Friendly staff but watch your stuff. Someone just picked up my BF's mittens as he was still sitting there. People saw the lady pick them up as if she was headed to the counter to hand them in as lost but the counter people don't have them. Why someone would steal a pair of mittens is beyond me. Pathetic. In response to the coffee shop's enquiry regarding the 2 stars and whether it was for service...Google asks about your experience. That can mean various things. It was one experience. I mentioned the staff was friendly so I meant it clear it had nothing to do with the staff, just that the EXPERIENCE was not a great one. I hope this clarifies my review.

Pretty good little cafe, coffee is consistently good. There's some small bites to be had but they're pretty expensive. Good areas to set up with a laptop or to read with some nice natural light coming in the windows. The only thing better would be to work on the patio / outdoor space but all in all, a good local cafe.

I love that a Rosso opened in our neighbourhood! As a couple that works from home, it's nice to hop on our bikes and head over there to work or take a break. The atmosphere is lovely and the coffee is awesome. Highly recommend.

I love the interior of this location! It's really homey. Drinks at Rosso are always good, staff are super friendly. It's a nice spot to study or grab coffee! However, it does get a lot of sun in the windows in the summer so I do find that it can get quite warm and they aren't open very late which doesn't work for any night owls.

Sigh. I wanted to love it. The coffee is, of course amazing. The decor is awesome. But it took 20 minutes to get two to-go coffees. There were only two people working during the morning rush. Cooking, on the bar, everything. There is nowhere to park because most locals only have one parking space and use all the street parking. I don’t recommend this location.

This Rosso store opened last month very close to where I live. I finally was able to come in and check it out firsthand as I have heard very positive reviews of the other stores. The store was well set up. There is a big table so you can have a coffee and work (or play) on your notebook. There were also 4 seats at the counter (where I sat) along with a very comfortable sitting area that consisted of contemporary chairs and a couch. The outdoor patio was not open yet. Overall a very cozy enviornment. The coffee was exceptional but I really loved the Spicy Thai Chicken soup. Absolutely delicious! It was not as spicy as one would think. My spouse thought the Banana bread was to die for! I had a phenominal first experience with Rosso. I highly recommend this place if you are in the neighborhood.

Nice location on a corner with a patio, but I still found I didn't like this location too much. Inside the colors and feeling is a bit sterile, not as comfy as others, and although they had a decent selection of chairs, there aren't tables accompanying them. Now I only tried brewed coffee, but that itself was pretty terrible so my hope is not high for the rest of it. If you live nearby, need a quick drink, or want to sit outside, then this place may be good for you. Otherwise? Strong Meh.

I visited Rosso while visiting Calgary from abroad for the first time-- and it is wicked! The coffee and food (including the soups) are delicious and fairly priced. There's a great assortment of products you can buy off the shelf from cups to mugs to freshly roasted coffee beans. The shack also has speedy wi-fi which is a huge plus and when paired with the expansive seating options and fabulous ambiance, it makes for a great spot to work from. Things I tried & liked: Chai Latte - The latte was impeccably crafted and was just about what you'd expect from a chai latte. Things I tried & disliked: Thai Chicken Soup - While the soup tasted pretty decent, it was just far too salty. I couldn't get myself to finish it.

Great neighbourhood coffee place! Coffee was well-done, good 'non-dairy' whitening options...however I would recommend a non-dairy 'creamer' option (Silk & SoFresh make great ones). Alley way snow removal truck/trailer prohibited parking in the store's spots, but I'm guessing that's more on the property owner/management company. Keep up the great work!

They lose a star because the last couple of times it took over 15 minutes to make my drink, which wasn't complicated but just a bit short staffed. I'm a big nitro brew fan as well, and I find their nitro brew inconsistent from batch to batch. Otherwise a great shop.

One of the best local roasters in Calgary. Great drip and espresso coffee. Good selection of food. Excellent baked goods (the muffins are to die for and they even have gluten free baked goods), nice salads, breakfast sandwiches, really good Thai chicken soup and the yogurt parfait is amazing.

Great quality coffee, especially for a chain. The sandbag is bar none the best breakfast sandwich ever. Staff at this location are always friendly, and have been incredible and very accomodating of our early morning orders during the pandemic.

This is my go to coffee shop. Rosso's serves amazing drinks and the baristas here are very fun and friendly. The noise inside is a little bit loud at times which makes it hard to have a conversation, but overall atmosphere is great.

Always a good experience at this place. Great coffee, perfect ambience and awesome staff. Finding parking at Tuxedo location can be a little hard sometimes, but have always been able to find a spot with some patience. Good place to hang out with friends, business meetings or solo sessions.

Always love the coffee at rosso but this last time the service was horrendous. Seemed like the 2 ladies working (lady in green sweater), did not want to be there and definitely did not want us to be there. We were not greeted or provided with friendly service. Shame as we liked coming here.

Place is fairly nice but the constant smell of burned oil in the air makes it really unpleasant to sit in this place. I like coffee shops that smell like coffee, not burned oil.

I love Rosso but this location is terrible in comparison. They gave me a regular milk latte when I ordered almond milk due to an allergy. I understand human error can happen, but that's why barista's should be extra diligent when pouring and steaming milk. Will not return to this location again.

Harvest muffin didn’t have anything in it, it was basically a vanilla cupcake for 3.75+tax. The pumpkin maple spice latte has A LOT of nutmeg on the bottom of the cup. I mentioned these things to the workers and they said “okay” and walked away..
