Nice place if you like to be around many people. This place is always packed. Most of the people spend few bucks to buy one cup of coffee and seat with their computer here for hours. Totally utopian business strategy for the owners, but great atmosphere if you want to do homework or study. The coffee is of decent quality, but don't expect Revolver type.

Ordered a tea, delicious matcha blackberry dessert & a cold brew for my friend. The cold brew came hot (I don't drink coffee so maybe I don't understand the lingo). They whipped us up a cold surprise at no charge, which my friend really enjoyed. Staffs always nice. Place is clean. And I like how they give you a buzzer when they're busy or your drink takes a bit to make.

I had an iced latte here which was very smooth and tasty. However, just a heads up that the seating capacity has been limited to half of the cafe and that there’s now a rule that you can only be seated for an hour at a time. After the first hour, you have to order something else to stay longer. I would’ve loved to stay longer since I did intend to get some work done but ordering something every hour seemed excessive. Overall not an ideal place to study / work.

In short: good coffee, great space, bad mille crepes. Love the space, wide and relaxing. It's spacious enough for a crowd with power outlet for laptops and phones. Parking is convenient, plenty of space for everyone. The coffee was good, but not as great as I expected. Nevertheless, the temperature was perfect. Good latte gotta have the right hot temperature that's enjoyable and not tongue burning. The cake...was the reason of being 3 star instead of 4. I ordered the Matcha Mille Crepes. It was not made fresh, and judging by its texture, it was sitting in a fridge overnight. The thin layers of crepes that were supposed to be tender and mesmerizing, turned out to taste like cold, super thin, uncooked naan that held a grudge for being left alone overnight in a dark refrigerator.

Always busy full of students with laptops or playing video games, very difficult to find a table to sit, and when finally somebody left a table empty, it had only one chair; saw 2 parties of 3 people walk away a few seconds after entering the place when they realized they had no chance of sitting, owners should do something about it, they are loosing money, most of the students lingering consumed a small coffee hours ago and keep the empty cup on sight to show they are paying "customers"

Very busy place! The parking lot can become very full quickly due to all the other business that are attached to the same building. The customer service was nice , and they had a buzzer system to let you know when your order is ready. I ordered an iced coffee and scone. The scone was very very dry. And the butter given to me was still frozen so I wasn’t able to spread it very easily. I would also say that there really wasn’t much food or bakery items to choose from. The coffee I ordered was alright, I wouldn’t say anything special. Most seating is taken, so come a bit early to make sure you can find a spot.

Well. I went there just because it has good reviews but once there... they dont have any sandwich.. when I asked they said they only have sausage something (I dont eat sausage) and plain croissant. I had the spanish latte, which was delicious (latte sweetened with condensed milk). The matcha tiramisu was unfortunately quite bad. There was no flavor at all, and the icing/frosting must have been very old as the texture was like old liquid glue. My friend had the matcha layer cake which was similarly very bland and not worth the 7/8$. The place smelled a bit like bleach throughout (yuck) and was pretty busy ; it seems to be a popular study hangout. I do like the buzzers they give you that ring when your food/drink is ready. I would only come back for a quick grab n go coffee.

Been here a couple times now and it's very nice inside, spacious and has an outlet at every table by the walls. The staff are decent. A lot of people come to work/study here. I got the Italian soda in kryptonite which is very delicious and probably my favourite drink here. Tried the watermelon and pomegranate Italian sodas before but they were alright. The mango tiramisu cake isn't very good but the regular tiramisu is better.

Very loud filled with students that stay for hours on end. Mediocre drinks, but the male barista made a solid Spanish latte. Edit (after a couple more visits): Most regulars that come here know that the owner can be quite rude, which isn’t a huge deal because that could just be her personal problem. Although, I will not accept her talking down on me and my contemporaries. Will never be coming back. I wish I could do negative stars because if I could, it would get a solid -5. Just because you’re the only stand alone cafe in guildford area doesn’t make you the best cafe in guildford.

I don't recall Coffee Monster in Coquitlam being this good. The chai affogato was an excellent two scoop delight, and the crème brûlée top was properly caramelized and crunchy. The space is well lit, with power where you need it and actual restraint demonstrated in the volume of the music. I do wish that they had some options on the menu that wasn't just sugar—it would be more accurate to think of this place as a dessert cafe. But all in all, excellent.

Decent Coffee bean, their Spanish coffee is definitely a good treat and not to mention a variety of sweets on the side! The menu is a bit of a mess due to the cafe following the "little bit of everything" theme. Most overseas based cafes or local startups that follow this kind of menu design usually put too much information in front of you due to how competitive dense city cafes have to be. Unfortunately for me I don't feel it translates well for a local cafe although the locations are set in denser Korean populations here and with that that's a warning for someone looking for a coffee experience and not just a study/hangout spot. Atmosphere and design is open and simple, very nice for space(Guildford location)

The chair for long-time seating (doing papers, etc) are not the best since it's kinda small and hard. The tables in the middle area also don't have electric socket available. The drinks, the prices are decent and the taste is decent too. Nothing is really memorable yet to make me want to recommend it to a friend. But for a standard hangout place, it's quite acceptable.

Local, family owned cafe that tries hard to make quality innovative drinks. They have good hours, lots of seating and are striving hard to keep their business running whilst providing a necessary outlet for people to meet, study etc. I say necessary, because lost in the Covid situation is the damage done to mental health for so many people who have nowhere to go. Meanwhile, mega companies like Starbucks have shut down their seating despite no requirements to do so. I hope this pays off for this local Canadian owned cafe. I appreciate their effort to survive, to provide great drinks and desserts and to be one of the few to think about their customers first. I would encourage others not to support the big brand American chains like McD, Tim Hortons and Starbucks, support the local cafe or one day you'll be living in one giant Costco world due to this reset.

My go to place now. I have a hard time studying/working at home so this is really close by and convenient for people who transit. There are plugs all around the walls. Amazing hours that open at 9 AM and closes at 10 PM. Their table and seating places aren't great but give you enough room to put down a laptop and textbook. I also like their music playlist that is from the movie Always Be My Maybe. Good pick.

This used to be a decent coffee place in surrey so I decided to stop by. I’ve noticed the prices have been raised and ow higher than downtown Vancouver. I’ve ordered the black coffee cold brew with hazelnut, but the young guy made it with milk for some reason. He wasn’t happy when I pointed that he didn’t even ask about milk and I am lactose intolerant, so he had to remake it. He took 5 seconds to remake my $5 drink and 95% of it was just ice and water. I could barely taste coffe but decided not to come back. The manager wasn’t there and the boy couldn’t answer my questions about other products. I should mention that I didn’t tip him because of raised coffee prices ($12 for a coffee with a macaroon in Surrey), which probably affected the quality of my coffee and service.

Very broody grumpy girls at the counter both times I’ve visited. They appear to very much dislike their customers and were unfriendly and unsmiling. The second time here we ordered water and were going to order coffee as we departed for our walk outside so it would be hot. They approached our table 3 times during our meeting to inform us that we had to buy something or leave. In addition, they stared angrily at as from behind the counter almost out entire stay. We were professional and polite the whole time, very disappointed with this level of customer service. Needless to say we did not make the coffee purchases we had intended to and went to Starbucks instead. Will not be back. Highly recommend they check their customer service strategy. Perhaps they can inform customers who only get water, while at the counter still, of their rule and avoid the drama.

Place is not bad, aesthetically pleasing, bit loud and busy to do studying for me though, tried a few of desserts, most recent was the red velvet cake which was dry and vanilla cheesecake which I found a bit sour taste. I've had better ones from other cafes or bakeries and are the same price range. People working there were not friendly as well.

Worst customer service. Female owner is extremely rude, stingy, and entitled. Ordered a dirty matcha and she made it wrong with too much matcha but when I asked her to remake it, she belittled me asking if I even know what a dirty matcha is. Ma’am, I work at a cafe. Please learn to provide better customer service because this isn’t the first time I’ve seen you be passive aggressive and rude to customers.

This shop is so much better than the big chain coffee shops. The drinks actual taste great and the food options are delicious. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is relaxed. Heads up it can be busy so expect a wait to find a good seat.

If you find starbucks too crowded this is the place to be. I have been here twice in last two weeks and my overall experience has been positive. The staff is friendly and the music is great. Their utensils are eco-friendly. There are outlets all along the walls so if you need one, find a booth. It is a bit pricey but you basically make it back in wi-fi. Again, desserts and drinks are great. (Food is more overpriced with cakes being $7 a piece and macarons that are $2.25 each/ 6 for $12.50/ 12 for $24).Wish there was more hot food though.

PROS: They keep the place clean, there are barriers and outlets between each booth and its one of the only places in that area that actually offers seating (lots of other places have declined seating due to covid) CONS: the two workers there (male and female) are not the warmest people...they don't look like they enjoy what they're doing and they are not the cheery & interactive baristas you would usually expect at a small business coffee shop. They only have one bathroom open (even when the whole shop is full and there is another bathroom available) and require you to use a community key that everyone else touches to access it. They don't allow any outside food or drink which is understandable but is kind of frustrating when they don't offer any other food besides cake and croissants so you're forced to starve or leave to eat and come back only to find your spot taken. They require a 1.5 hour time limit which is also understandable but frustrating when they choose to not enforce it on some days and let you stay for as long as you want but then choose to enforce it on other days and kick you out (even when it isn't busy). The payment machines also ask for a tip which I honestly don't mind because I like to give back and tip other but I find kind of out of line when the baristas are not kind nor doing any other service but making your drink and pressing a button to tell you to come pick it up. Message to Owner - I know this is an overall negative review and I'm not trying to take down your business or attack you. I am just simply stating my concerns and thoughts that I've kept to myself for quite sometime now. You have a great idea going and your shop is beautiful but please do something about some of the concerns I mentioned. Thank you and hope to come back eventually one day.

I usually come here to meet up with friends and was my go to place to study (pre covid). The set up of the tables with the plugs on the wall is very helpful. The tiramisu and spanish mocha/latte were my go to orders a s they're absolutely delicious! A bit on the pricier side but definitely worth it. Also love the music selection and I remember hanging out here lots during the summer as their AC is on the cooler side which I love. Overall a great spot to go and hangout and thankful they're in my community!

Wanted to say how great the coffee/espresso options are here. The taste is amazing, they use locally roasted beans and are phenomenal. Would give 4.5 stars but only get 4 since they could be a bit friendlier. Great coffee, highly recommend.

It is one of the best cafes in Surrey. The downside is that coffee is more expensive than Starbucks. But the cafe is spacious and it's good to sit down and talk with friends. Another bad thing is that there is a limit to the amount of time you can stay in a cafe. Most of Korean cafes are like that, but an hour and a half seems too short. Also, cakes were too sweet.

I'd put 3.7 stars if it was able to do so. I'm glad there is a coffee shop like this in this neighborhood. Lots of seats, very open space, nice selection of drinks and desserts. Their coffee drinks taste okay, average or a bit above but I'd day some menus flavoured with milk, like Mocha, Spanish latte so on, are a bit over priced.

The ambience is great; staff was young, but very friendly. The espresso was well balanced, with smooth acidity, some earthy notes, and a light mouth feel that lingered just long enough. Hoped more information about the origin of the coffee grains was available though (not a deal breaker). I intend to drop by again before leaving town. You should stop by for your favorite specialty coffee when you can.

This place is great. They've got a lot of seating, the coffee is good and they've got some nice background music going. I think they've cornered the market for students looking to study. It's a good study environment (for me) and open late, which was the main reason I came here. But I'll definitely be back. I don't leave a lot of reviews but I felt like this place deserved it.

Highly disappointed with the customer service and by ownership at BLENZ for kicking us out without even ordering, they were still open for 20 mins but they closed their tills so they could go home early. The literal definition of happy place!! - coffee and work done! - I absolutely fell in love with this cute cafe once I had the chance to experience it!! The interior feels so modern and classic, yet, it is the perfect spot if you are the kind of person who enjoys working in crowded or loud places. The cafe provides various options for desserts and refreshers. On top of that, the mini plants for sale makes this place an ultimate favorite and unique. I personally enjoy their crafted Italian sodas and Oreo cheesecake. The reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because of the customer service. The employees were amazing but a little bit of enthusiasm and positive vibes would be much appreciated ~<3

Went here with my friends after not visiting for years and we were pleasantly surprised. Our drinks were good and the treats were also good. There are so many options of things to order. I don’t know what lemonade/drink I ordered but it was delicious and refreshing. I recommend going in the evening time because there are fewer people and more tables to sit and enjoy your treats and drinks.

As others said it's a nice addition to Surrey, especially for those looking to studying. Im happy with the drink and macaron options. Staff are always friendly. The only thing I wish to see is more sustainable options. For example, mugs and glasses for drinking in store. Or even something as simple as a recycling container to put the sleeves! My friends and I have visited so many times, and I always bring the sleeves home to recycle because it's unnecessary waste to throw it out ????

A trendy coffee shop with clean lines and a cool vibe. This is what Guildford needs. Desserts are excellent. My London Fog was very nicely presented with loads of foam, but wasn't nearly hot enough; I had to ask for it to be re-heated which still really didn't really do the job. Two desserts, one London Fog and one latte...$25.00. A bit pricey but keeps out the riff-raff who would hang around all day.

It is very loud in here and 80% of the seats are taken up by people who don't even have food or drinks, and are just taking up seats to study or hang out with friends. So you might not even get a spot to sit and drink your coffee.

My experience here was okay. The coffee was pretty good, however the service was not very friendly. The cashier came up to my table to ask us the leave after an hour unless we bought something else. She wasn't very professional about it, as she had some attitude and singled out my table and a table next to us. The table next to us inquired about the timing as they had received their drinks about half an hour ago. The cashier pulled up their receipt on her computer and told them they bought it an hour ago; she told them that they should leave unless they made another purchase. The odd thing about it is that she ignored other people from tables around us that had been there longer- I believe because they had friends who bought a drink to join them. Also, there was no other customers waiting for a seat. Very dissatisfied and disappointed with this service. I will not be coming back again.

This cafe is a place I visit a lot and come to regularly for their comfortable studying environment and drinks/food, but I do have to say the staff is often upsetting and even demanding, borderline rude. Out of all the staff working here, there are only 2 that I can say are genuinely accomodating and friendly. The rest seem like they are unhappy with either their jobs or the people they serve. This is unnacceptable customer service and for that, I can't give it more than 2 stars.

It's great that we have a place like this in Guildford now. Lots of great desserts. The macarons are really good. This place and Saint Germain Bakery in the mall are seemingly the only places in Guildford where you can get macarons right now and Coffee Monster has the better ones. The coffee here is fantastic as well. This is a really nice spot to just chill with some friends and talk.

Food was great, prices were good. Service is a bit slow but that's fine. The only reason I'm not giving it full stars was because there was no one wiping or disinfecting tables between users. They didn't even provide a wipe for us to do it ourselves. So I would recommend that you go, but bring your own disinfecting wipes.
