I've been coming to this restaurant for almost two weeks now and I like it. They serve breakfast which I eat. I never feel like I get any fruit. I thought we were supposed to eat fruit and vegetables at every meal. If breakfast is the most important meal of the day why does a traditional Canadian breakfast not include fruit or vegetables? All I ever eat are eggs, hash browns, sausage and toast. I'd like some orange with my meal, I think that would balance it out a bit. I've noticed how there has been changes with restaurants and they report the number of calories in food on the menus now, but I think it would be good if restaurants were obligated to serve food that provides a healthful balance of food groups on every plate. I would eat fruit if it were served to me. I cannot eat it if it isn't served.

The breakfast ???? was great and the service was fast. The dining room is large and can hold a lot of people. The menu has plenty of choices and the large breakfast was huge and more then you would need. My coffee was great and always topped up. We will definitely be back many times.

This is by far my favorite breakfast place in Barrie. I've eaten here so many times and never been disappointed with the food or the service. They have the best cinnamon rolls and waffles, amazing omelettes, and even a fantastic poutine and soups. I always want to try more of their lunch menu items, but the breakfast menu is too good to pass by.

If your hungry order the hot turkey sandwich, it's huge. Couldn't finish it when large meals are easy to eat. Bacon, eggs and home fries breakfast was delicious.

Very nice breakfast place, tables and chairs are nice and comfortable. The cinnamon bun was too soggy since they microwaved it. Lost the baked texture so I was disappointed. Coffee was so so. I'll have to try it again

Great food & service... they recently stopped adding home fries to the 2x2x2 (pancakes, sausages & eggs) meal, which is my go to... however the portions are still really good and are reasonably priced. I'll definitely be going back soon.

Perfect place to eat with your friends, family, and loved ones! I usually come here on weekend mornings for breakfast and they do get busy! There were times that we had to wait for a table. I high suggest to come earlier to avoid waiting times. Their pancakes are so fluffy and tasty! It is my go to food here. Eggs Benedict is delicious! I tried the steak one timis and it was okay. It was cooked perfectly based on my expectations but the taste/texture was just not there. If you’re thinking of eating a steak for your meal, I would suggest to go somewhere. Overall I enjoy the service and food here at Gibby G’s. I will always come back for more.

I was very grateful for the excellent service we received this morning. Called yesterday to reserve for my construction crew and the person on the phone was super friendly. We walked in at 7:30 this morning and there was an area set up for us including water and coffee and menu's for 18 people. Food was great. Fast and friendly service from our waiter - Erin. We will be back for sure.

Western omelette was fluffy and hot. Real potatoes perfectly lightly fried. Waitress was cheerful and attentive. My first visit and i will recommend it to all my friends. Wish they did supper too but a wonderful breakfast and lunch place.

Great breakfast place and even in the busiest times the longest i have waited to be seated was 15 min. The staff have always been friendly and if you like a big breakfast you must try the "pork belly" very satisfying.

I was first a bit skeptical of this place based on other reviews I read out there. However, based on my experience today, this place was perfect. Food was very tasty, service was excellent and atmosphere was trendy/unique. We had French toast, eggs, home fries, and rye bread.

Very good place for breakfast, The atmosphere was welcoming and the food and service were great. Food was cooked perfectly. The pancakes were light and fluffy ( not heavy like some places) sausages were good. Most places they are either too salty,or have an undercooked texture. Egg whites were mentioned on the menu which saves one from asking. The staff was great and treated us very well. I will be frequenting this establishment for breakfast on the weekend. I highly recommend it. Ample parking however once things ramp up again be early as they WILL be busy.

If you're to specialize as an all day breakfast restaurant you better do it right. This place does it right. The omelettes are large the home fries are fresh not frozen the service is fast and the prices are right.

Waitstaff is friendly but the food is just so so. It's my fault to assume the additional "strawberry" for pancake is the fruit. So when they served me jam I was very disappointed. And that untouched jam cost me more than $2.

I prefer lighter options as I'm not always very hungry in the mornings, so a fruit bowl or parfait or something and coffee what what I was after. All they had was an Add-On fruit cup that was either from a can or quite old. Again, just not my style of breakfast place but otherwise good.

We had breakfast here on our way home from the Blue Mountain Village today. We arrive to find a modest looking place but inside it was buzzing, with a queue even at 12.30 p.m. The waitress service was excellent, brisk, efficient and helpful. We had two breakfasts which were HUGE, sausages, eggs, potatoes and ham/bacon and two pots of tea, out of which we got 3 cups each. All this came with lovely toast and a selection of jams and all the other condiments you could want. The food was piping hot, fresh and delicious. The place is clean, with plenty of space and, a point to mention, all the tables are easily big enough for you to eat your breakfast properly, something which is not found in many breakfast/lunch places, where they are too small in order to cram as many customers into a small area as possible. The price we paid ($36 with HST and tip) was an absolute bargain after spending a lot more than that on each meal at Blue Mountain for breakfasts of a lesser quality. We will be back and we highly recommend Gibby G's.
