I like this store! Its larger than one might suspect and the inventory changes with the seasons so stock up. The grocery section is handy. You can get some incredible deals on clothing. Bedroom slippers when winter comes? Picnic and garden faves for summer? Their buyers at corporate know what sells. Friendly staff always. A good supplier for drinking water refills, containers which I appreciate as well. This GT is particularly- a great one. I recommend 110%.

They’re like a mini Walmart. Been going here for many years and they have a good variety of products. I wouldn’t buy fresh food here, as it isn’t fresh and probably expired. I bought corn on the cob a couple weeks ago here and every single one was rotten. Just go to a proper grocery store. The staff is pretty helpful and friendly. Although I do wish they’d get self checkouts because I feel slight judgement from the cashiers when I check out. And they should have cheaper prices for the quality of their products.

It is an alright place to shop but I think some of there cloths are cheaply made and fall apart in 2-3 months. Also I don't think they check the dates to closely on their food products. I have gotten soar milk there and stail bread.

I've been going to Giant Tiger my whole life & really love the reasonable prices, great selection, & product quality---which has improved over the yrs. Originally the Brockville GT was downtown on King St when I was kid, but was moved about 10yrs ago to the current location centrally here, which used to be a Biway & then Dominion grocery store before that. GT is a small-scale department store with a little of everything. The Brockville location has a good fashion section, especially for women, a really nice home decor section with bed, bath & kitchen items, plus curtains & small household furniture & appliances. In the back is a small grocery area with basic brands & items. Often GT has sales on items that are lower than the other grocery or department stores. If u havta return or exchange something there is no time limit, & staff are friendly too. In the spring & summer they put out popular items plus garden baskets outside at the front door. I love their seasonal low-priced hanging flower baskets & little indoor plant pots!
