Some of the best coffee in Calgary. I buy my whole bean coffee here, usually Black Jack or The Godfather. Very nice coffee, low acidity with nice chocolate notes. Their customer service is very good as well.

Coffee is good but their prices are high compared to other artisan coffee places. The staff don’t seem especially excited to be working here which brings the experience down a bit. Handy location though! Also having to listen to the barista blasting YouTube videos on his phone is a little annoying.

Fantastic! First time visit yesterday proved to be a great one. Parmesan/mozzarella with bechamel sauce bread knot - wow! The star of the show was my regular coffee and by far the best I have had in Calgary. Exceptionally smooth and refined! My only regret is forgetting to purchase a bag of beans. I cannot wait to return.

Hours listed here differ from actual hours. Closing time was actually 3:00, as opposed to 7:00 as it said on here. Seemed like a cute place but when something like this happens it doesn’t provide a positive experience. They should adjust their business hours on here. Thanks!

The coffee is good, the cookies are good, the sandwiches are good. Its all good....GREAT EVEN! Combo 1 - cup of Joe/Side of dough can't be beat. Also you have the dream team of Pistol and Darce behind the counter. That just makes the whole experience even better. They used to have sourdough bread for sale too, but now they don't.

The smell is lovely when you walk in the door.. . Enjoy a drink and artisan baked good at Analog Cafe. They do tours as well so you can learn about the coffee roasting process. Shout out to David and Russ for excellent customer service. My kids still talk about the visit!

Great Coffee! My wife and I found this place today. Really good coffee. The barista was friendly and the place is very nice. We also tried two different pastries. The cinnamon scone did not have a scone texture (not bad though) and the cheese pastry was rich but felt greasy. Over all, a great place with High quality coffee. Better pastries and it’s a 5 star for sure!

I have to go with a mixed review. I have had outstanding coffee from Fratello and used to buy from them exclusively -- several pounds a month via the web or their market location. They have a great selection of single origin fair trade coffee from around the world. However, I started getting overroasted coffee from them a few months ago. One pound of Godfather Espresso (which is normally amazing) was really dark brown, oily (mucked up my machine, which ticks me off) and bitter. I complained and they sent me a fresh pound, which is great, but the next four that I bought were also overroasted, oily, and bitter. These all had different roast dates. So right now Fratello and I are on a break. I hope to return to them soon. It's been a few months since I bought from them and I'm giving it a few more. There should not be nearly this many bad batches in a short time. Guys, watch the roast please. Coffee is pricey and I can't justify buying more when so many were below par. I'm reviewing, however, to note that their quality has been largely excellent and they are worth trying out. Overroasting really kills the nuances of a coffee so this is a big issue for me. I'll revise my review if things improve.

It's a small out of the way coffee and lunch spot, attached to a giant coffee bean processing facility. Since the beans are roasted right there, they have the best coffee you can find in this part of Calgary. Their lunch menu is a chalk board with 5 or 6 items, and the smoked Turkey sandwich is very tasty.

I have ordered online twice now after discovering their beans at a café in Banff this winter, and I really love the quality of the beans and roast. Have ordered a different bean each time as I love tasting different coffee. I live in Ontario, and I ordered on a Saturday and I received my order on Tuesday, freshly roasted, which I was really impressed with. Will continue to order online, and if I get out to Calgary again next winter, will be sure to stop in. Thanks guys

Fantastic coffee, well-built and moisty muffins. 5 stars there. Wifi (FCC-Guest) tested at 41/16mbps up/down at 9am, low traffic. Could do with some optimization on channels but overall, not terrible. 4 stars. No plugins near tables (or anywhere, best I could tell), so maybe they're working on a wireless power grid for later. We'll give them the benefit of the doubt.

I'll preface this by saying that I have been a fan of Analog's coffee from the beginning. They are still my favorite latte in town, and I've tried them all. What makes the coffee even better at this location is the excellent service! The guys working the till remember what I order, are always pleasant to chat with, and make me want to come back! I always look forward to stopping in for a coffee and a little break from my day, and these guys are a highlight. Keep it up guys, i'll be back!

Best coffee shop out there!!! I work just down the road and stop in regularly for my afternoon latte! The godfather roast is my favorite and purchase this for our espresso machine at home!
