Coffee, teas, espressos and lattes and also protein shakes, all done well here. My iced latte was delicious. They also serve up light lunch and breakfast bites, nothing huge in portion size but enough to take the edge off your hunger. Great spot to get done work done on the lap top or just to relax and people watch.

The drinks tasted good, but got cold very fast. They have so many options for syrup and milk! The cashier was friendly, but got confused easily. The owners or the managers on the other hand, were not friendly or welcoming at all. They weren't very busy, but the service was still very slow. One of the baristas, the wife of the manager, does great latte art, but any and all the others just do mediocre. Another time, I ordered a plain drip coffee, but the boy who poured it for me had to make me a new one because, "something had fallen into it". I'm glad he didn't serve it, but that's disgusting. They order in all their food, so they aren't responsible for how dry it is. All of it looks so good, but the taste is not equivalent. The sitting area is always full, but the staff does not clean after someone leaves, even on a slow day. Overall, the experience was bad, but my drink was good.

I went to the counter and ordered a Naniamo bar and a large coffee and the lady replied "we might not have enough for a large" and so I said a small would be fine. So she poured me 2/3 full small coffee and rang it up. I said to her "I'd at least like a full cup if you are charging me" and said I'll just take the Naniamo bar. Then I asked "arn't you making more coffee" and she said "we're closing soon" (this was at 5:01PM, I had just looked at my watch). I assumed they were closing at five and they were just squeezing me in. I then sat down and watched her serve several groups of people. Then I went up and asked "when are you guys closing" and she replied "8pm". She told me that it wasn't worth making a whole pot of coffee for one coffee. I though that was pretty ridiculous considering they would be open for another 3 hours!!! How often do they make their coffee?!

Staff turnover can be a challenge for the business but also offers great student jobs flexible hours this coffee shop does a good job at managing this. Gf and I got a peppermint moca and a gingerbread latte respectively. The peppermint moca tasted like nothing except for the peppermint sprinkles on top, and my latte tasted of dirt. Couldn't throw either drinks out because the garbage was overflowing. Service was also very slow. Very disappointed.

The place has gone downhill. Not too sure if they have new management. However, the drinks are make very cheaply. They do not put enought ingredients such as matcha powder or dairy. I ordered a matchachillo from them. When they making the drink, I can hear they did not put enough dairy and the blender is not blending well. The whole drink taste like slash from and barely any matcha taste. This is a big downgrade since I had been drinking the same drink since Blenz introduce Matchachillo.

Our family ordered a blueberry muffin, cherry bread and the Mexican breakfast wrap. The pastries were horrible: pasty, mushy and no better than what you find in a low-end grocery store. The breakfast wrap was edible, though we had no idea what we were eating as the only thing that was recognizable was the black beans. Skip breakfast and stick with coffee.

Saturday, January 18, 2014 Dear Blenz Franchise Owner, My son turned 18 today. He was excited to begin his day with a family breakfast at The Bohemian Bagel. We had a great time together, lot of laughs, excellent service, and the food was, as it always is, really great. After breakfast, my son took his sister out for coffee, specifically because he knew he would be treated to a free coffee drink today at Blenz and Starbucks. At about 12:30 pm they popped into your shop on South Pandosy, and were not greeted with "Happy Birthday," or a smile, or anything other than an unfriendly look and less than positive interaction with your staff member. How sad. How disappointing. Both of my kids were shocked. At Starbucks my son was greeted with smiles and happy birthday wishes from the cashier and the barista, as would be expected on a birthday. Perhaps you might look into this for me, as I habit your establishment regularly and have always found it to be warm and inviting. I'd like to think this experience is just a blip that won't happen again. I'd like to think that your gift of coffee would be given graciously. Young people should be treated with respect. Service was friendly. Coffee was TERRIBLE! I had the iced americano, and the taste was off, perhaps the beans? My husband had an americano misto, and it did not resemble an americano misto at all. There was no creme, and tasted like water. There was a kid around 14 -15 making the drinks. I suggest maybe supervising him more closely to insure quality, or perhaps a bit more training. From the looks of other reviews though, it sounds like a reoccurring issue.

Don't bother going there for a sandwich, they will price gouge you, one extremely stale (bread was rock hard), very old egg sandwich $8.39, if you can't serve edible food during this time, don't bother, it's scandalous that you think you can con your customers like this, utterly disgraceful. I've just seen I'm not the only one to complain about the stale egg sandwiches and the ridiculously high prices.....oh and I agree with the general consensus, the staff were lacklustre, maybe consider rebranding to "Blands"

I am unsure what is a happening at this Blenz location but the service is terrible these days. The store will be closed during the "open" hours, the staff will be sitting in the back chatting while customers are waiting for coffee, one of the employees even has headphones in while she is working. The wait times are very long and the store is very dirty. It's a great location, but my guess is it won't be running for much longer as I would guess people would tire of terrible service.

What a great experience by two fantastic owners ! They have continued to serve me in the mall since my relocation 6 months ago, and have served me with nothing but kindness and warmth. The staff alike are well educated and extremely thoughtful on the purchases off the menu, either hot, cold or good items, there is a lot of fun interesting facts behind each one. On top or it all, the two question tip jars are a fun interactive way of reinforcing your own thought process in a cool way. Thanks guys!

When the younger worker cleans up the place, he drags the chairs back to under the tables making such a racket as to make conversation difficult. I order a mocha, not a panda. But I was pretty excited to receive both when my drink was really! The barista behind the espresso machine had his etching hat on and added some extra spice with the latte art. Blenz is a great go to and the staff they have here seem to think so as well. It is very matcha worth a visit and doesn't take a latte time. Make the daily grind a little more enjoyable by visiting this Canadian coffee company!

Extremely dissappointing. A good place to stop by when you need a hot beverage to go. Unfortunately though many of their tables were VERY dirty. I also had to wait a minute to get my order taken because the workers were literally sitting down at the back talking to each other. I've had this same experience multiple times so it wasn't just a one time thing. Hopefully they can get it together because their location and selection of drinks/foods are quite good.

Purchased a regular coffee, that was cold, and when I asked if I wanted room for cream ( said yes just a bit) , I was given a cup that was only 3/4 full. When spending $3 for a coffee that costs less than $1, I would expect that it's at least HOT, and a full cup. First time at this store...and last. Good luck with anyone who goes there.

Blenz is one of my favourite coffee shops in all of Victoria! The owner and staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful. They make some of the best mochas in town and have a great variety of baked goods, sandwiches and snacks. Their smoothies are also delicious! I go there every chance I get.

A small but great place to linger, while just enjoying your day downtown. There's not a whole lot of elbow room in this place, but since it's mostly window seating, you'll likely get a great view of what's going on outside. As a bonus, there's a few sheltered tables outside, which are perfect during warmer weather to sit out of the sun( save the direct evening rays )and enjoy the bustle of downtown without getting elbowed by passersby. NOTE: while there's non-smoking signs out there, sadly there's a few regular grumps who INSIST on lighting up on the patio. Unless you want to taser them for being ignorant slobs, you'll have to move on, or grab a passing cop if you're VERY lucky to see if the grump will pay the fine. Back to the shop: it's clean, with a good variety of beverages and knowledgeable staff who are quick to help you choose wisely. There's a small selection of treats, but those looking for a meal should go elsewhere - this is a coffee shop, after all. Beverages are served up fast, and the staff are willing to go the extra mile if you have questions about things like sugar levels or have other ingredient needs. I like to get together with friends here, to sit in the front windows on a chilly day and just people-watch. It's cozy, usually quiet and you have a great view of the downtown bustle most hours of the day. It's too bad about the smokers taking over the patio outside now and then, despite the signage, but don't let that stop you from coming here regularly: it's a treat.

Not sure about other Blenz locations but this one has matcha soft serve ice cream! The barrista was even afraid they didn't give me enough and ran out to give me a little cup of extra ice cream. That was a welcome surprise. Great place to wait for your ferry and friendly service. I noticed staff cleaned tables very frequently.

There are plenty of plugins for those needing power and lots of comfy chairs to accomodate everyone. The staff here are friendly and engaging, and are speedy with their service. Clearly poor management. I showed up there as a result of a late ferry and they were closed early, about 15 minutes. I understand it can happen, but two guys were working in there and I’d have been happy to buy prepared goods only if they had turned off their machines already. They just showed me away!!! One of my favourite study places in the area. It has a nice bench table along the wall that receives some sunlight and the atmosphere isn't too cold. Drip coffee is refillable and the Belgian brownies are hard to resist.

This place is much like a Starbucks. Same idea, different coffee. This place can get busy at times and at times can be slow. Last time I was here the Service wasn't so good and there was a staff member wearing headphones, which is not paying full attention and working distracted.. driving distracted isn't safe and working distracted doesn't look professional. Not impressed. Grab a coffee and go or sit down and hang out. Comes down to coffee preference, I'm not a fan of their coffee taste. But sometimes I do grab a Java here.
