First time at this cafe and ordered the Western sandwich. It was brought out to us on the outside patio. It was hot and delicious. To my surprise the coffee was just as good as Tim Hortons. Definitely go again.

I have the same issues as others it seems. I've been coming here for years and the last few pre covid even the service is steadily going down hill. I have tried a few times to give them a chance by ordering the same meal each time. However each order was either the wrong item all together , or the staff would argue it's correct when the receipt says otherwise. An example being. My last three visits I've ordered a Reuben. Simple Grilled sandwich , Sauerkraut , russian dressing , swiss cheese , corn beef. Like a meaty tangy Grilled cheese. Not pressed or just simply toasted bread with meat and cheese put on it. My First two attempts yielded a Corn beef on Rye with Mustard , and a Corn beef on untoasted rye no cheese. When I asked if this was a Reuben they said yes each time. The Third time and the reason for the review , is the same I got a cold Corn beef sandwich , no kraut , no dressing with mustard , and toasted before hand then put in the oven. I do not blame the cook , I blame the training. To the cooks who keep making this mistake. My apologies for your poor training, and if you've received any trouble for another mistake. I'd like to note that though the lady helping me was cold and short with me , she still processed my refund. However no one in the restaurant seemed to care what was actually wrong. I was immediately approached with high high levels of hostility. I get most people likely come up and yell , however that wasn't the case. I just wanted a Reuben. I hope they improve , or bring in someone who knows how to correct any training mishaps with their menu. Coffee is still good though :)

Simply a great place to do business in Barrie. Look around, everybody's got a laptop or partner discussing business. Food is good. Great sandwiches, bakery and coffee. Friendly staff. Clean rest rooms. So I meet clients there all the time and everyone else in small business around here does too. How they stay solvent when most sip the same coffee for hours is a mystery to me! Separate room in the front, all glass, specifically for meetings.

Had my first experience at Williams this past weekend and I must say I’m not all that impressed. I ordered the gourmet Mac and cheese and so did my partner. For $8.00 worth of Mac and cheese I felt the portion size could have been a bit more. Also, mine came quite burnt to the point I couldn’t stand the taste. My partners was alright. We also ordered a hazelnut iced coffee and a peppermint tea. We were beyond satisfied with our drinks. The staff were very friendly and patient with us reviewing the menu for the first time. Though at the time we arrived it wasn’t all that busy so I was a bit at a loss as to why a lot of the tables were filled with crumbs. Needless to say we had to clean off our own table. Might return for drinks if we’re ever nearby again but I doubt the Mac and cheese will be revisited.

My Mom and I had a very tasty lunch at Williams. I had the Daily Quiche, which. was a lovely combination of eggs, cheese and ham in a light flaky pastry. To drink, I ordered a Vanilla Latte and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. My Mom ordered the Daily Soup which was Roasted Red Peppers and Tomato Bisque with a skinny Latte. Unfortunately, the soup needed to be reheated, but was very enjoyable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The washrooms were clean and well attended. I found the restaurant to be relaxed and casual. I would definitely recommend this cafe to family and friends.

I have been going to Williams for years now, to study or to get a drink with friends, but I think their quality and service is going a bit downhill. It always seems to be such a long wait to get what you ordered if you dine in (a few times now our order has actually been forgotten, and we have had to go up and remind the staff after waiting 10+ minutes), and today I quickly picked up a drink and a baked good and the baked good was hard as a rock and the drink smelled mouldy which was super weird.

Had the berry and banana waffles, very warm and fluffy, not crunchy like I was expecting but pretty nice. The maple syrup was tasty though cold. What took me by surprise was the plump freshness of the fruit that came with the waffle. The Caramel Frappuccino was delicious but very sweet. The waitress was lovely and I felt very welcomed. Overall I had a very good expereince.

I ordered a veggie wrap, got fries with them. Fries where cold. I asked to have them heated. I got my food back. The wrap was so hot i could not eat it. They put both back into the Microwave. It made the veggies soggy. I told them i could not eat it. They let me sit there and they did not return with a fresh plate of food. So i decided to leave. I will never go back there.

at 10:30am on a Saturday morning they were some how “out” of scrambled eggs. We asked to replaced them with an different egg style and they said they only have scrambled eggs. At the same time, the woman on cash did not know the specials of the day, keep in mind they open at 8am which should be ample time (2.5 hours) to know the daily specials. Provided you don't require wheelchair accessibility, Williams is a fantastic place to visit. Unfortunately they have very limited accessible access to their "accessible" washroom as there is no power button on the door, no handle on the inside of the stall, the grab rail is off set, and the soap is well above head height from a wheelchair. Other than that, the food is great and healthy and the ambiance is delightful. It would just be nice to be able to independently use the washroom!

The best sandwich was the grilled turkey sandwich with cranberry salsa also from Williams a couple of years ago as a Christmas special. They have adapted the restaurant pretty well and talking about their food is also a great choice and there are a lot organic options in the menu. The food is really good, and even when theres a rush it seems like your food gets to you pretty fast. Last time I came here I had an issue with some of the staff, a shorter girl with a speech impediment who didn't really seem to know what she was doing or what was going on. But today, another employee was at cash today (dirty blonde hair, glasses, braces). She was so nice and great with customer service. She suggested I tried a new drink and I totally loved it! She knew how to sell and she is great with people. I'll definitely be back again!

Terrible experience. Never coming out and will be telling everyone my experience. I literally feel Robbed. I ate a Chicken Ceasar Wrap with potatoe wedges which I will mention was not well cooked at all , literally raw. McDonalds have better wraps , I was not satisfied at all! The wrap was extremely small , barely any chicken at all and so expensive for the quantity of food. I paid $15.00 for such a small wrap like I literally left still starving.. Way better off going to Coras. I don’t see how this place is still running. Extremely disappointed. Be prepared to spend $30-$40 to eat a PROPER PORTION of food. If I could give 0 stars I seriously would.

I went here today for my coffee. I ordered a cappuccino. I was waiting for my order No one came. Suddenly, An associate asked me if I am doing skip. I was like, "Do you see any skip bag in my hands", I said no. Then She asked me did I order something. I have already given my order and waiting for it. They didn't have any idea about my order. I told them again about my order and I already paid for it. And still, they forgot to add sugar. Two stars for coffee not for service! I felt it bit racist when she asked me about skip. Worst. Service. Ever. If I didn't love the food so much I would never go back. Everytime I use the drive thru I wait 15-30 mins. I can see the screens inside flashing red so they know how long it is taking. The staff all seem like they are in a terrible mood and don't want to be there. The tables are never clean and the floor is never swept.

Just got take out from Williams cafe in Barrie and although in the past I have enjoyed the food from there not this time. My husband and I both got the Caesar wraps and they were made so small that I thought I was eating a snack wrap from a fast food burger place. They were definitely not worth the price. I come in here often as I work in the plaza, many of the workers are very personable and nice. You have to be patient with the employees as they also have to be waiters/waitresses, so drinks and food may take a little longer than a fast food restaurant. Overall it's very pleasant and if you come here seek out Brittney or Evan as they are both genuine kind workers who care for the customers who come in!

It's kind of in the middle of nowhere but that's what makes it a nice spot because there's not many other things to find. It is clean and it has ample room, it even has a party room or meeting room that you can rent out. There's a patio as well what you can use on nice days although you have a view of a busy street and a street light.

I just came back from Williams and well..first its very expensive for cold drinks.. for 4 drinks was $26. Second we didn't know who's was which drink which is very scary knowing I am extremely lactose intolerant I ask the girl who was serving me and she "assumed" which one was lactose free... After about 10 minutes I had a stomach attack BECAUSE I DRANK THE WRONG ONE. Third they do not listen very well when ordering. I'm extremely disappointed. Never going back.

I had an extremely good red pepper, tomato and Gouda soup (which was the featured soup) and my brother really enjoyed his smoked meat on rye. We both had excellent strawberry smoothies - tasting of fresh strawberries. We will definitely go again next time we're in Barrie. Highly recommended.

I love coffee and am exploring Barrie to find the best coffee in Barrie. Their coffee was OK, I guess. I ordered dark roast but a staff told me "run out". She didn't offer me to make some or didn't say she is going to make some or not. Went there around 3 o'clock and don't have any dark roast? I just did not like the way she serviced to me because I love dark roast. Nothing to do with Williams. Anyways, I don't think I wanna go back there.

It’s ok. Food was fine. We liked the vegan options. But after tipping at the cash you still have to wipe crumbs off the table from previous visitors, no paper towels in the washroom, and staff was cleaning the floor around tables with people eating. Overall cozy, but these little things kind of ruin the experience.

Came in on 10/20/2018 around 9 PM to order a hot chocolate and hazelnut latte - we were disappointed after they told us that they only served drinks in takeout cups at this time and were out of hot chocolate. We proceeded with our order despite the cashier being more interested in cleaning up behind the counter then serving us. We had to clean off our own table as every table was dirty with the floor not much better. Instead of the hazelnut latte I ordered I got one with vanilla but could not get the staffs attention long enough to get it changed. Don’t know if it was the timing or location but this experience definitely isn’t what I’ve come to expect from Williams and would recommend anyone looking for a drink this time of night go to the Starbucks around the corner.

Honestly the worst 70 dollars I've ever spent. I don't know if it's new staff or the ones they have just dont care because I used to love going to William's. Walked up to the counter, wasnt greeted at all, just stared at. Ordered the turkey club, blt and chicken Cesar wrap. A couple cold drinks as well. 70 dollars, I sat at a table, server tried twice to bring me someone else's food. 30 minutes later, no food, no drinks. The staff was to busy eating behind the counter and laughing hysterically about who will clean what. Finally got the food, still no drinks. "Are the drinks in the bag too?" She scurried back and drinks were made in literally a minute, so I dont know why I sat for half an hour without them. Fries were good. Wrap was garbage, and couldn't tell you about the club since I never got it. BLT was fine if you were okay with eating it whole, as the sorry attempt of cutting it in half only went through ome piece of bread and the avocado. Used to do all my work meetings here. Will not be returning. Seems they lost their mature staff and hired children more suited for fast food.

I was so surprised at how amazing this place was. Coffee and latte was on point and the food options were fantastic. Got a butter chicken and a salad which were great. Only downside was trying to get onto the internet. I was able to do it, but for some reason I had trouble.

The BEST coffee in Barrie! Their food is also good but wait times can be very long so I usually stick to coffee and breakfast sandwiches. My mom is very picky about her coffee and absolutely loves it as well. Staff have always been friendly. No issues in all the years Ive been going. Food has never disappointed as long as I eat in.
