However, they could probably put an open sign that shows that their open, I understand not having people come inside due to COVID but at least it would be nice to have a better visual cue that their open. This is a nice little coffee shop right in the Crescent Heights community. We had their drip coffee which is an Ethiopian style coffee; and the taste was awesome. Not to mention that although it’s an independent small cafe, but the price is reasonable. This is an ideal place for chat and meetups. This could be your dating place too ????. We loved the place and we will come here regularly. The staffs are very friendly and courteous. We also liked that they display photography/artwork of the local artists in this shop. I would definitely recommend this place.

Went to their grand opening today during their coffee tasting event. The owners put a lot of passion in this shop, you could feel it from their beans (roasted in house), milk, food and even to their stir sticks. Lots to learn and enjoy a good cup of coffee or tea. Just revising my review since I've gotten to know the Owner more and that this specialist café is one of the few instances where great coffee and great tea comes together. The owner even introduced to me specialty tea which I didn't know was possible nor taste (I had some fresh green tea that was 'juicy' to say the least) Coffee is always prepared with meticulous care and attention. He's even well known the regulars, which comes back to a very inviting atmosphere. Both professional and informative, I always go back with a curious mind to see what else he has in store.

The setting, the plants and the service (everyone in S/F was fabulously polite and helpful)! But OMG the coffee was a REVELATION. (so were the Mayan cookies, but that's not why i'm here writing.) Could be my new favorite coffee shop in Calgary! Excellent espresso - Ethiopian medium roast, perfectly prepared. Mazzer grinders and La Marzocco Linea machine. The roasted green tea with milk was also very tasty. Snacks were great (matcha croissant!). The space is quaint and comfortable, free WiFi, solid tunes. The toaster is visible in the back. I’ll be buying a bag of beans here to try from home too. Anyone who is into the coffee scene in Calgary needs to check this place out!

Coffee can be artisanal and this would be one of those places. Haven't had the opportunity to go in and embrace in its atmosphere as per covid times but the ordering process is overall efficient. The coffee is a little bit more pricier than most (for a wide variety of small to large sizes in oz) but you get good quality flavour beans/coffee which is worth the price. They have a carrier of coffee beans/brews and also a small selection of milk+tea and teas (not your generic variety).

I visited Sought x Found this afternoon and had a wonderful experience. I've been exploring espresso at a number of local roasters/coffee shops, and the shot I had this afternoon was the best so far. I wanted to ask a few questions afterward. Sometimes when I ask for details, I feel like I'm asking for a closely guarded secret. Not so here. I spoke with one of the owners, who was very passionate about coffee, and very generous with pointers for someone who's just getting started with espresso at home. I will definitely be back!

Great place! Family owned and run. The couple is passionate about coffee and can be seen smelling and tasting beans all day. Its not fast coffee, the hand made pour over took a few minutes, but it's well worth the wait! It resulted in one of the best coffees I've had! I personally love the Sunday flights as a sample for pour over selection not to mention the breathtaking plants babies growing in the ‘wait room’. Decent small artisan made coffee. Nice little bakery items. We swung by for the hot chocolate fest. Small batch coffee is on par with all the other small batch roasters in Calgary. I don’t think I’ll be back. Asked if I could buy an extra marshmallow for my 3yr and the barista said- no only have enough for drinks. I would have paid for one as the same price as the hot chocolate, but still no. So I won’t be back. Neat place otherwise. Free parking in back, watch out for ice between buildings. Don’t know if there is bathrooms here or not.

Super nice staff, with a cool setup cafe with Brewing equipment and all kinds of nice touches like a compost bin. I had a cappuccino with their standard beans as I had asked for a shot of vanilla-didn't realize they mached the beans used to the flavour I was looking for and they used fresh vanilla extract! Delicious. Chill and not loud background music. Outside seating was well. Will definitely come back.

Probably one of my favorite cafés on the same level caliber like Monogram or Phil & Sebastien. Friendly, family service run with attention to detail in coffee. Don't forget to drink to try to drink it black. You can start to taste the notes way better in comparison to the other shops. This is a shop that's nice and relaxing to come into. If the owner is taking the time to custom brew the coffee, take some time to also savour the drink. It's really darn good.

This is by FAR my fav spot in Calgary for coffee, matcha & artisan drinks + treats! They have an amazing homemade almond milk as a vegan option for their drinks which is a huge plus! You can taste the quality. Also, the owners are the sweetest and pour so much love + passion into every cup and pour over that they do. Amazing all around, go check them out! You will not regret it. This is my favorite coffee shop in Calgary! The coffee is such amazing quality, the owners are kind, personable and put a lot of effort into everything they do. I can't recommend this place enough! Make sure to also try their grilled cheese with apples - delightful!

Sxf Coffee Roasters is a great new, warm and cozy, micro roster and café located on centre street just north of China Town. I had two drinks, an espresso and their roasted matcha latte. The roasted matcha was warm and comforting with a subtle sweetness from the milk. It makes a perfect drink for a cold day. The espresso was nothing short of pow! Probably the creamiest espresso I've had with a bright citrus finish they lingers pleasantly. Though I didn't have a pastry, they are serving Butter Block who's pastries never really disappoint.

Check this place out, well worth the visit and friendly. they are a micro roaster and they care about their caffeine fix also the bakery items are from butter block which are delicious. The seating is limited however we have not had any issues yet and parking in the area is not necessary the best.

Went here for the first time and was SUPER impressed so much that I had to come back ASAP to try more. Both the guy and girl working were extremely knowledgable in their beans + roasting, the hand brew is amazing (and four options to choose from), and I was able to buy beans for home. Basically I can't stop talking about this place now and I am way too excited to try all of their hand brew options. Glad to find a great option in Calgary aside from the more well known shops!

Honestly some of the best espresso I've had in the city. Very smooth and well balanced. My cappuccino was made with a Washed Ethiopian and it was neither bitter or sour. Perfectly dialed. The owners obviously care about the quality of their product. 10/10 will recommend to any friend or colleague.

Excellent quality coffee, comparable to a few small batch roasters here in town. Quality baked goods. You can tell they are passionate about what they do as well... That said there prices are too high I can get comparable beans elsewhere for a far, far more reasonable price. If you're looking to treat yourself and love quality coffee you can't go wrong.

Shout out to two of the nicest people that run this coffee shop! It's such a quaint little place in the up and coming neighbourhood Bridgeland. I love this place because it reminds me of something out of Stars Hollow (Gilmore Girls reference). From the decor, to the atmosphere and outlets for your laptops, you can really tell that the owners went above and beyond to ensure their customers feel comfortable and at home. I'm personally not a coffee drinker, but the selection of teas they have are awesome. The barista really takes the time to explain to the customers about the range of nodes in each drink. Great place to study, have a coffee date, catch up with a friend or grab a coffee and pastry on the go!

This local coffee shop is the gem of Calgary in my opinion. Been here a few times and it never disappoints. The last time I went, I met the owner and had a delightful conversation. You can tell they really take pride in their coffee because every handcrafted cup feels like they poured their efforts into it. Props to the server for the most steady hands I’ve seen. The atmosphere is cozy and it can be quite busy on Saturdays. They have various selection of sizes of their expresso x milk, matcha lattes, houjicha lattes and other drink options available. My personal favorite is the 7oz espresso x milk. The difference is found in the milk they use and this makes a very good cup of coffee. I highly recommend this shop and would give 6 stars if it was possible!

The owners are passionate about their craft - and they are phenomenal coffee artisans. This is one of the best coffee shops in Calgary. After finishing their espresso and milk (which is superb!), I had to have a hand-crafted coffee - all in one visit! There's ample parking on the weekends, and Sought & found is a great place for coffee any time of day. Stop in on the drive home after work! Highly recommended!

I have been going to this shop regularly for the last eight months. The love they put in their roasts and their brews also reflects the care they put into their guests. They are always willing to explain different roasts and help you find something suitable for your tastes, whether you are an avid coffee drinker or not. If not, you might just turn into one. Not only do they offer coffee but offer some of the highest grade matcha I've had the pleasure of tasting! If you have never come into an artisanal & sustainable coffee shop, go with an open mind and don't expect to see a cup drenched with sugar and caramel; they have many beautiful offerings that will curb that high sugar kick. I always enjoy coming to this wonderful cafe environment they have built! You can often find them calling their customers by name - even if you've only introduced yourself once. How do I give more than 5 stars? I'm so happy I stumbled upon this coffee joint. They do small batch roasting of coffees from around the world and they put lots of love into preparing every cup and it shows. I was told they mix up the types of coffee lineup so there will always be something new to try. I got the coffee from Ethiopia, it has floral notes and leaves an amazing after taste. Can't wait to come back!

Expectations-redefining coffee experience. As an Italian I am proud of my coffee heritage, yet here I was taught just how much better coffee can be. Roasted-on site, ground the instant before being hand-brewed, I had an Ethiopian coffee with tasting notes that included "tomato, orange and honey". The taste and smell of fresh ripe tomato was incredible, undeniable and fantastic overlay to the coffee. See / smell / taste for yourself, it really is that good.

The simplicity in their approach to coffee is what makes Sought x Found a place worth coming back to again and again. The latte here is as raw is it gets, milk, espresso...voila! If this is your thing then you owe it to yourself to try them out. The space is cozy with a very humble vibe about it. The service is always genuine and knowledgeable. Oh and the pastries are to die for!

I've been to Sought x Found a few time since opening. The atmosphere is really exceptional: comfortable, cute, and modern. The drinks and pastries all taste amazing (I've had mint tea, houjicha x milk, finca nueva linda coffee, black sesame croissant and pain au chocolat). Everything is crafted with superb care and attention. It's clear everyone cares a lot about the cafe and want to make the experience perfect.

Came across this coffee shop whilst Visiting Calgary and was very impressed. Cosy, chic kind of atmosphere will nice music and very gentle, friendly staff. I tried a matcha and in addition to regular matcha they also have a special roasted type which was very flavorful and made perfectly. Baked items also really tasty. I would be happy to see more places like this in Edmonton!

These folks really truly know their coffee! I couldn't decide what I wanted, so gave them tasting notes I enjoy and they chose a coffee for me - it was fantastic and exactly to my taste.
