Usually our go to place while in town except this morning the lady was grumpy , and my vanilla latte tasted like dirty water and chocolate.. we ordered a few drinks to go and I can tell she didn’t clean the milk froth container between drinks.. ended up making my own coffee at the house.

I visit many coffee shops, I was expecting the typical coffee bar experience. I was wrong, you know the shop is doing something right when all customers inside and inline rave about the place and are all in a great mood. If you are looking for a great ambiance Crumb is the right choice. The staff is superior to any coffee shop I have been to in Edmonton. They are friendly cheerful and happy to help. I was going to order a dirty chai latte when I saw a special for the egg nog dirty chai latte, I tried this delectable coffee... It was my favorite coffee of all times. I have since been at least twice a week and sometimes daily. The only recommendation is larger cups. You have to try this place. Canadian place with coffee beans from Canada. YUM

The ladies who own this coffee shop are often at the counter, are always pleasant to talk to, and make excellent drinks. They have almost the same variety as many of the chains and use very high quality ingredients. They also have a good selection of locally made treats, like cookies, raspberry loaf, and croissants. We go there almost every day, and I would definitely recommend it over Starbucks or Second Cup.

Really excited to visit as hadn’t been by since Covid. Purchased drinks and baking. Went to get into car and plastic package for one muffin popped open and iced carrot muffin fell onto pavement. Asked if we could get a replacement due to the mishap, kind of like the ice cream shop tradition. Barista meekly refused and offered to call the manager for me. Over a muffin? In a shop selling $450 artsy backpacks? Wow, interesting customer service. So we just got out the credit card to buy another $5 muffin because we had somewhere to be like most people in the morning. Drinks were lukewarm. Maybe just bad timing, but super disappointing. Crumy. Won’t return.

Crum Coffee Bar replaced an old and not-so-great Second Cup - it’s so awesome to see local businesses thrive in the place of failing chains. Goes to show that the “Crum sisters” are doing something right! Crum has lots of delicious pastries and any kind of coffee concoction you can think of. They suggested I try a dirty chai with oat milk and it was fantastic! I enjoy the calm and relaxed atmosphere which you could tell many people were there for as there were many people working, or visiting/meeting in small groups. With great service and drinks, Crum is my go-to Café on the southside.

This was on my list of places to go for a while but I was never in the area. Finally had a chance to go and now I can't stop coming back. The lavender london fog was sublime and the raspberry lemon loaf too. I had to have the exact same order twice but the rest of the menu and treats also looked delicious. Great to finally come past this cafe! Really great chai and baked goods too. Heard a lot of good things about this local business, but a bit disappointed with the staff adherence to current AB COVID regulations. I guess 2/3 staff adherence is a pass these days. Would love to support local businesses like Crum, but I wouldn't feel comfortable coming back knowing not all staff are taking this pandemic seriously.

Decent place for a quick stop for coffee and a snack. We tried their sweet potato gluten free cookies and an americano. The cookies are decent but certainly on the pricey side (we were charged $6 per cookie!). Coffee is so so, more on the bitter side. $16 for 2 cookies and an americano certainly seemed pricey for what you get. We may be back if we are in the area, but certainly we’d be looking for a Starbucks first!

Absolutely magnificent. From their coffee to sweet treats. They offer lactose free, vegan, organic, and gluten free options. I myself am not vegan or gluten intolerant but the baked goods that are vegan and gluten free taste AMAZING!!! I'm a huge fan of the carrot muffin and the crum cookie. If you love your mochas please try their dark mocha latte. I've never had such a delicious twist on a coffee classic, Perfect for a venturing coffee connoisseur. I got to try their pumpkin spice latte this time and honestly i'm going here for it. It tastes amazing without the overbearing sweetness that other places have and perfectly compliments the coffee in such a natural way. I've never had a bad cup and I will only continue to look forward to my next order.

Christine has cooked me up the perfect latte for years. Now these sisters can do it the way they want. Like every other person rushing from A to B I eat my fair share of fast food, however every time I take the 5 min out to pop in and see them I never leave disappointed! Take a page out of my book and stop for one of the masterfully crafted lattes that these two make (the carrot cake is great too! No raisins or nuts, just tasty carrots in cake!!). You won't even be mad at the crums all over your desk when you're done ;).

I stumbled onto this place when I was killing time until an appointment. I walked in and was met with the expected delicious aroma of coffee beans and a friendly greeting. I ordered the lavender London fog and was not disappointed, it was delicious and creamy. To accompany I also ordered a lemon raspberry loaf. It was intensely satisfying and equally as good as my London fog. I will be back!!

The staff member on was friendly, but the space was disorganized and a little cluttered. The bathroom requires some maintenance (little water pressure and some water on the floor). They do have lots of gluten and dairy allergy aware snacks, and they have the full ingredients list written out which is nice. The beverages were not good. I had a black dark roast coffee and it was weak and had little flavor. The iced Almond milk latte was bitter and also undrinkable.

I ordered a Chai and I got it in record time. I was given my tea before I even finished paying for my drink. It is a pretty quiet place to go with not much activity. I will admit, however, that it was pretty cold inside. In the end, I went somewhere else to warm up.

Very good. I only actually had the dirty Chai but it was one of the best Chai's I've ever had. I wish the place was a little more coffee house intimate, & my Chai was served in a paper cup which looked like a small medium size (definately not large but I'm pretty sure we were charged for a large). We stayed in so I would have much preferred a glassware mug & saved a tree. That's the main reason it's getting a 4☆. I think if they could maybe make the place a little more comfortable, say a small loveseat or a couple small arm chairs, mixed with 2-3, 4 person tables & a couple 2 person ones & a drinking bar it would definitely cozy up the decor, this place would have excellent potential. Right now, personally, I feel they are trying to squeeze too many big tables & chairs into a small space & I didn't get a great look, but they seemed to be florescent lighting throughout. I'm not going to give up on them but I really hope they do some small changes here & there & I believe Crum will have some huge potential

Crum used to be a favourite of mine. I'd go every chance I could when I was in Edmonton. Unfortunately the last two times I've been have truly been terrible. Incorrectly made drinks, savoury and sweet foods smooshed together in the same package. Bad coffee during a pandemic is a first world problem, fair enough, but at $6.75 a cup it should be made right.

Just ordered cappuccinos and very healthy baked goods and had them delivered to my home. Fantastic cappuccinos - rarely do people get it right when I ask for a dry cappuccino. They did. And the paleo gluten free carrot muffin was perfection. Healthy and delicious is my favourite food combo. Such a treat. I have never been to the physical store, but when we are out of lockdown, which I hope is sooner rather than later, I plan to visit in person :) Kudos to the owners and can't wait to try the other baked goods I bought!

Nice, quiet spot with minimal decoration. I was looking for a good cafe in the south and found this place. The belgian waffle was worth it, and i enjoyed the mocha as well. The barista was alone and extremely friendly and kind. The only drawback was the lack of wifi. This would be an ideal spot to study/work because of the layout, but most people need wifi for that. If wifi is added this would earn 5 stars.

Went here for the first time and I was very happy!! The place is small but lots of place to sit, they have cool art on the walls, we ask the girl what she will recommend and got the drinks she recommended us, mine was the lavender chai and is was definitely a different drink but well balance, after drinking half of it it was so blue that reminded me of the movie Bridget Jones’s Diary when she makes soup and turn out blue lol, I did got the chocolate croissant and it was delicious ( is one of my favorite pastries) I could have ate 4 but then I will get fat lol!!! Well I think this place will be in my to go places!!

I had the iced mocha which was AMAZING and the bumbleberry oat bar which hit the spot. staff was very friendly and they have some cool art but the seat is only bar stools in front of 2 windows and a few chairs outside. The basic milk drinks (cappuccinos and lattes) and the flavoured drinks (I just got the Hazelnut Latte ????) have all been very tasty. They use the right amount of milk and it complements the coffee! Mocha was decent, but both employees (large man with a bun and a girl) were removing their masks behind the bar and the man was preparing drinks and Uber order without a mask on. There was no handwashing happening in between moving the masks and helping customers either. If you're trying to prevent yourself from getting covid I'm sure you can find a cafe actually following Alberta Health covid regulations.

When I asked, the girl working said “well, we only open at 8”. I would have expected that they be prepared to serve customers when they open. We got the cafe freddo and mocha today. Drinks were good, however I’m giving 2 stars because they did not implement the AB regulations regarding indoor dining strictly. They had a sign of “No indoor dining”, but there was a couple who were enjoying their drinks inside the cafe. Hopefully the management and staff can be more strict about the rules so other customers will feel more safe in their cafe.

The staff is kind. I ordered Caffe Freddo with shot of vanilla. You can taste the strong the espresso coffee with hint of vanilla. Urban and modern in vibe, very good coffee and pastries. Clean bathrooms. Faces East and North so not smoking hot in the summer, but south exposure is not obstructed so sitting on their patio sidewalk is pleasant in the morning and or afternoon. Patio faces the sidewalk but its not unpleasant.

I tried the Caffe Freddo on my first visit here and something was off about it, I got it with Hazelnut so it could have been that their syrup was off... but I decided to try it again (no flavour) and it was fantastic!! A couple of the workers are not as quick as others, speed can be improved but overall a great place with tasty drinks!!

BEST COFFEE IN TOWN!! The girls who own it are amazing and super personable. I've had an excellent experience every time I've come here. I LOVE that they are so accommodating with gluten-intolerances.... only coffee shop I have been to in the city that has DELICIOUS vegan and gluten free options. Coffee and lattes taste GREAT every time! Their dirty chai lattes are a MUST. I will drive out of my way to come here... totally worth it!! :):)

Tried the limited hazelnut cafe freddo and it was so good! Perfect cold coffee drink for the summer. Also enjoyed the lemon raspberry loaf.
