Nice to have a coffee.

Firstly the guy at the bar gave this entitled attitude like he was better then everyone else. He was not friendly and Extremely rude. He clearly had no idea what he was doing either. I am sorry but there is absolutely no reason to charge $0.50 for 2 ice cubes. I will never be back. He was argumentative and not at all accomodating. I wanted more milk in my machiatto, he said that's now how we make it here. Even if that's not how you usually make it, there's absolutely no reason he couldn't add an extra tablespoon or 2 of milk for me. Instead he refused and we left unhappy.

A peaceful place to stop in for a coffee and snack when travelling through Bancroft. I recommend their Maple brewed coffee! They have gluten free options available for quiche and muffins. Regular items are delicious too. They will warm up the snack for you. The art is lovely to look at and on weekend evenings in the summer, there is live music.

Was passing through town, and wanted a break from driving. Instead of the usual truck stop/ mcdonalds swill, we found a delicious oasis of calm with stunning original artwork on display from local artists, and wonderful hot drinks served in European sized servings. Definitely would come again!

My partner and I stayed near Bancroft for a week and we visited this lovely cafe 4 times. We really enjoy cappuccinos and were grateful to find The Muse. I think they’re the only place in town that can make a decent one! The decor is full of original art and comfortable seating. The staff are very friendly too. We loved supporting this local business, especially during these pandemic times when so many are struggling.

Love this place, has amazing coffee and coffee drinks, and the treats are to die for. The space is beautiful and filled with art to view and to buy, and it's quiet enough to relax and work. Also the barista is fantastic! Cash only, just fyi.

What a lovely little spot. Stopped in for a quick drink (ordered the dirty chai with cashew milk; very tasty) and was greeted with piano music and art. Can't wait to go back and check out the gallery!

Mediocre coffee, a lot of mosquitos in the coffee shop and slow service! We asked for bagels with cream cheese but they gave us plain bagels with a veggie cream cheese in a separate container which was disappointing!

"Fresh" is definitely the word I'd use to describe Muse Gallery & Cafe in Bancroft, ON - fresh coffee, fresh yummy baked goods and fresh art from local artists! The cafe is located in a bright, airy storefront hidden away from the busy downtown strip and steps away from York River. The staff are welcoming and helpful and everywhere you look is some enticing piece of artwork that engages and delights.. Muse is a refreshing oasis in the heart of downtown Bancroft!
