My local haunt- I love the atmosphere and the customer service is lovely. The espresso is to die for and you can tell they carefully select it. It's a lovely new location and I'm so glad it's near where I live. I wish they had a bit more seating because it's hard to find a place to sit when I am there. Also, for some reason, myself and a few of my friends really don't like their drip coffee. But everything else is perfect.

Love lattes sweet latte my preference but I'm diabetic so probably shouldn't have it, but they have no flavoured syrup or sugar free syrup! So I splurge!! They are helpful to me as I am deaf, free parking on side street but parking on 9 ave is pay but meter was hard to find?? Love they have couch but usually full! Has outdoor seating in summer great area to have your dogs with you! Muffins are good, breakfast sandwich is good too few options but good food!

Hot chocolate was great, as was the carrot cake, but the "spicy" thai chicken soup and italian meat sandwich left something to be desired. Also, once we sat down, I couldn't see whether they had any pepper or extra napkins anywhere. Food and drink came to more than $26, but wasn't worth that price. I'd have the hot chocolate and cake again, but skip the rest.

Coffee is great, however, I have been waiting on an online order for about two weeks. I missed the original delivery due to my building intercom being down and have not been able to come in contact with their online store at all. I have since sent three emails, left a Facebook message, asked an in store employee to send an email to the office for me and as of now left a review. All I can say is, if you are buying beans, buy it in store, otherwise you may never get them. Update: I finally got a response from Rosso logistics, and we have worked things out.

I come in often to grab coffee and a sandwich for work. Noticed they changed their chickpea sandwich and purchased it excited to try it. To my surprise their one vegan sandwich is no longer vegan. It now has egg and cheese. It was honestly the only reason I would keep returning. So some lucky person gets to enjoy a 10 dollar sandwich (also that’s an outrageous price for chickpeas) since I wasn’t able to eat it.

I find Rosso to be great for coffees with a unique flavour. Their lattes in particular have a considerably stronger flavor than you will typically find elsewhere. Their baked goods are also great value compared to other shops. You get a larger portion for the price (which is generally higher due to being a more expensive cafe). This location is convenient to access being just outside of the core. There is usually plenty of street parking or you can park briefly a block off of 9 Ave and take a short walk. No parking lot is available for this location.

I like the espresso beans used by Rosso. They claim that they are fair price sourced but for me the most important issue is the taste. Make sure you ask for a extra hot latte or you can miss out on the flavour of the grind and end up with a luke warm mug of a mellow mixture. Even the breakfast sandwich was tasty.

I had misread the website while trying to purchase gifts for guest speakers we were having at an event late last year. I got my coffee on time and it was perfect and a big hit - but then I kept getting billed. And coffee kept coming! Both the best and worst problem ever - ha. The staff at Rosso and online were wonderful, explaining how I'd misunderstood what I'd purchased and asked absolutely no questions in returning my money and cancelling my subscription. Their food is also amazing. They have great options that are DIFFERENT. It's easy to get vegan, veg and regular options all the while serving up some of the best coffee in town. Bravo Rosso! The two things I look for in a latte are good foam and no "sour" aftertaste. Rosso has both: excellent dense, creamy foam and a smooth, balanced coffee. The sweet latte is barely sweetened, which was perfect for me. Staff are friendly and welcoming. The cashier made eye contact! Seems like lately the cashiers in other coffee shops I've visited have not been enjoying their work, so this was a lovely change.

Solid coffee shop in the downtown area. Easily accessible by foot or +15 (depending on where you are) which is a big help in the winter. The staff is typically quite good but it is a busy location and they can get a bit distracted.

I absolutely love Rosso, especially the fabulous team at the Inglewood location! I love it so much that I walk a 5km loop to get my weekend daily latte - sooooo totally worth it! My only sadface moment/suggestion for the team is that as someone allergic to nuts I'm always bummed to miss out on a tasty treat to have with my latte because all the baked goods but the cheese biscuit and the cookie have nuts. If there's anyway to expand the baked goods section or rotate a few items now and then to items without nuts that would be AMAZING :-)

Stopped there to use the bathroom before going on a Pokemon Go adventure with my daughter and I ordered a large hot chocolate. Never been to this café before, so I'm not sure if this is the way they make hot chocolate there, but I was really disappointed because it was expensive and it didn't taste like chocolate (cocoa, cacao) or nothing remotely similar. It looked nice with the little heart on the top, the texture was nice and thick, but it tasted like milk or cream or something similar, but nothing like the way chocolate is supposed to taste. Sorry guys, but you should go to a place like Mexico or Colombia to try the chocolate and learn how it's supposed to taste!

How can a business that specializes in a product not get their product right? I ordered an extra dry traditional cappuccino. Maybe the fault is on me since I assumed which tradition it was being made in. I understand that sometimes things don't come out just right. And because I am aware of inconsistencies at times this is not based on an isolated outcome. Multiple orders, some with the same drinks, some not. End result, disappointment. There is a big difference between providing something that someone will accept and delivering the best something that you are capable of.

I entered this coffee shop simply intending to use the public washroom. The concerned look on my face (when you’ve gotta go, you’ve gotta go!) was mistaken for illness and despite not even attempting to purchase anything, the staff showed genuine concern for me and even offered a free cup of tea. Any store that cares that much for the people that walk through the store deserve the highest praise! I am so appreciative of the staff of Russo!

The interior design is fantastic at this cafe with plenty of seating areas and high ceiling, and the service is fast, but I would not recommend getting the cold brew here. It has a peculiar, unpleasant taste and nowhere near as potent as the one you can get from starbucks.

I live right around the corner and this is a great spot to grab a quick coffee, or to provide me with a change of scenery when studying. They have free (open) wifi available, and plenty of seating with outlets to keep your devices charged. The coffee is always amazing and made to your specifications, though a bit pricey for those specialty drinks. I just tried their baked goods on my most recent visit and they were surprisingly fresh, moist, and very delicious. Parking may cause an issue for some, especially on weekends as Inglewood tends to attract the weekend crowd.

This review is only for the sandwich I had. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. The Turkey sandwich was pretty average and not worth $10 in my opinion. Find lunch elsewhere. However, the people were very friendly and the location is great.

Always an awesome stop for any coffee or tea. I love Rossos it's my favourite place for coffee shop especially for the cold brew! I love they have growlers that you can take home. There regular coffee is so good, by their method or their beans it is better than most other local roasts. I like the creamy Earl Grey tea it's my favourite Earl Grey. This place has exception customer service and is consistently better than other places. If you're disappointed you'd be a rare exception.

When this place gets busy, there is not much sitting room. I love that they sell coffee brewing equipment and their own roasted coffee. The pour-over I had was nice and prepared with care. I ordered a hot chocolate to support the YYC Hot Chocolate Fest, but I was not given or even offered the Marble Coconut Hot Chocolate. I asked for my drinks "to stay" but one of them was prepared in a paper cup. Nevertheless, I did like this place and will most likely be back when I'm in the area.

Slow service. It took well over 15 minutes to receive a simple drink, despite being the only order in line. I watched staff perform maintenance tasks rather than addressing orders on the bar. I’ve worked at cafes and can appreciate there are other tasks that need to be completed, however I was quite disappointed with the service at this location. Rosso coffee is excellent, I will just be choosing a different location in the future

The Inglewood location is great for groups and has lots of seating as well as nice areas for studying alone. They have a great selection of pour-over coffees and a great sweet latte. Rosso goes to great lengths to source ethical and unique beans from many locations and this small business is worth a visit.
