went for a little treat tonight. Ordered 4 different desserts for 4 people so that we could each try a little something. Server was very pleasant and food was ready when I went to pick it up. We tried the ginger apple crisp. Very nice flavor mind you we found although the ginger was a nice touch it was a little over whelming. Cookies was very much enjoyed by my son. He didn't want to share. My main dessert was the Hazelnut Heaven. It was good but I'm not big on white chocolate. If you like white chocolate. It would be recommended, and finally Koffee Karamel Kiss. Was enjoyed by 3 out of 4 only because the fourth didn't have a chance to try it. Will certainly give it another try for take out, and will make an evening of it for my husband and I.

Overpriced, food quality was definitely not what I was expected, we had the chocolate cake (which tasted worst than what you buy at a grocery store) and the ice cream (?) that comes with it was flavorless, same for the whipped cream. and the fruitella crepe (crepe was just warm, the crepe itself didn't taste good), staff seemed untrained, music was too loud. The place seems nice, but not for a dessert joint. Really underwhelming. Will not be returning. 50 dollars for 3 desserts, really disappointed, absolutely do not recommend. They have a nice patio, though. I haven't tried their cocktails, but it seems promising. I think it's more for a younger crowd/date night type of setting, so manage your expectations. If you go for the view/vibe, it may be worth it but prices are definitely on the higher side.

Had such an awesome experience last night! Server was really friendly and attentive. The jolly rancher drinks are out of this world. Cheesecake was so tasty and fresh. Brownies and cookie dough mmm so good seriously. But those Jolly Rancher drinks oh baby yes yes yes. Can’t wait to bring my friends here next time they’re up in Barrie!

I ordered form the skip the dishes and It was terrible experience. We ordered their 7 layer dessert bar and chocolate fudge brownie and it was not sufficient for one person. This is ridiculous if you are charging 15 dollars for brownie then we can expect some quantity. Moreover, it taste like frozen dessert. Very disappointed.

Visited here tonight, and was incredibly impressed not only by their desserts, but as well as the atmosphere. All of their desserts are hand-made where you can watch them make them in the lounge itself, and are presented beautifully. If you are willing to splurge a little bit for an amazing dessert ($6-$12 average), this is definently the place! The owner came up and personally greeted us, and made us feel very welcomed. Will go back most definitely, and will recommend to everyone in search to fulfill their sweet tooth craving!

Very delicious food, great ambiance, friendly staff and so would highly recommend. A few things that could have been better though. We had asked for two plates to come together but came one after the other. It was busy and so it took a long time to get someones attention for utensils, a few refills and the check. Again, it was terribly busy and not sure if this is common on a Thursday? However, as stated before, the food was excellent and would definitely give them another try in the future.

Sooo delicious with a high end feeling. We visited with a group in the summer and sat outside on the lounge. That night was magic. I was so impressed with their unique drink menu, and the staff was so friendly with an amazing sense of humor. The drinks and food were SOO delicious. I also loved that they have vegan desserts as well. The ambiance is really nice - and I like that I can dress up a little when I go and not feel out of place. You HAVE to try Chillz!

The idea for the Place is nice! Desserts looks nice on the pictures. My dessert supposed to come with raspberry ice cream not vanilla. The cake was bake wrong. The bananas crepe was plan not much caramel and bananas was almost rotten. Disappointed. If u open a dessert business you need to be the best.

However I was very disappointed in the serving size of my order today. Usually the slice fills the takeout container. Today, not so much. I hope this was an oops. We ordered a B52, a lavender martini, the fondue, and sticky toffee pudding. The sticky toffee pudding is one of the best I've had in a long time. Fondue chocolate was had good balance in sweetness. Our waiter Antonio was great! Recommended the perfect drinks and desserts for us. My girlfriend is in love with the martini with empress gin. Can't wait to head back! The view is pretty nice too! Patio is nicely lit with cozy seating.

An excellent location for a girls night out or an after dinner date. The dessert menu is extensive with lots of choices to match anyone's tastes. The cocktail menu is also varied. Only complaint I would have is not having menus posted on the website to be looked over. I always like to have an idea of what my options are before going somewhere new.

This is the place that you can get unforgettable experience. They just opened and I am glad I discovered this gem in Barrie. I tried their amazingly fresh desserts and drinks. Just happened to stumble into this place and wanted to stop for coffee to enjoy the patio. The amazing tea selection seduced me to a tea latte and then I got sucked into ordering dessert and then try a cocktail! The cocktail list is great because it has stuff you can't get other places and wouldn't make at home. It was a nice treat.

Tried the pretzels, a few cocktails, and cheesecakes. The place has a really great idea executed well but not perfectly. The pretzels weren't as fresh as they could have been but had a nice flavour. The cocktails were amazing. The cheesecake is basically the same plain cheesecake with different toppings. Luckily it works, it was really good. Service was really good. Cost was a bit on the steep side though so not 5 stars.

Went in on a Tuesday evening with a friend. Great service from Marco (sorry if that is not the correct name, young man early 20’s) and had cocktails and dessert. The cookies and cream cheesecake was awesome. The staff were kind enough to let us in when in started a torrential downpour outside. They even offered us cloths to dry off with as we were soaked. What a great group of staff! Will be happy to share my great experience and recommend this place to everyone!

Birthday dessert evening with friends and family. What a perfect atmosphere. Beautifully appointed, relaxing, and fun. Best coffee, wonderful specialty tea and incredidible, artistic desserts that are as tasty as they are beautiful. Great service, but be willing to relax as it is always busy. Pricy for 'the usual' in Barrie, and well worth it for the experience. You cannot get this level of refined elegance anywhere close to Barrie.

I've been here many times. There are a few unusual choices for desserts here and the menu is interesting. The desserts themselves are very sweet and unusually filling. The cocktails are superb. The waiters are fantastic as well, always welcoming and ready to help.

Great relaxing atmosphere. Good food presentation and service. My husband and I shared the fondue. I enjoyed the strawberries and banana the most. I found the waffles to be too doughy, so I'm wondering if they needed to be cooked a bit longer. Chocolate was very rich. Brownies were rich, so I found they were better on their own rather than dipped in the fondue. My husband loved their cucumber melon tea, he said he'd come back just for the tea. I'd like to try the cheesecake next time! :)

I am giving two stars because the coffee is good. Last time I tried the orange cheesecake and it was amazing so I came back for this specific dessert but now they changed the menu and the cheesecake (base) is the same for everything they just change the toppings and charge different price for every topping. I felt really disappointed because they changed the quality. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Chillz Lounge, co-located with the very popular Swirleez frozen yogurt shop (the FroYo capital of Central Ontario). Owner Teresa, and staff are amazing. Interior design, down to the cutlery are exceptional. The menu is a rather large tome which may be daunting at first, but is very well organised. The offerings are many and varied and include a number of sweet desserts as well as some savory selections. Would recommend.

Couple of friends who I hadn't seen in awhile wanted to come in last night to try this dessert place. Nothing on menu really dazzled us so they had coffee, tea, and according to menu pictures I decided on the "mixed berry No-jito" drink (which was a blended minty fruit smoothie) since I wasn't having any 'desserts' this was my replacement for something sweet. We doubled checked with the waiter and even joked about it being non alcoholic because I don't enjoy how alcohol feels. The drink wasn't bad even though it didn't present itself like the menu picture. I felt a bit buzzed while walking to our car, puzzled we looked at our bill and saw that my drink was WITH alcohol. Good thing I wasn't driving! The atmosphere was ideal, music was on point, our waiter was nice I'm just disappointed in the wrong order they only had one other table and were not busy. I got so buzzed I had to go home and that ruined our night out I'd go back just to hang out for coffee or tea ????

This is possibly one of the best dessert places in town. They have an extensive menu of desserts for any pallet. For those with allergies I have found that staff are more than willing to be accommodating. There is also an extensive alcoholic menu and each desert item has a suggested drink pairing which I think is a nice touch. Cheesecakes and Sundaes have been excellent. But our go to now when we visit is there chocolate fondue. The small is more than enough for a couple. The location is small with only about 8 or 9 tables that fill up quick all night. However, people move through quick and the longest we have ever waited for a seat was 15 minutes. Very attentive and positive staff.

Evening was a great disappointment. Waiter was rude and unprofessional: receipt didn't include the right listing of ordered items, and waiter seemed annoyed while we were trying to figure out what was going on. I've been to the restaurant a few times; for late night dessert and it's always been fabulous. Yesterday was my birthday and given that we are in isolation my daughter arranged to have a piece of New York Cheese Cake and Carrot Cake delivered for me to enjoy during my "Zoom" birthday party. Both were delicious and fresh. I have always believed in supporting small business and can't say enough about the quality of the food; even during these challenging times Chillz has not compromised on the quality or flavour. I highly recommend Chillz Lounge; we need to support our neighbours and what a better way than to enjoy a tasty treat at the same time. Thank you Nancy

I can see why they get 4.8 stars. It’s hard to not rate it atleast a 4. The service is descent. The deserts are amazing, the drinks are ok. Everything is extremely pricey. Like way above average. You can tell the owner is milking the system because they have a small space and they are downtown. However they could easily charge less and you can tell the owner is out to milk everyone .

I cannot love this place more. First time that I have gone, let me just say the white chocolate gelato is to die for. Chocolate cake and carrot cake best I have had. Dont get me started on the smoked cocktails! Service was amazing and on time ( got served by the chef himself!) Everything seemed organized clean and well done.

My wife and I decided to check out the place and went in on a Sat night. Place was fairly busy, but we were disappointed to find the lack of decent customer service. We had to seat our selves, and after 15 Mins of no one approaching us for order, I decided to go to the front counter and ask for their menu. Antonio was friendly and provided the menu. However after a total of about 25 mins of again no one approaching us, we decided to leave. We noticed the staff approaching other tables including a group that came in after us, and somehow we were invisible. It's unfortunate, because we were looking forward to trying their waffles and cheesecake. Maybe they were having an off night. All the best!

My wife and I arrived around 9:30 at night and we had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated. This was only because the place was full and not because nobody came to see us. Once seated, the attendant was very friendly and full of positive personality. We ordered the cookies and cream cheese cake and dark temptation. Both dishes were excellent. Great sizes and perfect taste. Not to mention the great presentation. The complimentary water jug is a bonus and I like how they limit waste by using utensils that can be washed. I also noticed that a lot of their ingredient containers are reusable. The only thing missing is a chocolate moose. I would have preferred that over the chocolate frozen yogurt that came with the dark temptation. There should be an option for this. We enjoyed the experience and will definitely return. I hope they get a location with more seating one day.

I’m so happy Barrie finally has a cocktail bar!!!! ‘The Closer’ is fantastic Would be 5 but I need to try the food first.
