Ordered 3 piece breast dinner... paid extra for the breasts of course. Got to my motor lodge, opened the box only to find 2 drum sticks and 1 thigh. WAS ENRAGED! Dixie lee, ironically, is popular is French areas of new Brunswick, a fried chicken restaurant chain similar to how Mary Brown's is popular in Newfoundland. We are during covid-19 restrictions so couldn't eat inside, but they happen to have a covered patio area overlooking the bay. Was a perfect summer day and the meal was good: fried chicken, and fried fish. About 15 bucks for both, but we were full. Menu is all in French, so I just ordered without reading it. Employee knew broken English and figured out what we wanted without issue. The chicken isn't spicey, unlike KFC or Mary Brown's, but was good.

THE worst Dixie Lee I've ever tasted. Absolutely disgusting!! Greasy, with a taste of dirty frying oil, the batter is horrible and the chicken tasted like it was rotten. If a health inspector set foot in this festering slime hole of a restaurant, it would probably be closed down. Let's hope that happens soon.
