This is one of my absolutely favourite Second Cups. It was reno'd not so long ago, and it was done well -- more than I can say for the new Second Cup in Oakville, unfortunately. Staff are friendly. Very interesting selection of baked goods. Love their lattes!

Customer service here was poor, especially compared to other options in town. Quite an unpleasant way to start the day with attitude from the cashier. Also food was not warmed up… cold inside and out. Perhaps the on button on the oven wasn’t selected or they were looking to rush us out? No one was behind us. Overall wouldn’t return

The condition of the men's washroom leaves a bit to be desired, but is forgivable. Highly recommended, and I much prefer Second Cup over that "other" West-coast coffee chain!

We went to this Second Cup location on Sunday March 29th 2020 at around 1:00 pm. Ordered a medium coffee and an iced coffee. First off the coffee was horrendous. It tasted so watered down that it felt like I was almost tasting an Iced Coffee of my own. Secondly, the Iced coffee we received was a small (ordered a medium), and the Iced coffee tasted like the same pot of watered down coffee was used to make it. Had to throw both of them out as it was inedible. Not worth it for $7.00.

Usually this is my favourite coffee brand and I waited till we find one on the road to get my coffee. Alth the shop was empty the staff member was unwelcoming at all. More welcoming attitude always nice. I will stay loyal to the brand for its quality and the good service I always get.

I love second cup and choose their coffee over anywhere else. I rate this location low because they are insanely slow. Whether drive thru or walk in. They need more staff. Expect to wait about 5-10 minutes just to get one coffee. Doesn't matter time of day or day of the week. I frequent here often because there are only 2 locations in all of Burlington so I don't have a choice but often will attempt to go in but decide to go elsewhere because the line is too long.

Visited today early in the morning. Staff lady was helpful and fast worker. Store has its few parking space right outside so does drive through. Men washroom wasn’t working at the visit time.e Everything was up to expectations considering service and food/beverages. P.S: staff lady ask me like when I was taking pictures. I told her about google map review but she wasn’t convinced with me regarding taking stores photos. (she wasn’t rude)I always try to take store photos so visitor can see how clean store is and what kind of facilities store has. I hope management of the store can guide their employees regarding review procedures. Overall good visit.

The staff is wonderful and food/drink great and of course CANADIAN Company. I was a loyal customer for a couple of years but the facility is falling apart. Leaky ceiling, men's urinal didn't work for months. One side of the room is too cold another side too hot. Just about every table wobbles. I'm now a Starbucks customer. Sorry but need a nice comfortable environment to write. UPDATE: The bathroom is fixed. The staff is friendly, still. The temperature is more even. Change to 3 stars.

I always enjoy sitting down in Second Cup with a cup of coffee and my school work. It has a relaxing atmosphere, a variety of comfortable seats, good Wi-Fi, and lots of outlets for plugging in laptops. The drinks and goodies are very tasty as well. Only complaint: would be nice if they had more parking, since the parking lot is often completely full around peak times.

Great product, great company but very slow service at this location. If your 3 or 4 cars deep in drive thru prepare to wait 15-20 minutes. Can't go in morning before work or else you'll be late. Went there 3 times the first I got a pumpkin Mocha with oat milk service was on point love the drink so much came back again and it was downhill from there. Ordered the same drink service was terrible the drink didn't taste the same but decided to give it another chance..nope was even worse I didn't even get the drink I ask for and they took forever. So am done with this place.

Treated really terribly by staff at the drive-thru. The person who served me was rude and dismissive and slammed the window shut before I finished speaking. If you are going to treat customers that way, at least be informed in the policies you are enforcing. I was a daily customer through the lock-downs, being an essential worker. Although not impressed with the actual owner of this establishment, he is redeemed by his wonderful staff, who know how to deliver quality customer service, unlike the owner. The owner should sit down with his staff and ask them to train him on perfecting customer service. (I had purchased a gift card for my Daughter of $20 but when she went to use it, it had not been activated - he would not honour it although I had the debit receipt to prove I had just purchased it prior to xmas - in the end Head Office redeemed it). The only reason I frequent this coffee shop is because #1 it is Canadian and #2 the staff are very friendly. I order a lot of home delivery and love the personal notes thanking me for my support of their shop! I phoned to ask for extra whip today on my delivery order and they fulfilled that with no problem.

Use to have really good service but lately its gone downhill. Just tuesday evening we went and the sign said open till 7:30 and available for takeout however the door was locked. They were takong orders through the drive through however there was no signage saying Drive-through only we almost didnt bother thinking it was closed early for some reason. When we dod gst to the drive through they sounded like they wanted to rush us to say the order then they took forever making it. Friendly staff just needs to work on time management and better signage.

I enjoy 2nd cups coffee over larger franchises. The service has been good, don't expect Tim's drive through speeds. Staff I think are told not to brew coffee at later times due to traffic vs sales vs waste. My times of 2nd cup visits are usually between 7 - 8pm and most coffee's have run out by this time so I have to settle for something I wouldn't normally order. If this was to change I'd probably rate higher.

Wonderful menu and the location is convenient. It's spacious with tables for two, or four, or lounge chairs if you prefer. The parking lot, especially near the drive-thru, needs a lot of work done. The pavement is cracked badly enough to damage a car that doesn't notice how deep the potholes are. The staff is friendly, but I've had one strange thing happen about 3 times this month. Barista A will take my order and then go make it. Then Barista B takes my money. Many times, Barista A only charges me for part of the order, not knowing everything that I had ordered. Each time, I said the amount was wrong, but it'd be really easy for a nefarious customer to either get half their order for free, or in one case that happened 3 weeks ago when Barista B got distracted by something else, completely free without paying at all. The downtown location is better, but if you're careful driving, and are an honest person, this location is good too.

Average. This is the only second cup near Burlington GO. As with many places in the area it doesn't try very hard. Staff were nice, the place was bright and slightly upscale with laptop tables and stools. They do have drive through and limited parking available. If your are the only coffee spot in the area it should be good, this was just normal Second Cup.

I love the Brant Street location the staff is amazing but I was very disappointed yesterday when I saw how hot the café was. Sweat was dripping off the one employees face I felt so bad. Please fix the air conditioner for everybody not just the customers for the staff too they work so hard!

It's a coffee shop chain, that being said this location was clean, had fast friendly service and the coffee was decent. The breakfast sandwich was pretty good, the cheese in particular was melty and tasty???????? and the sausage patty was slighty spicy. I would definitely have this again. The cheese scone was a bit dry, and the flavour was just okay...nothing special.

Ordered a large ice coffee in the drive through, got to the window and was handed a hot coffee. I said I had ordered an ice coffee, and was told sorry, no problem. A few minutes later I was handed what looked like an ice coffee. As I drove away I realized that they had just simply dumped the hot coffee into the plastic cup over ice. The drink was warm and the ice melted away in a few seconds. Not exactly the flash cold brew advertised. Totally surprised to see this at a “higher end” coffee shop. UPDATE - emailed the company on Oct 7th as per the copy and paste response below, as well as a follow up email on Oct 14th. Received no response at all.

It is very clean and the coffee is good. Comfortable furniture and a nice environment. The only negative, and it is quite a problem, is that the coffee grinder is incredibly noisy which makes a 'quiet chat' somewhat of a challenge.
