Euphoria has been my go-to cafe for at least the past 8 years, from even before it was renovated and moved to the current location, they’ve always had amazing quality food and drinks and the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. It’s one of my top favourite cafes in the city and they never disappoint!

Waffles and coffee are good, but you have to come here for the designs they put in the coffee foam! Enough with the typical leaf designs! Here you get different types of bears. And of course, everyone knows your coffee tastes better when it looks so cute.

I was really excited to try this place out as the reviews are good, but I was really disappointed. We payed $10 for two drinks and both were bad. I got a cold brew, but I’m pretty sure it was made with carbonate water and it was extremely bitter. I called in to let someone know and they were really nice about it and made me a iced latte, but the latte has so much milk that I couldn’t even taste the coffee. I had about two sips of each drink before throwing them out and going to McDonald’s for a better coffee for a dollar. Definitely disappointed I wasted $10 on drinks that ended up in the garbage.

Beautiful place with great atmosphere and service. Staff are very friendly and helpful, prices are just right. The place is also quite big with plenty of tables. There's also a lounge area with couches and a fireplace, quite lovely. They have a couple of high chairs for toddlers and there's outside seating too. The red velvet cupcake is delicious!

Awesome cafe and staff. Really nice atmosphere. Always come here to chill out, have coffee and study. I have my favourite spot near the back but for some reason, they took away the lamps and made it really dimly lit. It makes it hard for me to study this way so I hope this will get fixed.

We’re not from Calgary and would like to try a new cafe. Got excited at the waffle but was unsatisfied. It was dry. Ordered a rebel mocha coffee but it tasted like tea. Not happy at all. The staff who helped us looked uninterested too while we were ordering.

If I could give 10/10 I would. The owner must be European because A) it says W.C. on the bathrooms (and I'm from Germany lol), and B) the IMPECCABLE sense of style. The beauty of this place is staggering, and the owner has clearly put a LOT of effort into making it beautiful. This will be my go-to place with friendly service, awesome coffee, and free wifi to boot. I'm in love! There are several other coffee shops I like in Calgary, but yesterday was my first time here and it's my instant favorite, and I'll make it here over anywhere else as much as humanly possible. To whoever the owner is--thanks for an amazing experience!!

A small tasty selection of treats and baking compliments the coffee well. Their beans are from Rosso, and well selected for delicious espresso. I had a latte and sipped my wife's americano. Well done. Great indie option out of the downtown core!

I have absolutely no issues with this place. Friendly staff, plenty of tables, and quite the variety of drinks and snacks. They even have miniature planes for sale! The walls are adorned with art, and the place has a wonderful rustic feel that Starbucks and Second Cup just can't replicate.

Happy to see the cafe opened again and following all AHS recommendations. I had a chuckle when the other day to get served by a masked employee who stated “ I am smiling under the mask” I could tell by the tone of their voice and sparks in their eyes. Matt and his team did a wonderful job of adapting to the Covid lockdown and continued to provide great customer service along with tasty products. The prepaid app works well and was perfect to help with service and curb side delivery. Such a lovely place to visit and patronize.

This place has great coffee and baking. The only drawback is that there are no change tables in the bathroom. It's awkward trying to change a baby on the bathroom floor! This place is so great to hang out at but definitely not ideal if you have a little one.

I actually really enjoyed this Euphoria Cafe, the tea was great, the macaron flavours were more creative than the usual, and a nice overall atmosphere. However my entire experience was entirely ruined when I came out to a $63 fine! I parked in the diamond lot as all of the parking spots in front of Euphoria was for medical/pharmacy only. I figured this is a general parking spot which included Euphoria, I got ticketed within 15 minutes. Considering that Euphoria moved over one lot, I thought the parking would still be fine, but no. Now I'm not placing blame onto Euphoria, but they took no time and consideration to inform customers whatsoever. I didn't know about diamond parking so I hope this helps others who also don't know about them.

I really like Euphoria! They're really nice and friendly here, they serve delicious food and drinks, and everything is always super high quality! It's very clean and well maintained, and the internal decor is pleasing! It's also a very quick walk from the Dalhousie train station, so it's an extremely convenient location!

First time here a sweet little Cafe with bright and light atmosphere. Met up for coffee with a friend and got two drinks and macarons. It was a lovely causal atmosphere. For a quick coffee date I absolutely recommend this place.

If you miss the days when coffee shops had character and atmosphere over cookie cutter corporate clones this place is for you. The variety of beverages is full of non value meal choices, the food is made ON SITE and not trucked in and assembled IKEA style. There are plenty of options for vegan/vegetarian, gluten/dairy free, and even low carb people! There's plenty of seating, you can even sit outside when the weather allows. The one down side is the availability of parking. This is not their fault, the land owners seem dedicated to making the parking lot as small as possible in order to cram on as many condos as possible. Worth the money, worth the time. Great for coffee with friends,, lunch, dinner, casual business meetings, or a date night.

I ordered a chunky monkey waffle, which was nothing exceptional, especially for the price I paid. The waffle itself was pretty dense, I would’ve liked it to be crispier and airier. It was much too sweet for my taste, and the chocolate chips weren’t fully melted. It would’ve been nice to see other toppings, such as whipped cream or more pecans, which would better compliment the bananas. Service was a mixed bag. The guy at the cash register seemed uninterested and impatient, whereas the girl working behind the counter was very cheerful :) I might pay this place another visit and try one of their drinks, but I wouldn’t recommend getting a waffle.

Beautiful location and a great place to work, study or catch up with friends! Had the vegan mango spice muffin, vegan pistachio strawberry loaf, vegan Gold Coast smoothie and a coffee. Everything was fresh and tasted home made with really affordable prices considering how it was vegan! Loved this and will be back again soon ????

Would not recommend. Got a medium vanilla late for $6. Was very disappointed, although it had beautiful milk art, the coffee itself tasted burnt, bitter and had a strange after taste. Save you money and go to a Tim Hortons or McDonald’s.

I've been going to this coffee shop since its inception (or close to) and I will keep coming back. The staff are great, the prices are fine and drinks are delicious. Love that they're incorporating new foods onto their menu - but their waffles are delightful. Definitely recommend!

I stopped in for a cold drink, on a hot day. I ordered a large smoothie to go. Although it tasted good, I was quite disappointed with the value. It cost approximately eight dollars, and was served in a cup that would be considered, at best, a medium. The juice came out of a commercial looking jug, so for the same price, I could have gotten a fresh juice smoothie at a place like booster juice, AND received twice the volume for the same cost. I left with my smoothie feeling a little ripped off. For me, the sitting area seemed quite cramped, but for some people I see how they might consider it cozy.

This place has really grown and become a popular cafe that I tell all my friends about. Great coffee, food and snacks! Once in a while they have a pop up shop for donuts. ???????? Great little coffee shop in Varsity. Parking lot is a little tight with the various businesses interlaced in three but the coffee and the pastries is worth the visit. They serve Rosso coffee and I've never had a bad cub...better yet I've never had a coffee that's not excellent from here. Great place for a brew.

Fantastic locally owned café in NW. Tried the Stampede Steak Melt which tasted excellent. Value is pretty good as well when you think about the quality you're getting. I also love that Euphoria sells a wide assortment of model airplanes (i.e. Gemini Jets). Overall a great choice for a tasty breakfast or lunch in NW Calgary.

Delicious... but never friendly!! Amazing coffee, macarons, baking etc etc... but the service is very cold -every time I go in there... lack of friendliness and warmth. I've noticed this every time I go in (and 3 other people have noticed and agreed).. Wouldn't recommend this place because of this.

Euphoria USED TO be a great little cafe with a cool atmosphere and the best chai tea latte I child find in Calgary. A year or two ago I would have rated it a 5. Unfortunately, since it has changed locations, it has massively gone downhill. Since they moved, it seems to me that the staff have changed. There used to consistently be the same staff. They were friendly and offered good and timely customer service. The drinks were good especially the chai, and they offered a decent selection of food options for various diets. Since they changed locations, most of the staff are lazy and rude. People are often waiting a long time for drinks when when it appears that the staff are not busy or there are employees standing around. Also the quality of their chai tea lattes seems to have gone down. It had way less flavour than the ones I used to get there. The last time I was there, they informed us at 7:45 that they had changed their hours and were now closing at 8. At 8:02, an employee came and sternly (almost aggressively) told us we needed to leave. Since we were already clearly finishing up and getting ready to leave, I don't understand why they felt the need to talk to us this way just two minutes after closing time. I wonder if management is aware of the poor customer service their staff are providing. Due to their reduced hours and poor customer service, we hustled out of there and headed to the Starbucks in indigo, just across Crowchild. We received excellent service there, the staff were friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. Due to the increasing number of issues i have encountered at Euphoria, I do not plan to return. I hope the owners are able to make the necessary adjustments to make Euphoria what it used to be.

This is a really nice coffee spot. They have a nice marzocco espresso machine that pours very delicious shots. Nice calm atmosphere and comfortable seating areas. I like the fact that they have paintings/art of local artists. Staff are friendly and bathrooms are clean and tidy. Can't wait to go back and get another cappuccino.

Super cute and cozy cafe in Varsity. The drinks are tasty - I usually get the Chai Tea Latte but am curious about the Spanish Latte! Food was good as well and everything was priced pretty reasonably. It's close to the train station at Dalhousie so its definitely easy to get to. Love coming here!

[THIS REVIEW WAS WRITTEN FOR THE OLD LOCATION] Great coffee! The cafe is nice for meeting up with friends and chatting. Not as good for studying if you have more stuff than a laptop because the tables are quite small. The space does get quite loud during busy times (noon and weekends) so definitely bring headphones if you're planning to study and get distracted easily. I wish there was better lighting in areas that are away from the windows (such as the area closer to the bathroom).

I was going to go in here to purchase something but by the time I arrived, I saw the staff dry humping behind the counter so I decided to take my business elsewhere. Lucky for them, the customers could not see them as they were sitting in the inner corner and other side of the cafe but unfortunately, there are glass windows to the outside and as I walked by, I saw it and did not want to enter before it got awkward that I caught them in the moment. I usually come to this place but the last 2 times, the staff have been unprofessional so I'm on the fence whether to go back. Perhaps third times a charm? I enjoy the drinks and food here but not enjoying the staff.

Lousy customer service and care. My friend and I met here for tea/coffee a few days ago. Unfortunately, my friend kicked the table accidently and my fresh, very hot tea dumped into my lap (and on the table, and on the floor, and in my purse). This isn't a complaint about the temperature of the water - hot tea requires hot water, there's no way around that. What really irked me is that the staff made ZERO effort to see if I was OK, and, if anything, made me feel like an inconvenience. While I appreciate that it's important to clean up the water on the floor to ensure no one slips, I was standing right there when the guy was mopping up - he could have asked. Thanks for caring, Euphoria Café.... don't worry, I won't bother you with my patronage again. Oh, and BTW, I'll find out how my second degree burns are healing when I go for my next appointment at the burn clinic.

Friendly and helpful staff. They are happy to explain any of the drinks and dishes if you have questions. Items are fairly priced. Went on a weekday afternoon and it was not crowded indoors. There is also outdoor seating available. There is a two hour limit on the parking (just give your licence plate number to the staff to get free parking), but the staff do not rush you out and there is minimal noise to allow for conversation. Ordered the MOB honey latte and Belgian waffles with dark chocolate syrup.

The Cafe is a bit small but has a great modern but warm feel to it. They seem to take pride in their smoothies, there are great options, non-dairy, fruit and veggie, power smoothies. A large smoothie costs $5.90 or $6.50, which I find to be reasonable. They were featuring a toffee smore latte, which I decided to try. Most of the hot drinks are a bit more than $4 for a medium, which I find a bit pricey.

Good atmosphere, good service. My gf loves the place and goes there often. I wanted to try it out VERY disappointed with my dessert. The flavour I could taste were sugar and whipped cream . That’s all . Was not able to finish it and didn’t want to take it home ( which is VERY unusual for me). I know they don’t make this dessert in house though, they get it from another bakery . I’d give this place another try but don’t want to sacrifice another $6.50 on something I’m not sure about

I ordered the Breakfast Wrap for $11.00 which was surprisingly underwhelming and took a fair amount of time to make. It was a bland crepe with a thin layer of egg stuffed with raw onions, barely sauteed mushrooms and bell peppers. Barely any protein. The drinks were good, if just a little too sweet.

Be warned, after drinking these guy's coffee you will never want to go back to Starbucks or Tim Horton's again! I have not tried any of their espresso drinks yet, but their drip coffee is amazing! I especially like Guatemala but their selection may change. They use Rosso coffee beans. After having a cup, McDonald's coffee will taste like water. I do not recommend the large size, as their coffee is very strong. Medium is plenty. Oh, and skip the sugar and cream to really savour the taste!

Had a Mexican Mocha (mocha with cinnamon), a Spanish Latte (latte with condensed milk) and peach/mango muffin. Delicious! The cafe had a great vibe with everyone either working on their laptops or chatting in small groups relaxing and having a good time.

Amazing experience! The cafe itself is beautifully laid out and has a uniquely positive atmosphere. The staff is hard working and extremely friendly. The drink and food options are unique and delicious. The Mediterranean wrap is by far my favourite food item on the menu. Would definitely recommend!

The location is nice. The coffee shop it self looks really cozy and lovely decorative. I ordered Spanish latte and hot chocolate for my kiddo. From the desert we get tiramisso in a cup and cruffin which is filled pastrie with chocolate cream. Overall, my experience was ok.

Drinks are always great. I'd recommend the Dublin fog, it's sweet but not overly so. It's a bit pricy, and I am not a fan of the chai (too much cinnamon!) but everything else is delicious! It's one of our regular stops

Great choices for pastries and there is also freshly baked bread. I was surprised they sell Turkish coffee, I’m used to buying it and making it at home, it’s not common to order in coffee shops. The coffee was made really well they know their craft. In terms of coffee taste, I would say the beans taste similar to Fratello beans, so it depends on your preference. I would come back and try other drinks. They had a coffee sampler on the menu, so that’s my next choice when I’m in the neighbourhood.

One of the only quality cafés in NW Calgary. Currently serving Rosso (local roaster) coffee with high-quality pour-overs available by the cup. The baked goods and food have always been very good and there are GF/Keto/Veg options for those who require them. For a small shop, there is a surprising amount of seating indoor as well as some tables outdoors. Free parking and lots of places within 100m to sit and enjoy a drink outside.

I give them 1 star because I ordered a Vietnam iced coffee, it just like a iced coffee from McDonald's. Am I expected too much? From my experience Vietnamese coffee is much stronger and made with condensed milk but they are not. The staff took my order maybe have a long day work, she didn't feel happy to serve. Great coffee and pastries! They use Rosso coffee. This place is hip and attracts a university crowd. There is outdoor seating and lots of seating inside for meeting with friends or for studying. Their straws are compostable!

My first visit to this place was a few years ago, and it was fantastic, then. Piping hot coffee with classic as well as unique flavour combinations offered, delicious European pastries. It's a beautifully-lit café and a great place to have quiet conversations. A few more visits since then, I observed a consistent drop in quality in both the food and the coffee. I visited just last week, and found the flavour of the coffee was quite weak, and it was served at room temperature. I was disappointed by the sausage roll (very bland), french macarons and a cake slice I'd bought to share (both the sweets were very stale). I do expect better quality because I know what they've been capable of in the past, so I likely won't be back for quite a while.

A sweet little NW gem! Euphoria cafe is a rare "uptown" style cafe located in Dalhousie. The lattes, cappuccinos and other delectable beverages are all expertly made. Prices are very reasonable, including food prices. It is just awesome!

I discovered Euphoria Cafe in 2012, and since then it's grown on me, as well as grown - literally. It's now nearly double its original size, but the beverages have remained high quality, whether that's one of the organic fair trade coffees, a matcha green tea latte (my current fave), or a fruit smoothie. Local artists' work lines the walls, and robust free WiFi makes this a great place to have small group meetings or study sessions. Independent, cozy, charming, chill, and largely unblemished by hipster excess.

Love this place! The food, drinks and service is always great. The only reason why I'm giving it 4 stars is because we were in earlier and ordered our food and drinks to stay, but once the food arrived, our server didn't ask if we needed anything else/drop us off any cutlery. We assumed its kinda like "self service" instead so we ended up going to the front looking, thinking the cutlery was out where the napkins were, but there wasn't any. Since everyone was busy at the front, we had to wait around a bit before asking for the cutlery which was behind the counter in a drawer... No wonder we couldn't find it! It was our first time ordering and staying in the cafe to eat instead of our usual to-go orders, so now we know. Highly recommend stopping in if you are in the area though!

I phoned the cafe this afternoon to confirm that they had vegan cupcakes in stock after seeing on their website that they accommodate allergies and offer vegan, GF and dairy free baked goods. I was assured by the person that answered that they do have vegan free cupcakes available and that I can walk in and purchase as many as I need. Not 2 hrs later, I walked and mentioned that I had phoned earlier about vegan cupcakes and if I could see them. The response from the clerk was “we don’t have any vegan cupcakes, we only have this” and pointed to a saran wrapped chocolate MUFFIN with a few slices of banana on top (definitely a far cry from a cupcake if you ask me). I then explained that I spoke to a male on the phone earlier and was assured that there was an ample amount of cupcakes available. Another clerk came over, looked and me then display case and said “all we have are these” I take a look and they all that was available were some macarons, a flat cupcake with some chocolate shavings sprinkled on top with a sign saying GF and Dairy Free and some other baked goods that clearly weren’t anything close to being a cupcake. I received no apologizes, just blank stares in return. You would assume in this economical downturn that the last thing a business would do is mislead customers and provide horrible customer service. I forgot to mention that the cupcakes were for my 3 year old niece who has severe food allergies. She’ll now have to watch everyone else enjoy their desserts as there will nothing for her because I am now late for our dinner reservations and left with no time to try to find another bakery. This will be the first and absolute last time I will ever step foot into this establishment. I will definitely be sharing my experience when being asked for a recommendation on good bakeries in town.

Amazing vanilla lattes and the only place in Calgary that I can find that serves authentic bulletproof coffee. The Belgian waffles look amazing .... that's on my list for my next visit. Matt the maestro conducts a symphony of flavours with his baristas. Euphoria Cafe is truly a gem in this city. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed and the drinks they make are delicious. They serve the best matcha latte in the city and my partner loves their cappuccino. Euphoria is easily the best coffee shop in northwest Calgary. In most other coffee shops, while the coffee is great, the food is mediocre. Not so at Euphoria. The drinks are amazing, the paninis are delicious, and the baking is scrumptious. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, and the owner Matt is conscientious. Definitely worth checking out!
