my hard earned money on their inferior product again.

Disappointed... We ordered the Bosnian coffee and it came half full in a disposable paper cup. The coffee, therefore, tasted like paper and the bottom was full of grounds. We were sitting in the patio so part of the experience is drinking from an actual coffee cup (especially for $6). I've been to many other coffee shops during covid and got served in a proper coffee cup.
