Lovely and quaint tearoom in the Glenhyrst Art Gallery. Scones, sandwiches (cucumber, egg, salmon), assorted sweets, and Chantilly cream were served on a 3-tier platter. Tea of choice - you can pick a different tea for each person and try each (no charge on tea refills). It is not 'cheap', but do keep in mind the location (and cost of upkeep!). I will be returning when spring has sprung ???? ???? ???? ????

"Because it is important to you, it is important to us". These words from the owner rang true as our experience at the Golden Teapot quickly became an unforgettable memory. Its a strange thing but it is almost as if time itself stops and all that remains is you, your friends and the table full of amazing, delicious foods. I can still hear the sweet piano and guitar plucking away at Fields of Gold. The lush garden view was breathtaking. A very special thanks for the warm welcome and kindness of the owners for remaining open after hours just to host our small party of five. My sister will always remember the enjoyment we shared around that beautiful table. ...If anyone is reading this review and looking to try something new...looking for a way to make a friend feel like royalty... or if someone is desperately searching, trying to relive their first high tea experience...the Golden Teapot is absolutely perfect. Oh, and I highly recommend the Buckingham Palace tea. Truly incredible.

Thank you to Linda and the Golden Teapot for a lovely afternoon! It was such a treat to be able to enjoy the serene atmosphere with low tea, and to have gluten-free and vegan options to choose from. Everything was absolutely delicious, and beautifully presented. So many amazing teas on the menu too! Highly recommended for special occasions and a memorable afternoon in town!

I can't say enough about our experience, beautiful location and a very nicely ordained room. The staff was so super friendly and sweet she definitely made our visit that much better . Now as far as cost it's not cheap for 4 of us having high tea it cost 178.00 with a tip which was very well earned, I didn't stress about the cost because of the quality of the food and the staff experience but keep it in mind not really a budget choice . Free entrance to see the art gallery was included with the cost I will definitely be back !

The place is really cute for a tea party. We had our good daughters celebration and Linda is a very nice person she thinks about all the details for an afternoon tea. There is also a museum upstairs and a nice garden to walk around.

What a lovely spot this is! Linda is a gracious and friendly host. Our scones were served warm with delicious devon cream and preserves. Our sandwiches were delicious! Cucumber and cream cheese, egg salad, turkey with cheese and a fantastic chicken salad!! A great selection of teas, and the atmosphere is really beautiful! An excellent experience! Not many photos taken as everything looked too good to wait!!

Very welcoming and obliging hostess. We were late for our reservation due to getting stuck in traffic but we came to a smiling hostess and warm scones. A really lovely park that you can look into from the large windows that surround the sun room where the tea is served. Thank you!

This was one of the best high tea experiences my wife and I have experienced. Yesterday, on our anniversary trip, we visited Abygail's tea house, which was nice. Today's high tea surpassed our previous high tea experience both in quality and atmosphere. I highly recommend a visit.

Two friends and I spent a very enjoyable Sunday afternoon having High Tea at the Golden Teapot!! The minute we drove through the gates to head up to the Tea House it was simply "love at first sight" and walking into the Tea Room itself was very calming...an oasis. The soft, popular, instrumental music in the background and the barely heard clink of china above the gentle murmur of the other 15 guests were soothing and gratefully welcomed. Linda, the person who served us, was an absolute sweetheart and couldn't do enough for us. The Teas were wonderful, freshly baked scones with fresh peach jam and clotted cream, sweets, crudities and freshly sliced fruits were to die for! Afterwards we visited the Art Gallery upstairs and posed for pictures outside (Tyler the young assistant helped take some beautiful pictures for us) among the splendid floral art sculptures created from so many different coloured flowers. I returned home to tell the rest of my family that we simply have to go back again to experience this amazing soul soothing event. Keep up the good work Linda, Tyler and the gentleman who helped bring all the wonderful edibles to our table, and thank you for a wonderful afternoon!! We will definitely be back.

It was a delightful experience. The tearoom is attached to an art gallery surrounded by a beautiful garden. It is intamate and very relaxing. The sandwiches were extrenely fresh and visually gorgeous. The scones were served warm which shows they look after the details. Linda is the best host one can hope for. Brantford is not close, but we will definitely go back.

Went here with a group. What lovely tea room. The lady who runs it in this cute art gallery is just wonderful. She was so attentive to all our needs The tea sandwiches were tasty as were the scones. This is all served in a gorgeous sunroom on beautiful china. After tea it was nice strolling through the garden and looking at art in museum. I will definitely be back

A beautiful tea room set in an old home on a lovely estate. Large selection of tea, delicious scones and english cream, and wonderful finger sandwiches. When your done with your tea, there is also an art gallery onsite that is very nice to tour. I've been three times now and will continue to frequent and recommend to family and friends.

We had a wonderful time today! The host Linda is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever had serve me. She was so incredible sweet and very particular on details. Everything was so nicely done and tasted so good! Definitely will be returning! Also the art gallery and staff were fantastic!! Definitely would recommend!!!!

The Golden Teapot is elegantly appointded and nestled in the beautiful Glenhyrst Gardens. There is no need for royalty to be in attendance because you will be treated like royalty as you sip your delicious tea from an exquisite selection of teas in fine china. Enjoy the delicious finger sandwiches, scones with Devonshire cream and fruit preserves, baked goodies for your sweet tooth, fresh fruit and vegetable crudites. There is also coffee for the coffee lovers. Both the high tea and low tea are a memorable experience for couples, and friends or treating your mother, grandmother or aunt. I have taken my sister there a few times. It definitely adds a high level of class to Brantford.

Such a beautiful place to go for tea high. Took my sister for her birthday. Delicious desserts, and fresh sandwiches. i had a friend that had never been to high tea before with us. The owner was very informative and friendly to those not who have never experienced it. Definitely worth a trip!

First time at this hidden gem. Quaint, cozy and scenic. Nearby the grand river in a park like setting. High tea was perfect with fresh teas, fabulous food and attentive tea sommelier. (Linda). If I could give more stars I would! I was there on the weekend with my 3 sisters and the Royal Kensington High Tea, was the most incredible experience I’ve ever had for a high tea, (and I’ve had a lot). This was about my 4th visit and I can’t wait to come back!!

My sister, daughter and I went for high tea. Linda was great! But honestly it was too expensive for what you got. The cookies were the size of a quarter. Maybe. The room was very pretty. Our scones were extremely stale...I don't feel any of our treats were fresh... I do not recommend and will not be returning.

Every time I visit the Golden Teapot, Linda exceeds my expectations. Last weekend was no exception when we picked up to go packages due to Covid. She included everything to still make our day special; even a beautiful table centerpiece. I come from Hamilton to visit the Golden Teapot as it surpasses all of the tearooms here. None of them have a Linda! Thank-you so much for always going the extra mile and just being so cheerful - always.
