The best Thrift Store in Bancroft and surrounding area!

I've always found the store quaint and well stocked. To anyone commenting on prices, please know they're very reasonable. This is a not-for-profit *charity* operation, providing financial assistance to a hospice, giving loving end-of-life care. Let's not expect our local charity to compete with a dollar store selling cheap foreign products - they have truly unique antique items of quality .... I've never regretted a penny I've spent there.

Organized and service is friendly, but vintage items are way overpriced. Even a Toronto dealer couldn't get those prices. There's a reason much of it has been sitting on a shelf for a year.

This shop is certainly not over priced. The vintage pieces are very under priced. I will be stopping there every time I drive through Bancroft to collect more. Very charming and dedicated people as well.

I absolutely love this place, it is Thrifting at its finest. The store is very clean and organized. They have lots of different areas within the store and the prices are incredibly reasonable. I took my daughter there for the first time and she was floored at the prices and quality of items. Love the Christmas room all year round! Great job, don't miss out!

Used to shop here regularly until new management. Now the prices are way too high. Anything you might think is a great find comes with a big price tag. I found a camp stove priced at $75 that had the original price on the box for $49.99 from store. Art books priced more then they were from the bookstore. It's become a second hand store that caters more to the tourists then the locals.

Some items are WAY overpriced!! Today I saw a very small Trisha Romance that they are asking $100 for and they think it sells for $450 on Ebay. It is just a small framed print that isn't numbered so it is only worth $20 or less. The market is flooded with these small prints and you can find them for $5 in many places. There is also a Walter Campbell print that has been there for months. They were originally asking $95 for it and have since reduced it. Again it isn't a numbered print. I have owned both Walter Campbell's and Trisha Romance's art and I know a little about what is worth something and what is not. Too bad whoever is pricing things didn't know this also. No number, no value. It isn't just art that is overpriced in this store. I believe they would sell more inventory if their prices were more reasonable.
