Freshest, most flavourful coffee beans you can find locally. Especially love the espresso roast for pulling shots, and the dark roast for pour over or french press. Great company all around.

Best Beans Around! I am a person who enjoys to grind my own beans to get the most flavour in every cup. Beaver Rock is quickly becoming my new favourite coffee. So far I have only tried the dark roast but I'm very impressed with it, I would say it surpasses other local roasters in strength of flavour (planet bean, 23 degrees). I find the dark roast has interesting vanilla/floral notes, which I liked a lot. What I would like to see is more info on the beans on the packaging, like origin and brief flavour profile. Also more dark roasts/blends ;) All in all, amazing local roaster, so glad we have this in Barrie! Photo is a comparison of Beaver Rock (right) to Organica (right).

Coffee is a 5 star. Buy it, if you can. Finding it and buying was a huge problem, but they have started to make it easier, now that they offer direct web order. But you still have to pay for shipping. Not the best these days with a good majority of web sites offering free shipping (or free on a minimum order amount, which still isn't offered by Beaver Rock). Sure you can pick it up locally at their location, but the hours are horrendous (til 5pm and not open on weekends).
