This Coffee Shop belongs to the category of Coffee shop.
Best Americano in Edmonton!!
very proffetional and very deliciously made
I totally missed this cafe the very first time I tried to find it! This cafe was absolutely beautiful inside. It was super cozy with beautiful twinkly lights! They also got a good selection of treats. It wasn’t too loud there so people definitely could study there!
Nice coffee shop with a laid back atmosphere, lots of tables to sit at and quiet enough to have a conversation. Their scones are excellent!
My favorite edmonton coffee spot!
Chill place to get your coffee fix and have meetings. The bacon cheddar biscuit sandwich is amazing.
This was place is the best coffee shop in Edmonton. If I want to schedule a meeting with somebody I would do it here. It just has the right atmosphere and vibe.
Best flat whites, consistently. Pastries are unique, small & rich.
This place has great coffee, great vibe and delicious food!
Success has made them cocky. I was left hanging at the counter for 3 mins while the guy who I presume is the manager talked on the phone. My pastry was cold and old (like my heart). You've got one chance to make it better, or I'm going across the street.
favorite coffee place
During the day this is a nice spot and relatively quiet. The service is friendly and the lox bagel is really good! Unfortunately I did not get to try the dessert, as I had pre-paid for it and forgot to pick it up on my way out. Oh well, this means I get to go back for another bagel next week and see if I can get the muffin.
For the same price as Starbucks I got way better food, service and atmosphere! I was mildly confused which door to go in but don't worry, it's the one that says Lock Stock Coffee. I thought a cafe in a pub might be unappealing, but it actually looked nice and felt kinda cozy. I went on a Wednesday morning. It was fairly busy and there was a lot of conversation, but the venue means there's a lot of tables/space so you could still do work there. Looked like they had a good coffee and sandwich menu, as well as some pastries. Got a latte and a ham tartine. Both were really good, I thought it was fun they served the latte in a pint glass although they probably do that out of convenience. Staff bring the food to your table/take your dishes. The only negative was they gave me a fork and butter knife, which had no hope of cutting through the French bread's crust, so I just ate it with my hands and man it was greasy.
The inside is classic and cozy with an early 1900s feel perfect for both the cafe and pub sides. Coffee is good but the food is fantastic. I had the most delicious breakfast sandwich (bacon and egg English muffin) - seriously it was ridiculous how good it tasted. The Staff is friendly and service is quick. Definitely check it out!
Great drinks. Breakfast sandwiches are fantastic!
Great place to sit down for a quality Americano
Lock Stock is great. I work nearby and am here a couple of times a week hanging out with people and drinking their delicious hot chocolate. The people who work there are super nice and their baked goods are delicious. Definitely recommended.
Best place downtown for coffee. They don't do drip coffee but they do make a mean americano. I like how they open up Red Star pub during the day so you can sit and linger over coffee. Makes for a much better vibe than a traditional cafe.
Great coffee in a cool atmosphere. They make killer mini muffins too.
I really enjoyed the coffee and atmosphere a lot a nice place to meet with friends, meet for work or take a date. The only downside is parking as I really dislike paying to park on top of paying for my coffee. I will go again when I am downtown but I most likely will not go out of my way.
Great place to sit and enjoy a great coffee and a breakfast sandwich on Jasper ave.
Simple menu and all espresso coffee based drinks. Coffee is from Ace roasters and great. I'd come back.
Delicious chai lattes. Great atmosphere. Baked goods are great too!
Good coffee and breakfasty snacks. Love that a pub is a coffee bar during the day.
Solid coffee and the best saviour scone I have ever had. It was out of control and warm. Can’t wait to go back
Cozy and tasty. Love to try the different scones baked fresh daily.
Try the malva pudding cake. It's all you will ever need in life. I assume its magical powers can heal cancer????.
Just ordered the bacon egg breakfast sandwich, BLT breakfast sandwich with tomato jam and a cinnamon twist.....my day has been made!
This may be the only place in Edmonton to get kouign Amann which is worth 5 stars on its own. Parking is not easy as it's downtown. Does not appear to be accessible if in a wheelchair. Serves excellent coffee. Lunch is an option here though I've never been. It does appear to be busy for lunch so it's probably decent. Will return for the baking alone.
Delicious bagels and Ace espresso beverages. Super friendly staff and the place has a unique vibe.
Great made to order breakfast sandwiches.
Nice quiet morning spot, went during the morning when it's an eatery. Very clean establishment and friendly staff
Great atmosphere yummy coffee
Great vibe. Intimate yet open. Will be back.
Great spot to start your morning. Good coffee and more than expected seating when you first look at it. They also have a great selection of background music.
Great coffee and amazingly friendly staff! I photographed some clients here a little while ago. Everyone was so helpful and it was nothing but a good time. I didn't have a chance to try the food, but I hear that is amazing too. I will definitely be going back.

I love that there are so many places to get great coffee in Edmonton. This is one of my favorites. The main cafe area feels spacious, unlike most cafes, making it ideal for sitting with your friends, coworkers, or meeting your clients. I also enjoy that they have a section for grab and go, that allows those in need of a quick fix, without wading through the traffic or tables of the main area.
A very great and nice atmosphere for your coffee and for meet up with friends. First time here and I love the staffs and the taste of the coffee. I will surely be back here....
This is one of our family favorite coffee shops to go to. Great and friendly staff, amazing coffee and teas made to order as well as some amazing pastries, delicious sandwiches and more. I highly recommend the Lock Stock BLT on lightly toasted Focaccia bread and the house-made tomato jam is the best I have ever had! My girls love their cinnamon twist pastries, they get them every time. Enjoy!
Love Lock Stock! Their cheddar biscuits are to die for. Pairs nicely with a Gibraltar :)
My favourite cafe in Edmonton! Excellent espresso drinks and the best breakfast sandwiches. Great atmosphere inside too.
Great comfortable atmosphere. Excellent coffee. Great food to choose from. Just wish it was kore physically accessible.
Pretty good coffee with a creative take on some tasty breakfast sandwiches. The pastries and baked good are usually very good
Worth a weekly visit.
Cute little coffee shop that is attached or part of Red Star. They do the switch over in the afternoon between 3 and 4pm. Since it is part of Red Star it carries that cute pub/tavern feel that radiates a low key and chill atmosphere. The staff were friendly and it almost feels like a hidden off gem cause it's not super noticeable from the street and you have to go down the stairs to get to the shop. I was pleasantly surprised by their latte with almond milk (probably one of the best lattes i have had in a long time) and the peanut butter cookie was tasty too. I think the only downside, and likely because it was originally a pub/tavern first, is that there is a lack of plug ins that we would normally be accustomed to in a standard coffee shop. Still worth a visit though.
love this cute little coffee spot and their pear ricotta scone
I am sad it has taken me as long as it did to wonder into Lock Stock. The coffee is great, and the quality of food is a rare find for its price and location. If you are looking for a breakfast spot on a lazy Saturday morning this relaxed underground style pub will be sure to delight.
The whole staff is Incredible! The coffee (espresso) is on another level and my wife and I can't get enough.
Easily the best pull of espresso in YEG, second only to maybe Transcend in Ritchie. Food was tasty and the prices well within reasonable given the quality.
Great little daytime coffee bar located downtown Edmonton with a friendly pub atmosphere and decent espresso and snacks. I rate their espresso as excellent although I would ask for a long pour personally. The chocolate cookie goes very well with the espresso. It appears quite popular with the downtown crowd.
Very cozy. Great coffee. Nice if you want to sit and chat with someone.
Really enjoy the coffee and food at this great downtown spot!
Great chai latte, the malted chocolate cookie was very tasty, and the staff was great! The pseudo-pub vibe was great! I'll definitely be going back.
Nice hipster joint in a great location. Good for a coffee with friends.
Vibes are cool the coffee is great!
Liked the atmosphere in the place, still gets a lot of sunlight inside despite it being in the basement area.
Delicious food and coffee! I really enjoyed the breakfast sandwich I had. Very nice space with lots of larger tables. I came for a meeting and it wasn’t too loud. I think this place becomes Red Star at night and I would love to check that out too!
Fantastic place to grab a coffee and have meetings, and they have the best baked goods in the city. Great vibes.
Great coffee and convenient place to hold a meeting or work on your laptop for a few hours. Will be back for sure!
Great place to grab a coffee while having a work team meeting
Adequate coffe but the price is way too high for it.
Consistently amazing coffee. Get the biscuit sandwich.
Very good breakfast sandwiches.
Curtados (called Gibraltar there) are good, albeit a touch small for my taste.
Best coffee shop in Edmonton! From great coffee to mouth watering food, highly recommend the focaccia sandwich’s and the almond cakes. They also donated all coffee proceeds to the come up from June 10-12! They truly are the best.
Consistently good coffee and always somewhere good to sit and chat. Their baked goods are spot on too :)
I love this shop! It's so tasty. They have really tasty food and baked goods every day, everything I've tried tastes amazing. Although they seem pretty high volume during rush periods everything they do seems really efficient as I have never had to wait long for drinks or food! They're my favorite coffee shop.
Omg Found this little gem downtown. It looked dark so just some advice to owners. Put a 'Open sign lit up. I almost thought it was another covid casualty. Had the salmon Lox Cream cheese Absolutely superb. SUPPORT LOCAL
Very well mannered staff
Fantastic service, drinks and ambiance. Went here for coffee with a friend and everything about the experience was fantastic. Its a place i would go with friends or even to study . Can not recommend Lock Stock Coffee enough!!

Excellent coffee. Great vibe.
Best espresso in town, anazing pastries, great atmosphere, top-notch staff (Samantha)
Short hours, love the space and the exploration of fast dash morning start food. The coffee is always great and the staff are a gem. Don't get me started on the water, it's a great treat. Must come again.
Nice cozy old style atmosphere. Good coffee and scones.
Super cool cafe in on the basement level. Their baked goods are to die for, especially the cheese biscuit. Never knew it was there, since it's hidden, but it's a great place to study since it isn't super loud like some cafes.
Great atmosphere. Limited breakfast selection but what they do have was made perfectly. A bit odd finding the half underground entrance from the street, but overall very pleasant spot with good food
Good coffee delicious sandwiches and a cozy atmosphere with friendly staff
Nice and cozy. Good music. Good coffee and cakes
Neat little nook where you can grab a good coffee on your way or stop in for a break. It's not at street level and it is just far enough removed from the 'hustle' to relax a bit.
Great coffee and food!
A little loud, but great place to meet and chat
Great lattes and their breakfast sammiches are delicious. The SNAGL is insane too. Get it with a black coffee. Solid combo!
Great little coffee shop, I love the atmosphere.
Coffee and food are amazing, but a bit pricey.
Love it. Just with it was open on Sundays
Fantastic coffee and pastries. A must go to treat yourself en route to work or school.
Great.
Hard to find, but the vegan/veggie option is typically good!
Happy mornings
The coffee is well done. To eat, the dark chocolate espresso cake is amazing.
Location: I’m not going to lie, it’s a bit of a dungeon. Sure, plenty of daylight filters down from street level, but you’re always going to feel like you’re underground. Setting: It’s a dark-stained wood-paneled pub with church pews. Pretty consistent with the whole dungeon vibe. Service: Both our host and server were delightful and cheery – which did a lot to lighten the mood. Drink: I ordered a chai latte which was artfully crafted by someone who obviously takes pride in their work. It was less sweet than a traditional chai which made it better for me, no doubt, but honestly less tasty. Food: I had the bacon and egg English muffin and it was fantastic! Once again, this was obviously made by someone who cares. My only complaint was the choice to add arugula. Now this was my fault since I didn’t read the menu description carefully, but I do wonder how there are so many people who enjoy this bitter-tasting herb. I may not be in the majority here, but never in my life have I thought any dish could be improved if it only tasted more like poison.
Best coffee shop in town! Try the gibraltar
Free wifi. Comfy atmosphere. Delicious eats. Convenient location. It could use a nap room but I think that of every place I visit. It's pricey but worth it in my opinion. They have oat milk and cold brew, too!
So yummy
Great little spot for a quick cup of joes, or a flat white to stay.
Great coffee and baked goods. I'm always happy to get a latte and a herb and cheddar biscuit. There's lots of room for seating so I often suggest to meet friends and colleagues here.
Took a bit to find it as it's downstairs in the building but adds to the appeal of a "hole in the wall" kind of place that is surprising spacious, lots of room to sit or just grab a coffee and some tasty looking pastries. I think they also have other food options as well.

Great lunch destination if your in downtown Edmonton. The food was delicious and the service was fast and friendly.
Bar/coffee shop. Cozy and decent coffee.
This is my second time here. It was busy but a large enough establishment that tables were still available. Once I ordered and paid it was a reasonable wait for the food. I ordered the $8.00 breakfast sandwich which was delicious. Actually more than delicious, it tasted gourmet. It was not your average breakfast sandwich. Big appetites might want more but for the price it's fine and probably the best breakfast sandwich I've had in a long time. My Americano was quite good and at $3.00 also reasonably priced. As my second visit was even better than my first time, you can be sure that I'll be back a third time.
I've been going here since it opened and today there were zero tables. It was distressing. I remember when we would basically have the place to ourselves! Happy to see this great team seeing this success though — it's well deserved. You won't regret the peanut butter cookies, fyi. Best ever!
Nice coffe joint
I came for the coffee and stayed for the delicious scones and great place to read and work.
Awesome coffee and a great place to meet with clients!
Came to this location years ago when it was a bar, went back and saw the amazing changes. Service was fast and it was a local place to stop by and say hello to a friend.
Great spot for coffee and a delicious bite to eat (savoury or sweet)! Their malted cookie and Kouign Amann are my personal favourites.
Mmmm. Pastry.
In the dark basement, delicious coffee brews.
Great little place, I always love popping in here. Coffee is good, scones are amazing, and the breakfast sandwiches are tasty.
The drinks were not great, overall would not recommend.
Some of the best coffee I've had in the city, joined with a really nice ambience, and some of the most delicious baked goods I've ever had. Strongly recommended as a nice place to meet for a morning chat with friends.
Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, good coffee. Also, acoustics were good, so speaking and listening were in no way impaired... So overall a good place to have a drink and catch up with friends.
Excellent, affordable food in the downtown area. Friendly employees. Great place to study, socialize, or grab a drink! Will definitely come back again!
Loved the pastry and my latte
Lock Stock Coffee In the heart of Edmonton Downtown. Very cozy and comfy environment. Nice music and ambient lighting. Spacious seating. Safe dining with all necessary precautions needed during Covid times. Friendly Staff. Quick Service. Limited choices to order from. Small portion size. Traditional cutlery. Beautiful presentation. Excellent taste. True Canadian Vibe ???????? Ambiance 5/5 Service 4/5 Taste 4/4 Value for Money 4/4 Must Visit!!!
Excellence services, nice and welcoming staffs.
Amazing coffee. Amazing baked goods. The cookies and muffins are always amazing. Plenty of space to hang out.
Pros: volume not too bad, nice wooden interior Cons: terrible egg & lox sandwich. Small. Egg was scrambled (?) and lox was cooked (!)
Got two Drinks and two sandwiches to go. My iced London fog was perfect! The egg sandwiches were good but I prefer a bigger English muffin. Loved it though and the pub style vibes were excellent.

One of the best cappuccinos in town
Decent price and great coffee
Such a cool hidden gem on Jasper. I’ve wanted to visit for a couple years, and it didn’t disappoint! Love the old wood and unique atmosphere. Friendly baristas. Enjoyed a well balanced latte with smooth espresso paired with quality Elmhurst almond milk. My father had a hot chocolate, which looked to be steamed with dark chocolate chunks (maybe not for those with extreme sweet tooth’s, but perfect for the dark chocolate connoisseurs). They are also on top of the covid precautions, with plexi glass, disinfecting and hand sanitizer. It doesn’t appear to have wifi, but I may be wrong. Plenty of pay parking, or find somewhere residential and take a 15 walk, like we did.

Just too pretentious
One of the best cappuccino's I've ever had. Food is great too. It's housed in the same place as RedStar
Chill spot to work or wait. Coffee and food is tasty, plugins for charging are available, window views....if you have your face in a book or comp, you don't need much else. Stick around on the first Wednesday of every month for Carribean Night! Their (shop reverts back to Red Star) jerk chicken is bomb!
Whether it’s a coffee to go or spending some time enjoying the great brew in house, local downtown favorite in #yeg♥️☕️???? Location: Jasper ave and 105street. Edmonton, Alberta #yeg . A few steps down from the main street, you can’t miss the big Red Star (The coffee shop entrance is to the right of Red Star Pub) Parking: Jasper ave and surrounding area street parking or parkades. I use MyEPark app for convenience, unless I actually have change on hand in my vehicle. Time: I have had the pleasure of stopping in during my lunch hours midday. I do go out of my way to stop here as opposed to larger chain coffee shops Downtown. Ambience: Music is not too loud, dim and warm lighting. Friendly and smiling staff each time I visited. Free WiFi available. The music selection is always on point...I actually don't know how this is possible each and every time I step foot in here! Food/drink: I enjoyed their BLT, which was super tasty with a hint of sweetness. Vanilla latte with almond milk. Excellent ???? Allergy/diet accommodations: wish they had more gluten friendly options, but nobody’s perfect ???? They offer non-dairy milk varieties if you enjoy lattes like me. Service and Quality: When it comes to coffee...I love me some great quality. I find it here. In addition, if you get the chance to sit down to enjoy your lunch here...do it...they serve their large lattes in a Pint glass, but its served at the perfect temperature so you can actually touch the glass so its not too hot, so you can also sip it right away, without waiting for it to cool! Overall wonderful experience☕️

Try the lox bagel! It's a fantastic twist - a citrusy one at that! - on the classic that is amazing! The mocha was devine as well, with the chocolate sauce made in house with a nice spice to it.
Best coffee and atmosphere in downtown Edmonton
The best baristas, super friendly! Great coffee and the best kouign-amann you'll ever find!
The coffee and food here are crazy good! Everything I've had has been beyond my expectations and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Favourite snacks so far are the herb and cheese biscuit, the chocolate espresso cake, and the citrus olive oil cake. It's going to be hard to stay away now that I know about this place!
Amazing lattes and tasty, fresh food! Best lattes in Edmonton. Before I moved away from Edmonton, this was my go to spot since it was in my downtown neighborhood. Whenever I visit Edmonton, I will be dropping by!
Most amazing baked goods!! Superior quality for a great price. Atmosphere in here is so cozy!
Their pastries are delicious but the one that stands out the most is the Kouign Aman. It is probably one of the most delicious pastries I have ever had!
Great coffee, a little expensive but worth it
Great atmosphere, delicious coffee and treats, and awesome staff.
Cute little hidden cafe downstairs with good lattes.
Great cappuccinos!
It's worth disclosing that a close friend of mine works here and this is how I found myself at Lock Stock. I'm picky about my coffee, but not so picky that I'm unwilling to risk a bad cup. I love taking my friends' suggestions... I'm just glad that I didn't have to feign enjoyment with my experience at Lock Stock. The space is quiet and well curated - not kitschy or tacky or overwhelming - and even though this space is technically in a basement, the lighting feels welcoming and cozy. The espresso is pulled well and they use beans (Ace roasters, I think?) that really please my palate. Not acidic, not flowery, and a perfect medium. Prices are expected for a contemporary cafe like this. I didn't try the food, nothing particularly enticed me for lunch as I'm not a huge fan of sandwiches, but I'd like to return for dinner and drinks in the evening when it's Red Star. So, yes, get your coffee here if you're in the heart of downtown. It's well worth it, and makes for a delightful place to work or chat or just take a break.
Great shop to enjoy a latte. Very limited menu but it what they have is made well.
Cute little place tucked in a basement in downtown. We only ordered to-go coffee and it was okay. The blonde woman with a nose ring who took my order was very rude. I've only been there once. Maybe I'll give them another chance? I'm curious what the food and atmosphere is like.
Lock Stock is one of our top choices to grab a coffee when downtown. Their baked items are also amazing. The seating area is great and the staff are very good. Overall a fantastic place to visit.
Spectacularly good coffee and exceptionally great staff!! Tasty treats, too!
Excellent baked goods and atmosphere. Always a treat!
Quiet place great coffee
Genuine service and I loved the vibe!
Great coffee, nice atmosphere. Worth checking it out
Incredible coffee and incredible sandwiches and amazing pastries, all in a chill environment with beautifully curated music playlists. Favorite coffee spot in Edmonton.
Great vegan desert and must try the oat milk coffee latte
Very cute coffee shop! Great food and surprisingly affordable prices considering most "hipster" shops charge an arm and a leg. I believe the shop turns into more of a bar/restaurant later in the day so there's a plethora of seating inside.
Wonderful hidden gem. A great place to catch up with your friends. The service is very good and so is their coffee and food.
Amazing coffee and food. Favourite coffeehouse.
Get the carrot cake bites and thank me later.
Some of the best execution of espresso in the city by far! But the best part are the magical baked goods. They’re god damned kryptonite I can’t help but order tons, eat several and share the rest.
One of my favourite coffee spots to study in the city. Lattes are always excellent and there's a cool selection of pastries. Lots of seating and good wifi. No outlets though so come charged!
Love the atmosphere of this place along with the friendly/attentive staff. Their coffee selection is great and the pastries are yummy....try the kouign amann pastry, it’s to die for ????
Cozy, perfect
One of the only coffee shops downtown that make a gibraltar
The service is very good
Really nice, cosy place. I really like the decor, and the location is great. Their desserts are pretty good. They are kind of pricey, though.
Excellent food. Had the lox biscuit and it was made from scratch and delicious. Also had the hot chocolate which was not too sweet or heavy.
TL;DR amazing spot. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Amazing food. Perfect Americano. Location/Atmosphere: It is on Jasper below Watari. You can't miss the sign: walk down the stairs. The lighting is perfect. It has plenty of seating and a great vibe. Food/Drink: My Americano was perfect. I also had the Focaccia BLT: And, damn--the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. Fair warning, the cold brew has a floral taste to it, which some may like, but my significant other did not enjoy. Staff: wait staff were super well informed with the menu, worked well together, and were extremely personable and polite. Proce point: a little on the high end, but this is a case of you pay for what you get.
Service is great. And their saturday breakfast biscut sandwich is also really tastey. One of my fave places for a good latter. Just a little pricey.
Great place good coffee
Tucked away so you need to look for the Red star and then go down some stairs to find it. Quiet and cozy setting, upbeat jazzy music not to loud. Saturdays they have special breakfast sandwiches. I ordered the lox biscuit and it did not disappoint!!! Tastey warm herbed biscuit with fresh lettuce, tomatoe and a creamy dill sauce melded amazingly with he lox.
One of the best coffee shops ever. Been here quite a few times now and the cappuccinos are consistently amazing, love the to-stay cups they serve their coffees in, the ambience is super nice and relaxed, and the service is very efficient and friendly.
Always friendly and welcoming. Super charged coffee
Great place to work. Trendy and good tables for laptops.
Very good Americano coffee! The only thing I could be somewhat critical of is the pub like atmosphere.
A consistently wonderful experience. Everything is delicious, the espresso drinks, pastries, sandwiches, and even the water (that is thoughtfully available near the counter) is tastier than most water.
If you have never tried the Malva Pudding Cake from Lock Stock Coffee... Don't walk... RUN! This is the most delicious treat you will taste all week, guaranteed.
Best Americano and scones
My favourite cafe downtown! Such a convenient location on Jasper Ave with lots of seating. Baristas are always friendly and the carrot cake is perfection!
Awesome food loveeeeeee it cant wait to go back again.
Genuinely friendly service, delicious coffee and food (I had a vegan sandwich with roasted cauliflower on house-made foccaccia) all set in a classy location. It feels tucked away but still right downtown. I will definitely be frequenting this spot.
Best espresso I've ever had!
The baked goods were amazing. This spot is a must try.
Very cool coffee shop located in a basement pub. The windows look out to Jasper Ave and they serve great quality espresso coffee drinks and breakfast sandwiches. Ambience is very hip, seems like a business crowd there. Is nice enough for business meetings if you're looking for a casual place downtown. I had a mocha myself, with some impressive coffee art. Definitely a spot worth checking out! If they had named it 'Lock Stock and Two Smoking Bagels,' I would be trying to buy the place myself LOL.
Nice place, i believe it doubles as a bar at night. Had an iced mocha in a whisky glass i think. Kinda expensive for coffee but it was good. Sat at the bar staring at liquor.
Hidden gem! I love the coffee and they have the best fresh baked pastries I've ever had!!
Best coffee in the City!
The best for business meeting
Coffee is great. Pastries are awesome. But the mocha is AMAZING. One of the best things I've ever put in my mouth. They use dark chocolate, cinnamon and espresso and it's smooth, creamy and not overly sweet. So refreshing while also so satisfying.
Cute coffee place with great atmosphere. Limited food selection.
Nice seating and ambience but gets really loud quickly. Coffee was pretty average in my opinion. Loved the decor.
Great coffee and great service with a wonderful smile.
Best coffee and breakfast sandwiches in town.
Enjoyed a cappuccino and a pear ricotta scone. Delicious! Good food, good service, cozy atmosphere!
Solid Latte
Super cute and great drinks. I had the lok bagel and it was FANTASTIC
Friendly service and great food.
Nice blend of coffee with warm and fresh pastries Thanks guys
I have only been here in the mornings a few times, so I only had the chance to try out a few of their breakfast sandwiches and coffee. While simple in presentation, you can really taste the flavour of all the ingredients. For instance, the subtle sweetness of the house-made tomato jam stands out with the savoury taste of the meat. Americano is pretty much what you would expect as well. Service is also pretty quick, and the workers are friendly. I’ll definitely be back to try out some more, especially some of their fresh baked goods. Also worth mentioning it’s quite interesting to visit the place during the day when comparing it to the bar atmosphere of Red Star during pre-pandemic nights. When restrictions aren’t in place, it can be a nice getaway for productivity settling in one of the booths.
A unique Edmonton coffee shop with a pleasant, out of the way feel being located below street level on Jasper Ave. Good quality coffee, friendly staff, and fantastic baked goods made in-house. Locale is spacious with large, solid wood furniture that is comfortable to sit in. Relaxed ambiance makes it a great place to enjoy a peaceful cup of coffee, meet a friend, or hold a business meeting away from other patrons.
Good atmosphere food and coffee
Excellent as always. Love the lattes, baked goods, and breakfast sandwiches.
This is one of best day time coffee shops in the city. Not well known. But excellent.
Great coffee. All the baked goods and breakfast treats are stellar. Overall is a great morining coffee stop when you are downtown Edmonton.
best coffee in edmonton
90% of everything is amazing, except the chicken sandwiches which are greasy and have chunks of bone and gristle. Great place for coffee and a breakfast sandwich though.
A phenomenal choice for coffee and treats on Jasper Ave. (Just had a scone the size of my face stuffed full of dill and butter, need I say more?)
Coffee is good but the service is a big of a mess. I've never really seen something quite do disorganized and confused.
Kouign-aman - crossant-like, fluffy, buttery and caramelized sugar bottom. Savory biscuit. Plenty of seating. Quiet in the morning. People working away on their labtop. They don't have plain coffee. But the Espresso and Gibraltar is really good. Not acidic at all.
The coffee is great here but I'd also highly recommend the breakfast sandwiches. It's located within Red Star, so you can also enjoy your coffee while sitting in the pub.
Wonderful service, truly spectacular food. Almost too good to eat. Also- super friendly baristas!
Intimate and cozy coffee shop. Nothing pretentious here. Great coffee and a great service. I love that I can get into my conversation right after ordering and they will bring me my coffee. Cheap parking at the meters west of the building.
Lox was delicious, Americano was ok, latte was cute but meh. Seat yourself and pickup after yourself for the price is not appealing. Tiny bagels with only one cream cheese option , the same as the lox bagel. Essentially go here for the lox but not much else. Oh and zero outlets in the whole place. This place is not for sitting around and working.
Good coffee and clean place. For a coffee shop I would have appreciated more outlets so I could work on my laptop.
Really good cappuccino and chocolate cake. The place is kind of hidden but it’s beautiful.
Great cozy spot. Excellent service, coffee and food. The menu is limited but everything on it is made on site and delicious. It becomes a pub at night.
Fantastic coffee, amazing vibe, also they serve fantastic muffins! This location is a must if you’re a coffee lover.
Best coffee in Edmonton, and the bacon biscuit sandwich (Saturday only?) is to die for.
I think this is my favourite cafe in the City now, been here several times and it's always great. I (also) recommend the "Gibralter". Shares a seated space with Red Star pub, so it's coffee by day and beer by night. The coffee is quite good, the staff are perfect, but the highlight for me is the ambiance and the luxurious amount of space they have, great for conversations.
I love this place, great atmosphere. The service is top notch, and the food is amazing, not to mention their killer coffee.
Decent coffee. A good place to have a coffee or a beer.
Delicious latte. Among the best ones I've ever had in YEG. Nice atmosphere with dim lights. Staff were friendly. Unique retro vibes. Check it out!
Amazing pastries, the Malva cake is incredible.
I love this place . The food and coffee excellent and the owner is a great guy.
Really good coffee with pleasant individuals and reasonable prices. The ambiance is great and nice tables too!
Really good coffee with pleasant individuals and reasonable prices. The ambiance is great and nice tables too!
Really awesome coffee, lots of non-dairy option milks. The pastries are amazing - try the sgnele and the malva pudding, and the roast chicken sandwich is out of this world. Friendly, down to earth staff. One of my fav coffee shops in Edmonton!
Best latte in town
Tasty tea. Friendly atmosphere
The ricotta pear scones are amazing! Coffee was pretty good too, on par with the other independent/hip coffee places in the city.
Cute little place, great lattes, espresso, and tea lattes. Prices on par with coffee shops in the area. There are always a few selections of scones and muffins which are a bit expensive but delicious. I like the atmosphere.
Amazing atmosphere, breakfast sandwiches, and coffee. I can’t wait to chill in this space again!
The coffee, chorizo breakfast sandwich and malva pudding cake are the best.
