The atmosphere was nice, but I found the staff not very knowledgeable and I was very disappointed to find that my Hot Cocoa was a cheap powdered mix, and Nanimo bar was bland. My husband didn't finish his coffee and complained that it tasted like warm water.

First visit to Barrie, and this was the only cafe open at the time of day.The cappuccino I ordered tasted like steamed milk with a barely a hint of espresso flavour . A business that has cappuccino in its name should do better to produce a quality product. It doesn't appear the cafe produces anything in house as their baked goods are from Dufflet, amongst other things, Kirkland brand fruit cups were also individually sold.

Not sure what happened. This place used to be very nice. Was quite disappointed to see the Costco pastries in counter, the espresso maker heavily neglected and the terrible attitude of the kid working. He all but through coffees at people. The last 2 or 3 times have been progressively worse. Been here many times, not sure I'll return.

Terrible experience. Staff are sexist. I went to this coffee shop with my wife and new born baby. My wife just ordered her coffee and my baby needed a change. My wife wanted her coffee hot and I was going to change him. But there wasn't a change table in the men's room. So I went to go into the women's room. Staff said I wasn't allowed in there. My wife changed our baby, while her coffee got cold. Then a female customer wanted to use the women's room, but it was taken with my wife and son. Staff had no problem directing the female patron into using the men's room. I will never go back to this place - disgusting behavior in this day and age.

Coming to this Cafe is a fantastic coffee experience! However today, we had ordered a caramel macchiatto and dirty chai latte (which we often get from the Cafe) but upon first taste notice that there are some ingredients missing and it was apparent that there was a bit too much foam for a latte style drink. Just wanted to share this in case you're currently in the process of training anyone. Thank you so much for having such a friendly Cafe!

Coffee was okay. Bathrooms were not terrible, but not great either. The decor has seen better days. The staff were friendly and acknowledged us as we entered and left. It was not too busy or loud when we were there, which was nice. There are paintings on the wall by local artists (I'm assuming), which was neat and made the place feel a bit unique for a coffee shop.

I love Nutella. I eat it as a snack all of the time so coming here was very exciting for me. They have many options of sweets and treats that include Nutella. I ordered the crepe. You can add fruit and whipped cream to it as well. I thought it was delicious! Next time I go I would try the baguette with Nutella, that looked yummy.

Large windows overlook Dunlop St. and Memorial Square providing welcome natural light into the space. Free Wi-Fi and papers provided. Exceptionally attentive and friendly service. This is a favourite stop for many locals and visitors.

Nice place overall, coffee is ok, but cleanliness needs to be worked on. The other day went in to get a coffee and the man in front of me (that appeared homeless) returned a cup and the girl at counter just gave it a 2 second rinse and placed it back on the rack. That made me cringe HARD, which I brough up to her!! Wanted to go in today, remembered that incident and kept walking. I get it that she just works there and doesn't care but come on!!

Really enjoy stopping into this coffee shop! Seems friendly, staff is nice and I really enjoy the option of a view of our beautiful Lake indoors & outdoors at this cafe or can choose a front row seat to a busy street but also can opt for a couch in the corner. Thumbs up to anyone looking for a good cup of coffee and light food menu in a chill space.
